Producer Cozmo steps out from behind the digital audio workstation and enters the recording booth for his first major single as a rapper, “What Dreams Are Made Of.”
The Taylor Gang spitter from the Bay Area gets some assistance from AVRY and Wiz Khalifa on the D Wells and The Elevaterz-produced track. Listen to it below.
“Late nights locked in the studio, I know I’m great, but gotta prove it, though/ To shine on these b—hes and these groupie hoes, that used to play that bourgeois role,” he raps.
The Blacc Hollywood MC adds some very contemplative lyrics that seem to delve into his embattled personal life.
“I’m going through some things, but I gotta eat, people hit my phone hopin’ I’m good to speak/ That’s what family does, pick you up, help you when you weak,” he raps.
What Dreams Are Made Of, which features Twista and Cyhi The Prince, is slated to be released in January.
