Kanye West’s Latest Rant Shows Why He’s Exactly Like A Porcupine

by 17 mins ago

By Maurice Bobb

Kanye West compared the intrusion of paparazzi in his life to rape — and managed to compare himself to a porcupine — during another rant at his second show at the Wireless Festival at London’s Finsbury Park Saturday (July 5).

Dressed in a black and white jacket and jeans with a silver-studded mask, the Yeezus MC took a detour during his performance of “Runaway” to offer an “explanation” for his altercation with photographer Daniel Ramos last year at LAX.

“Everybody needs a day off,” Kanye said. “Everybody out here likes sex, right? Sex is great when you and your partner be like ‘Hey this something we both wanna do.’ But if one of the people don’t wanna do that, what is that called? That’s called rape. That’s called violation.”

As smoke plumed from the stage backed by a large video screen showing cascading waterfalls, Kanye explained that he was a “mix between shy, lazy and a little bit arrogant.”

“Anytime I tell the truth when I get up here, everybody thinks it’s so crazy, right?” he asked. “And the media paint me as if I’m some sort of villain or like I’ve got a bad bone in my body. I’m really more of a porcupine or a blowfish. And the photos they always take is when that blowfish is blown up or when that porcupine is defending itself from the lies and control and the manipulation that you deal with if you are an artist. Sometimes, ...

Things Get Weird In Majid Jordan’s ‘A Place Like This’ Video

by 7 mins ago

By Maurice Bobb

Majid Jordan, best known for their contributions to Drake’s “Hold On, We’re Going Home,” served up a trippy new video Monday (July 7) for “A Place Like This,” from their upcoming EP of the same name.

The Common Good-directed clip follows a seeming dangerous infatuation between a man and a woman — with the visuals flashing intermittently to the OVO Sound duo—Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman.

After he appears to be comatose in bed, she goes back out to the party, only to find him on the dancefloor, with confetti rising instead of falling around them. Once in the bedroom, they both disrobe before her kisses cause him to pass out. Unable to resuscitate him, she just looks at him, longingly as the video ends.

A Place Like This is scheduled to be released on July 22.

6 ‘Game Of Thrones’ Spin-Offs We’d Kill To See

by 30 mins ago

By Kristy Puchko

Game of Thrones” has wrapped up season four, leaving us bereft for months on end. So in the interim, we demand something full of sex, violence, gravy and Drunk Cersei. To that end, we’re pitching a slate of “Game of Thrones” spin-offs that would help us all through the dark days until season five finally arrives.

HotPie

Hot Pie has gone from a big mouth nearly gutted by Arya Stark in season one to a plucky and talented little cook…with big mouth. A cooking show/talk show would be perfection for this chatterbox chubster. He could chat with Westeros’ big names while showing us all how to make much-improved Dire Wolf-shaped bread and gravy. Because of course, you cannot give up on the gravy!

RamsayMXEC

I’ll be honest. I was thinking of pitching a cooking show starring Ramsay and Reek. But sausage jokes aside, who’d want to watch that? More true to the character of the Bastard of Bolton would be an obstacle course show. Think “Wipeout” where instead of falling into pools of mud or bath suds, you fell into a pit of spikes or sharks. That’s really more his style.

KeepingUpWithTheTyrells

Not so long ago, the Lannisters were thought to be Westeros’ wealthiest house. But the war’s ravaged their coffers, and the Tyrells are living large in King’s Landing. A “reality” show following the scheming matriarch Olenna, the beautiful but duplicitous Margaery, pretty knight Loras, and dopey dad Mace would ...

It is the Fourth of July, after all, so while you’ll try to avoid getting salmonella from potato salad that’s been sitting out all day and make sure your little cousin doesn’t blow his fingers off with an M-80, we have more patriotic things in mind, like compiling the 17 most ‘America F–k Yeah!’ moments of the year so far.

It was a tough job, but someone had to do it.

1. U.S. Goalie Tim Howard
Sure, they lost a heartbreaker to Belgium on Tuesday, but Howard was a beast. USA! USA!

5. Iggy Azalea’s Homage To American Cinema
What’s more downhome, salt-of-the-earth American than “Fancy,” a music video made by an Australian rapper and a British singer inspired by a Hollywood studio film that’s based on a 19th-century English novel? Wait.

6. Apple Spends 3 Billie On Beats
What’s more American than Apple dropping $3 billion to acquire Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre’s headphone company? From N.W.A to 1 Infinite Loop Way.

Wiz Khalifa’s (Official) ‘We Dem Boyz’ Remix Is Here: Listen Now

by 17 mins ago

By Maurice Bobb

Wiz Khalifa got the fireworks started on Thursday night (July 3) when he finally let loose the highly anticipated remix to “We Dem Boyz.”

An unofficial version leaked earlier in the day, but the Pittsburgh MC has finally released the official track.

But since others have co-opted the term “remix” for the track, Wiz has elected to title his remastering of the hotter than heat rocks hit single, “We Dem Boyz Part II.”

“Real collectors get their art from the dealer,” Wiz tweeted, eschewing the unfinished versions that have leaked.

Unlike the original, though, this sonic second helping has a more relaxed vibe, with hip-hop heavyweights Rick Ross, Schoolboy Q and Nas serving up verses that are better than ribs and potato salad at a holiday BBQ.

First up is the Pittsburgh representer, who lays down the foundation with a stoner-laden rallying cry, “Hold up, hold up, we dem boyz/ Hold up, hold up, we makin’ noise.”

Next up to bat is Rozay, who passes the lyrical baton to Q, who takes the beat for a ride around the block before letting Esco weave quotable metaphors like a Savile Row seamstress.

“Understand I shine before y’all time, I been outside when T. La Rock invented rhymes/when dinnertime and BBS’s on tinted Saabs, was gettin’ robbed,” raps the Illmatic MC.

Running anchor leg, of course, is the Taylor Gang wizard of under-the-influence rhymes.

“Fresh up out a cell to the seats of private planes, roll at least an ounce a day, ...

Watch Selena Gomez’s Naughty Trailer For ‘Behaving Badly’

by 35 mins ago

By Maurice Bobb

Apparently, Selena Gomez has fully embraced her dark side.

First, it was the raunchy dramedy “Spring Breakers,” and now it’s the teens going wild comedy, “Behaving Badly.”

In the new trailer released Thursday (July 3), Gomez’s Nina Pennington is the object of Nat Wolff’s Rick Stevens’ desire and he’ll do whatever it takes to win her heart.

The clip begins with Stevens trying to catch up on his confessions. He thinks it’s only been two months since his last confession, but the priest (Jason Lee) enlightens him that it’s been over three years.

The video then flashes to the beginning when Stevens introduces himself to Pennington, only to be admonished by her ex-boyfriend as a “douchebag” who will soon be a dead man.

Meanwhile, Stevens has a cougar named Pamela (Elisabeth Shue) who is willing to, shall we say, teach him the birds and the bees.

When Stevens’ sister’s brothel/party goes beyond full tilt, Pennington wants to know, “Why are all these girls naked?”

From there, the police are called, a little person is electrocuted by a power line that was shot down and Stevens’ lawyer Annette Stratton-Osborne (Heather Graham) is called on to fix the legal mess.

“At the rate your family and friends keep going to jail, you should put me on a permanent retainer,” she says.

“Behaving Badly” toilet papers theaters on August 1.

The ’16 And Pregnant’ Moms Are Put To The Test

by 12 mins ago

By Lauren Mann of the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy

Do you need to be on birth control if you’re not in a relationship? Powered by Bedsider.org, the test pitted the girls and their boyfriends (or, in one case, aunt!) against each other to show off their birth control smarts. Think you can do better than they did? Cut It Out! Dave Coulier’s Wedding Was An Epic ‘Full House’ Reunion

by 27 mins ago

By Maurice Bobb

Dave Coulier finally has another full house.

The 54-year old comedian, best known for playing Joey Gladstone on the ’80s through early ’90s ABC sitcom “Full House,” married his longtime girlfriend Melissa Bring in Montana on Wednesday (July 2).

The happy couple’s nuptials were a veritable “Full House” reunion as Coulier’s former castmates Bob Saget, John Stamos, Candace Cameron Bure (DJ) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler) were all on hand to see “Uncle Joey” and his photographer/producer fiancée tie the knot.

Unfortunately, though, the Olsen twins (Mary-Kate and Ashley), who played baby Michelle on the show, did not attend the ceremony.

While the wedding was only open to family and friends, fans of the show were still treated to a glimpse of the big day via Instagram photos posted by invited guests.

“This boy is very happy today – know why? @dcoulier @melissabring,” wrote Stamos.

“Happy wedding day Dave & Melissa!!! I love you both SO much!!! @dcoulier @melissabring,” wrote Cameron Bure.

“Full hearts here at @dcoulier and @melissabring’s wedding. ❤,” wrote Barber.

“Stamos walking away with wood at Dave’s wedding,” wrote Saget.

Robin Thicke Opens Up About Paula Patton: ‘I Was Selfish’

by 1 min ago

By Maurice Bobb

Robin Thicke’s apology album, Paula, which is dedicated to his estranged wife, Paula Patton, was officially released for public consumption Tuesday (July 1), but there were still a lot of unanswered questions, the most important of which being why?

“The album is what happens when you lose the love of your life and you try to figure out in your head like, ‘How am I gonna move on?’” Thicke told Hot 97’s “Ebro in the Morning” show. “Because we weren’t together anymore, I had so much that I still wanted to apologize for and take responsibility for and that’s what the album is about.”

It was all good just a year ago, when Thicke’s single, “Blurred Lines,” rocketed to the top of the Billboard charts to No. 1. Unfortunately, the trappings of superstardom sometimes come with an exorbitant price tag.

“Last year was really just kind of a blur in many ways, no pun intended,” he said. “Everything happened so fast and you don’t realize all the things that come with it. I changed and I got a little too selfish and a little too greedy and a little to full of myself. At this point in our relationship, the only reason we’re not together is because of the choices I made.”

Those choices led to the dissolution of his nine-year marriage to his highschool sweetheart. It also led to an apology tour of sorts, with the lovelorn singer offering up songs like “Get Her Back” at ...
