Lena Dunham Wears Her Love Of Bill Murray On Her Chest, And So Can You

by 19 mins ago

As if I needed any more reasons to be jealous of Lena Dunham, she went and wore what might be the single most amazing outfit that’s ever been created–a matching t-shirt and leggings printed with miniature Bill Murray faces. Please excuse me while I go have a minor freak out.

Lena recently revealed her love of pasties and booty shorts, and although I’m sure she’d look 100% ~fab~ in those, her ode to Bill takes the fashion cake. Not only does the outfit look like the epitome of comfiness, the lil’ Steve Zissous that are dotted all over it raise my covet level from zero to a trillion million (approximately). I mean, if you’re going to wear a full on matching look, the theme might as well be Bill Effing Murray, right? Right.

Luckily for any fans out there (of Bill or Lena), the outfit can totally be yours thanks to the brilliant minds at Clashist. The Bill Murray Dot Tee is $55, and the leggings are $70, which is a small price to pay for looking like the coolest person in history.

If you’re a little skeptical of being able to pull off a head-to-toe Murray extravaganza, never fear—both pieces look just as good as separates as they do together.

Also, it’s wise to note that there is no wrong way to wear Bill Murray. Like, ...

Britney Spears Doubles Down On Her Vegas Residency

by 25 mins ago

Britney Spears is letting it ride. After kicking off her Britney: Piece of Me residency in Las Vegas last year, the singer has decided to keep the show right where it is at Planet Hollywood for at least another two years.

Spears, who reportedly pulled down $30 million over the initial 24-month run, confirmed the news during a weekend appearance on “Good Morning Britain” over the weekend. “The last time we chatted here on ‘Good Morning Britain’ to you, you just started that tenure,” host Richard Arnold said. “It’s been extended for another two years.”

“Yes, yes … yeah, I’m very excited,” Spears said, confirming that she’ll be working the stage in Vegas through 2017. Asked how she keeps up her stamina for the three weekly gigs, Spears said she has plenty of time to go back home and rejuvenate. “It’s a nice balance,” she said.

As for how she keeps her energy up when not chasing around her two skateboard-loving sons, Brit explained, “I love swimming. I swim all the time. I love going to the spas. I love cooking. I love studying with my boys and doing just normal things and stuff like that.”

Looking back now at her days of traditional touring, Spears said she wonders how she ever managed it the old-fashioned way. “How did I even do it? Going to a different city every day,” she said. “Being based in Vegas and having one show that you just keep going back to and the consistency ...

Has ‘Destiny’ Future Content Been Leaked?

by 1 min ago

By Clint Mize

Game developer Bungie has already announced two expansion packs for their smash FPS hit, “Destiny,” but it seems as if one eager player has discovered even more on the way.

While poking around in the game, YouTuber Scott M managed to activate a bug on the game’s galactic map, which revealed a number of currently inaccessible missions.

From the video above, you can see that the game will seemingly be adding a new raid on the Moon, along with two strikes on Earth and Mars. Additionally, the mysterious Reef will at last be open for some missions for Her Majesty, the Awakened Queen. It also, shows off the Iron Banner – a new multiplayer event hitting us sometime in October.

The stranger part? The names of these events echo what’s already been announced by Bungie. The DLC expansions: “The Dark Below” and “House of Wolves” are two names that have been floating around already. Given this news, some players have been vocal in their disappointment: was this content already on the released game, and if so, was it purposefully cut to sell more copies down the road?

This isn’t the first time “Destiny” has spoiled a few future surprises, either. During the game’s Beta testing in July, YouTuber DeathMiniHorse jumped into a completely new map while testing out the game.

The latest possible leak, though, is causing speculation to run high. Some fans believe this is tied to the upcoming downloadable content packs, while others think it might simply ...

Lorde Takes On The Capitol With New ‘Mockingjay’ Song: Listen Now

by 12 mins ago

Lorde isn’t one to do things plainly — so when we finally heard her soundtrack song for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1,” it was a spectacle.

“People talk to me and their voices just burn holes,” she sings on “Yellow Flicker Beat,” dedicated to our heroine Katniss Everdeen. “They used to shout my name, now they whisper it.”

The singer released the menacing track on Monday (September 29). It starts slowly, but in true Lorde fashion, it explodes in a chaotic chorus complete with a shrieking beat and an evil, distopian vibe — matching the Capitol’s crushing oppression and the rest of Panem’s frantic and dedicated struggle to break free.

Along with releasing the song, Lorde wrote a thank you note to her fans on Tumblr (read it; it’s real), celebrating the first anniversary of Pure Heroine‘s release. Of the “Mockingjay” track, she writes: “it’s my first offering from what i hope will be a soundtrack you love. it’s my attempt at getting inside her head, katniss’. i hope you like it.”

Lorde has been teasing the lyrics for the creepy track all week, writing on her arms and stones in anticipation for today’s release.

“Mockingjay” is the third installment in the “Hunger Games” series, and will be out in theaters November 21.

Miley Cyrus Recreates Sky Ferreira’s Naked Album Cover, And Now I Can’t Tell Them Apart

by 27 mins ago

Miley Cyrus and Sky Ferreira are buds, and, as we know, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, so Miley recreated Sky’s album cover in the shower. Because why wouldn’t you get naked in honor of your famous friend?

Miley has spot-on smudgy mascara, a demure facial expression and hair dripping wet. Here’s the non-nipple version of Sky’s album cover for Night Time, My Time.

Twinsies!

The two musical pals tweet each other all the time — the funniest being the time Miley’s little sister Noah didn’t understand Sky’s “Rachel” haircut.

Is Miley’s Sky impression on or off? Tell us in the comments!

Here’s The ‘Frozen’ Moment You Missed On The ‘Once’ Premiere

by 39 mins ago

The season four premiere of “Once Upon A Time” was chock-full of “Frozen” references, as promised. No, you didn’t get to hear anyone say “Let it go,” and there was no Olaf – but between Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and even reindeer Sven, there was plenty for fans to sing about.

But there was one “Frozen” moment that may have totally passed you by.

That’s because it didn’t involve Elsa, the giant snow-monster (you know, Marshmallow?) or anything from Arendelle. In fact, the moment snuck by because it instead was played out by two of the regular main cast members.

Here it is, and see if you can figure out the reference:

Once Upon A TimeABC

Did you get it? If not, you may want to build a snowman, because…

Do You Want To Build A SnowmanDisney

So it’s not a shot-for-shot remake or anything, and that’s what makes it more subtle than, say, the shot-for-shot remake of Anna & Elsa’s parents dying in the cold open. In this case, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) is trying to talk to a clearly upset Regina (Lana Parrilla). Emma goes to Regina’s office, rattles the doorknob, and says, “Regina, I know you’re in there.”

It’s a clear nod to the “Elsa, I know you’re in there,” lyric from “Do You Want To Build A Snowman;” as is Regina’s slumped over, crying position on the other side of the door, a parallel to how Elsa is ...

Pete Davidson Killed It On ‘Saturday Night Live,’ Says Everybody

by 40 mins ago

A lot of comedians — like, millions of them — spend decades hoping that “Saturday Night Live” will notice their talent. Pete Davidson graduated from high school just a few years ago, and he’s already being acknowledged as the long-running NBC show’s best new addition, thanks to his debut performance a couple nights ago.

Here at MTV, we already knew that Pete had a crazy bright future ahead of him. Over the past couple seasons of MTV2′s “Guy Code,” he’s delivered many of the funniest lines. Word got to “SNL” executive producer Lorne Michaels, and earlier this month Pete signed on to be a featured player.

So, how’d he do in his first bit? Dude killed it! Appearing on “Weekend Update” alongside new anchor Michael Che (another MTV vet), Pete mocked homophobia, pointing out that every guy has a price. “Pete, you must be gay?” he asked rhetorically. “No, I’m a businessman!” Watch the video below:

Everyone from “SNL” fans to TV critics called it the episode’s funniest moment — Just Jared even tweeted that Pete “stole the whole show tonight.” Here are other reactions from Twitter…

Young Thug Finally Released His ‘Danny Glover’ Video: Watch

by 3 mins ago

There’s no better time than now. Months after unleashing his breakout hit “2 B’s (Danny Glover),” Young Thug has finally dropped an accompanying visual for the track.

For the video, it looks like director Be El Be mixed a haunted house with a brothel for a slightly terrifying effect and, of course, there’s the Birdman cameo.

This release comes just days before the new Rich Gang mixtape arrives on Monday, September 29, featuring collaborations from Thugga and Rich Homie Quan, along with other members of the Cash Money family. Birdman recently explained why he teamed up with the two young Atlanta rappers for his latest project.

“They were already working on a project, them two, and I said, ‘Let’s do it together. Let me take it to the next level for y’all, ’cause I see y’all got the potential and the talent,’” he told MTV News. “I just thought by them being together, it would be a stronger impact and then they still can do their solo things.”

1D’s ‘Steal My Girl’ Is Here, And It Is Massive

by 12 mins ago

The wait is over, and it was totally worth it. After teasing the first single from their upcoming album, Four, One Direction finally dropped “Steal My Girl” on Monday (September 29). The full-song reveal shows that 1D are still in a very ’80s mood, thanks to a massive chorus that seems custom-made for stadium sing-alongs.

In fact, the majestic opening piano chords sound hauntingly like Journey’s 1983 road anthem “Faithfully,” before the gigantic drums kick in alongside lyrics about the ultimate teenage love. “She’s been my queen since we were 16/We want the same things, we dream the same dreams, alright, alright,” the story goes. “Her mom calls me love, her dad calls me son.” Alright? Alright?

Check it out on iHeartRadio.

And then the chorus comes crashing through like a giant pop hammer: “Everybody want to steal my girl/ Everybody want to take her heart away/ Couple billion in the whole wide world/ Find another one ’cause she belongs to me” they sing in perfect harmony before the “na na na na”s swell.

Though the song was slated for official release on Monday, it leaked on Sunday and Directioners were, of course, losing their minds instantly. (And pointing their fingers at Liam for possibly leaking it, since he was going on and on about how he couldn’t sleep.)

And, they were probably scrambling to figure out just who this girl is who makes everyone’s jaws drop when she walks in the room with ...
