Your Old Droog Blows ‘Secondhand Gunsmoke’ On New Track

Timing is everything.

So Your Old Droog is striking while the iron is still hot with his latest release, “Secondhand Gunsmoke.”

The Coney Island rapper premiered the Superblack-produced track on Sway’s Shade 45 morning show Thursday (September 18).

Not surprisingly, Droog rides the nostalgic bass line with lyrics that highlight his dexterity with metaphor and prose that lives up to all the previous comparisons to Nas.

“Who am I? The relative unknown, who killed 8,000 birds with one stone/Who you? Son you just a waste of breath, and I don’t give a eff,” he raps.

For more from Droog, check out his video “Just Rhymin’ With Skizz” that proved once and for all he was not Nas.
