MTV’s “True Life: I Want My Ex Back” followed two people who hoped to rekindle romances with their past paramours. We had an opportunity to check in with both Taylor and Bianca to see how their lives have changed since filming wrapped — and to ask the all-important question, “Did you get back together with your ex?” Take a look at our follow-up Q&As below:
TAYLOR
Have you had any contact with your ex since filming stopped?
I’ve had very little contact with Felicia. We talked about our pasts and she said that I wasn’t trying anymore, which I’m not. I’m living my life for me, not anyone else.
Have you been seeing anyone new?
I have a girlfriend of almost two months. She’s the sweetest person, and she’s so freaking cute. It’s amazing to have someone like her, and I’m so happy I have her.
What was it like being filmed while going through such an emotionally difficult time?
I love that I was able to share my story with the world. It was a little awkward at first, but I got used to it. Hopefully, I’ll be able to help someone out.
What kind of relationship (if any) do you think you’ll have with your ex in the future?
Right now, I don’t see any type of relationship with Felicia.
BIANCA
Have you had any contact with your ex since filming stopped?
I haven’t had any contact with Chris but hope we will keep in touch.
Have you been seeing anyone new?
I’m seeing someone new, and it’s going really well. I feel the show helped me open up, so I hope for the best.
What was it like being filmed while going through such an emotionally difficult time?
It was extremely hard. Chris is such a deep subject for me, and I felt like I couldn’t escape at all. To know my raw emotions were shown scares me. In the end, though, it was a relief and a freeing experience.
What kind of relationship, if any, do you think you’ll have with your ex in the future?
I always hope to have a friendship with him and to know that if he needed me, I’m always there. And I hope for the same with him. I value him as a person the way he values me, so we’ll always be close.
