If you’ve ever had a yen to see Cassadee Pope — of “The Voice” — sleeping, there’s only one place you can do so come Monday (September 30). And that place is exclusively on the MTV app.
Pope’s new show Cassadee Pope: Frame by Frame premieres on Friday, October 4, on CMT, but come Monday, you can get an exclusive peek at the first episode for an entire week via our app, available now in the iTunes store.
“People are going to see me sleeping very unattractively in the van,” Pope said in a promo for the show. “They’re also going to see me starting on the Rascal Flatts tour.”
Pope was the winner of the 2012 season of “The Voice,” an experience that led to a mentorship courtesy of country star Blake Shelton and the upcoming release of her debut album, Frame By Frame, due out October 8.
“My new show on CMT is going to be following me in the studio when I’m recording with Dann Huff and it’s going to be following me on my first radio tour, which is hectic,” Pope said. “There’s a lot of things that people don’t expect when you’re trying to roll out new music and roll out a new artist…. There’s a lot of hard work that goes into it, so I’m excited for people to see all that.”
Pope isn’t about to get full of herself, though. At a recent CMT event she said: “I’ve never had a party for myself or my music or had a party where I sat on a couch and watched my journey on a wall — or I had my team say these things that made me feel loved.”
We’re just glad she’s still humble enough to let us watch her snooze.
