Sign language, is, first, a language, but when it comes to music, ASL can also become an art. At the recent TomorrowWorld music festival in Atlanta, Keelin Lambert interpreted the lyrics to Gareth Emery’s “U” for her deaf friend Monica Frederick, dancing along.
TomorrowWorld included insanely orchestrated stages and set designs intended to make the music festival look otherworldly.
This video went viral shortly after it was posted, and you’ll soon see why. The way Keelin translates is so genuine, since she’s totally invested in the song and her friend.
