That ’22 Jump Street’ D–k-Shooting Game Is Real, And It’s Horrifying

by 12 mins ago

22 Jump Street” was one of the craziest movies of 2014, and there was nothing crazier than the end credits sequence, which imagined decades of “Jump Street” sequels and merchandise.

The most disturbing part of the credits, however, wasn’t an actual movie poster but an electronic playset for “39 Jump Street.” The goal of the game? For kids to shoot four dildos with lasers, which were stand-ins for Rob Riggle’s character’s man-parts: he was shot there in the first movie, though why he has four, we have no idea.

But as “22 Jump Street” co-director Chris Miller found out, there’s nothing you can dream up that the Internet won’t take to the next level.

Yup, that’s right kids. What was a quick shot in the movie is now a real live playset, with two of those electronic laser tag guns you had as a kid and, of course, a complete set of fake d–ks. It’s suitable for ages 3 and up, because nothing says family fun like shooting lasers at a bunch of dildos together.

It also comes with its very own brick wall on which to mount said d–ks, because the most obvious place for law-breaking d–ks to go is on top of a short brick wall.

As of this writing, Rob Riggle has not responded to Miller, but if he doesn’t want it, we’d be glad to take it off the director’s hands. You know… for journalism.

Is this the weirdest thing that’s ever been actually created for a movie? Possibly. But ...

‘The Expendables’ Can’t Stop Screaming In This Supercut: Watch

by 24 mins ago

As we’ve seen throughout the careers of the various action stars in “The Expendables 3,” the cast is great at a ton of stuff. From kung fu to brawling, comedy to prestige films, they’ve all shown incredible range. But there’s one thing the Expendables are great at that doesn’t involve fighting or quippy one-liners: they’re amazing at screaming.

The techniques are all different, but they all work, and here we see the screams, grunts and yells of multiple generations of action movie heroes, from old-timers like Arnold Schwarzengger and Sylvester Stallone (who have their screams perfected) to newcomers like Kellen Lutz.

Each Expendable seems to have his own distinctive scream. Harrison Ford opts for more of a Tarzan-like yelp, while Arnold Schwarzenegger sounds like a strangled Austrian cat.

So enjoy watching the best screams of the cast of “The Expendables.” Let us know which ones are your favorites, and which you want to scream at us for leaving out.

Watch Jennifer Lawrence Sing Happy Birthday To Herself

by 11 mins ago

At 24 years old, Jennifer Lawrence has managed to win an Oscar, get nominated for two more, anchor a multi-billion dollar movie franchise, and win the hearts of pretty much every person on earth who has a pulse.

Since today is her 24th birthday, we really wanted to honor her by creating a special rendition of the “Happy Birthday” song. But with someone so accomplished, it’s hard to think of anyone worthy of the honor of singing it to her. I mean, this is Katniss Everdeen herself: how do you top the Girl on Fire?

The answer is, you don’t. Why get someone to sing “Happy Birthday” to one of the biggest stars of our time when you can just get her to sing to herself? She’s the only one who can really match up to the standards she’s set, realistically.

Of course Jennifer Lawrence, as great and down-to-earth as she is, would never be narcissistic enough to actually sing to herself. So we decided to do it for her, taking some clips of her amazing characters and interviews and having her sing the ultimate birthday tribute to herself.

Happy birthday, Jennifer! We hope 24 is as good as 23, and with “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1″ coming out in November, we’re sure it’ll be off to a great start.

Paul Walker Filmed A Shark Week Special Before He Died: Watch A Clip

by 39 mins ago

Maybe the only thing Paul Walker loved more than cars was the ocean.

The actor was always a huge marine biology enthusiast, having studied it in college, and was reportedly fascinated by sharks. Walker even helped with a 2013 Shark Week special “Spawn of Jaws.”

It turns out that the star was actually in the middle of filming a followup to that special, called “Spawn of Jaws: The Birth,” which airs tonight (August 13) on Discovery. Walker’s partner on the endeavor, Dr. Michael Domeier, was very conflicted about finishing the project without his friend and colleague.

“Honestly, I really didn’t want to keep working on the film,” Domeier said to EW. “But after a few months went by, I decided, ‘Okay, Paul would want us to finish it, let’s finish it.’”

Domeier said that he hadn’t wanted Walker on the initial mission for 2010′s “Shark Men,” but that he was impressed by the actor and the two became fast friends. A couple of times, Walker even told Domeier that he wanted to quit acting and go back to school.

“He would call me in the middle of the night and say, ‘Hey, I want to quit acting. I want to go back to school. Can you help me?’” Domeier said. “And I’d talk him off the ledge and go, ‘Paul, that’s a really bad idea…You can have much more of an influence on these topics as a celebrity. Let’s work together. I can help you, give you talking points.’”

Jason Biggs Apologizes For Malaysian Airlines Tweets

by 23 mins ago

Jason Biggs has apologized for a tweet made about yesterday’s (July 17) Malaysian Airlines tragedy.

The tweet, which he has since deleted, referenced the tragedy of a Malaysian airliner which was shot down over Ukraine, by what appears to be pro-Russian separatist forces. Over 300 people were onboard, including a number of Americans.

Shortly after the crash, Biggs tweeted, “Anyone wanna buy my Malaysian Airlines frequent flier miles?” to his 452,000 followers, who almost immediately struck back at the “Orange is the New Black” actor for his remark.

Biggs then responded with a series of angry tweets at the people who took issue with his initial tweet. He has since deleted those as well, but we have screenshots of them below. Be warned, as the second tweet contains a curse.

Today (July 18), though, the actor issued an apology:

The actor has previously drawn ire for similar tweets about a “Bachelorette” contestant who died, and the (previous) Malaysian plane which went missing.

Josh Hutcherson Thinks He’s Pablo Escobar’s Son In ‘Paradise Lost’ Teaser

by 18 mins ago

Josh Hutcherson was already taken captive in “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire,” and it looks like he’s going that route again.

The young star plays Nick, a surfer who visits Colombia, only to be taken in by legendary drug lord Pablo Escobar (played by Benicio del Toro and not Vinny Chase, sadly). At first it seems that the relationship is friendly: Hutcherson even says, “You said I was like a son to you.” But clearly by the end, things are not going to go well, as del Toro’s Escobar tells him, “No one escapes Pablo Escobar.”

First the Capital, now the most notorious drug lord of all time? Hutcherson’s gotta stop hanging out with the wrong crowd.

The teaser only offers brief glimpses into del Toro’s portrayal of Escobar himself, though he has the patented awesome mustache and accent which are synonymous with the drug lord. Escobar seems to also have more of a supporting role, a la Forrest Whitaker in “Last King of Scotland,” with Hutcherson’s character being the fish out of water through which the audience sees Escobar’s operation.

Will this be better than Vinny Chase’s “Medellín” (I swear, last “Entourage” reference)? Check out the teaser and let us know.

Weird Al Takes Down ‘Blurred Lines’ And Lyric Videos With ‘Word Crimes’: Watch

by 17 mins ago

Weird Al Yankovic’s first video of his promised “eight videos in eight days” thing took aim at Pharrell and people he thought were “Tacky.” His second music video has three targets: “Blurred Lines,” lyric videos, and bad grammar.

The comedy singer hits all three with “Word Crimes,” set to the tune of Robin Thicke’s 2013 summer anthem. The video’s a pretty incredible piece of animation, as Yankovic cautions viewers against common grammatical errors while punctuation marks bounce along to the beat like Emily Ratajkowski.

Weird Al himself doesn’t appear at all in the video, which is also a take-down of the lyric videos that have soared in popularity over the last few years, thanks to Cee-Lo Green’s “F–k You” video.

With so much happening in each frame, there are a bunch of Easter eggs you might not catch the first time — in the lyric “You’re a lost cause,” he uses the “Lost” poster with an ABC logo on the bottom right that says “Learn your ABCs, doofus.”

But maybe more than anything else, the song’s a great, catchy way to bone up on some grammatical rules you might have forgotten, railing against people who say “I could care less” and who use “literally” wrong.

Check out the video, and check back tomorrow for video three from the song parody master.

Watch This Supercut Of Basically Everyone Saying ‘I’ll Have What She’s Having’

by 23 mins ago

June 12th marked the 25th anniversary of the classic rom-com “When Harry Met Sally” (July 21 marks the date it opened in wide release). It was also the 25th anniversary of everyone’s favorite go-to movie quote, “I’ll have what she’s having.”

It’s probably the most famous line in a movie full of famous lines, made more amazing considering that neither Billy Crystal nor Meg Ryan said it. The punchline is actually delivered by director Rob Reiner’s mother, in possibly the most flawless one-off line reading in history.

Just how influential is that line? Well, it’s been an inspiration for dozens of TV show writers since the film came out, as evidenced by this supercut of shows referencing, paying tribute to, or parodying it. Everything from “The Muppet Show” to “One Tree Hill” to “Family Guy” put their own unique (or sometimes not-so-unique) spins on the line, with some shows, like “The Mindy Project,” quoting it more than once (“I’ll have whatever gave her an orgasm” says Danny Castellano).

So check out the supercut, tell us your favorites, and let us know of any we missed!

Here’s Why Keri Russell Felt Like An Idiot On ‘Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes’

by 51 mins ago

With Reporting By Josh Horowitz

Acting in a world of make-believe apes and people in grey monkey suits is enough to make anyone feel a little bit dumb and embarrassed, but did it make “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” star Keri Russell actually feel like an idiot?

“Definitely,” Russell told MTV News, though she clarified by saying, “I always feel like an idiot. I feel like an idiot going out to get the mail.”

The “Americans” actress also wasn’t used to working on a project just as massive as the sequel.

“The process is really bizarre, and I’ve never really been involved in anything of this magnitutde,” Russell told MTV News.

Russell said that after the dozens of takes they would do with Andy Serkis in his grey monkey suit, the take they ended up using was done completely without the motion capture actor. “I don’t care if he’s hugging you, I don’t care if he’s grabbing you, or you’re reacting to very physical things, you have to do it all yourself … it is crazy.”

But most disappointing for Russell was that one of her favorite scenes in the script, where she gets to hold a baby ape, was done mostly with movie magic.

“In reading it, one of my favorite things I was so excited to do was this thing with the baby ape. And in the movie I love that part.”

Unfortunately, there was no baby ape, and when Reeves told Russell to simply imagine it, Russell said, “Imagine, I ...

Reese Witherspoon Pushes Herself To The Limit In ‘Wild’ Trailer

by 20 mins ago

Reese Witherspoon’s new movie “Wild” is a journey in more ways than one.

The star optioned the rights to Cheryl Strayed’s memoir “Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail” before it was even published in 2010, and its taken four years to get from print to screen.

It’s appropriate, because Strayed, who Witherspoon plays in the adaptation, undertook a pretty long journey herself, walking 1100 miles in order to cope with her mother’s death.

Now we finally have the trailer to the film, and it looks pretty intense, as Witherspoon treks across beautiful but treacherous landscapes and flashes back to her life before. It doesn’t hurt that the movie’s directed by Jean-Marc Vallé, who last did “Dallas Buyers Club,” which earned Oscars for its two stars. Could Witherspoon be on track for another Oscar? Check out the trailer for “Wild” and let us know what you think.

“Wild” opens December 5, 2014.
