Iggy Azalea and Charli XCX turned heads and rocked the house when they took the stage at the 2014 mtvU Woodie Awards to perform their new single “Fancy.”
After a Danny Brown introduction and a joke about catching a “woodie,” the Australia-born Azalea came out styling in calf-high boots, gold shorts, a black and white plaid-pattern bra and rhymes for days. “First things first, I’m the realest/ Drop this and let the whole world feel it,” she rapped to the bouncy synth line.
Iggy strutted her stuff alongside her female dancers and warmed the stage before Charli jumped out to add the hook. “I’m so fancy, you already know,” she sang before inviting fans to dive into her rockstar lifestyle while she trashes hotels and raids the mini-bar.
Before the close, the party was in full swing as pink balloons floated from the stage to the crowd and gold confetti poured from the top of the stage.
“Who dat, who dat,” Iggy asked repeatedly as the beat faded out, but after her stunning Woodie performance, we’re guessing that question is pretty much rhetorical.
