Watch Jimmy Fallon Take Jared Leto’s Beard ‘Down A Notch’

by 23 mins ago

If you haven’t been keeping up with Jared Leto since the Academy Awards, one thing has changed: the hair on his face. While Jared has experimented with some interesting facial hair since he took home a golden statuette in March, he’s been letting his beard run wild on his face.

Last night, Jared was on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and he allowed Jimmy to trim his beard. You know, the same one he’s been growing for six months? Jimmy is very well equipped for beard-trimming up on the stage—he has a cape and different size clippers—and makes sure things are fairly even when he’s finished. If this whole hosting thing doesn’t work out, a future in the hair industry looks promising, TBH.

Jared seems totally comfortable throughout the entire process, giving double thumbs up, and even moving his face against the razor, instead of vice-versa. Between the way Justin Bieber applies shaving cream and this face movement, there seems to be a lot about men’s grooming habits that I know nothing about.

Watch the beard trimming sesh below and then help me figure out where all the hair went, please.

This Kid’s Teeth Look Like The Batman Symbol

by 24 mins ago

“Some are born Batman, some achieve Batman, and some have Batman thrust upon them,” Shakespeare kind of said this one time. For Reddit user cptnblck‘s nephew, Batman was almost certainly thrust upon him — right on his teeth, in fact.

At first glimpse this photo might look like your everyday, pre-braces kid’s smile, but when you really look at it, there he is — the caped crusader himself. (Or, at the very least, Commissioner James Gordon trying to get him to show up.)

Right between and under the upper and lower central incisors, in addition to the adjacent lateral incisors and cuspids, you can clearly see the Dark Knight’s famous symbol on display. I don’t know what this says about this child, his future, and the destiny of mankind itself, but I really hope this kid’s parents never, ever take him to the orthodontist.

Still don’t see it? Here…

Watch Jared Leto Get His Beard Trimmed On ‘The Tonight Show’

by 8 mins ago

Since winning his Oscar, Jared Leto has been growing out a powerful, respectable beard, but all good things must come to an end, I guess.

On the “Tonight Show,” Jimmy Fallon offered Leto some advice: that he needed to take his beard down a notch or two. Even though this sounds like the theory of someone who can’t grow a great beard and is burning with jealousy, Leto agreed with the late night host and allowed Fallon to take clippers to his face bush.

Check out the clip below!

How Can David Escape ‘Virgin Territory’ — And The Dreaded Friend Zone?

by 13 mins ago

What does it take for a gentle giant to get a little love?

On tonight’s “Virgin Territory” episode, David, a 19-year-old University of Utah student, shared his ongoing struggle to escape the dreaded “friend zone.” He pointed out that, in spite of his 6 foot 6 inch stature, he was socially meek, and the fear that manifested each time he was around a girl left him a virgin who’d never been kissed. In fact, he’d never even asked someone on a date. Rejection was a bitch, he noted, and he didn’t want to become familiar with it.

Still, David had hopes that things might work out with Cairo, his recent crush who, like he, was kind, gentle and enjoyed a good bounce in the local trampoline park. With the support of his friends Emily and Allison, who implored him to be bolder, David worked up the nerve to call Cairo and ask her to a sushi dinner. But as the night approached, he feared he’d never be able to ditch his timidity.

DavidTalk

When the big night finally came, David shocked himself by how forthcoming he was, and Cairo, responsively, met him halfway. “I feel like I can be myself with you,” she said. “We can do nerdy Pokemon things.” Still, a good-night kiss turned out to be too tall a task for David, and he and his dry lips were left wondering where exactly he stood with Cairo.

David has certainly made some progress, but Emily, ...

‘Teen Mom 2′ Poll: Is Corey Doing Enough To Get Ali’s Wheelchair?

by 42 mins ago

Leah was relieved when Corey finally seemed to accept the idea of their daughter using a wheelchair on tonight’s “Teen Mom 2,” but her optimism was short-lived when she discovered his insurance company still hasn’t approved the device.

The wheelchair has been a sore subject for Corey and Leah ever since four-year-old Ali was diagnosed with muscular dystrophy: The young mother, who witnessed her smiling girl’s first ride last season, believes it will ensure Ali conserves her energy and only help her in the long run. Corey, on the other hand, worries that the device will cause his offspring to not walk as much.

Regardless, Ali continued to practice using a loaner wheelchair — which doesn’t have the same capabilities as the one insurance will hopefully cover — and went to a physical therapy appointment with Corey’s dad Jeff. After seeing his granddaughter during the session, Jeff, who previously aligned with his son about the wheelchair, admitted to Leah that he had a change of heart and sees that the device will only help supplement Ali’s walking. He then told Corey that the visit with Ali went well and that the physical therapist made it clear that the wheelchair’s purpose is to help Ali get from one place to another — and not to use at all times.

The father/son conversation prompted Corey to tell Leah that he would like to take the loaner during an upcoming weekend visit to the zoo. She was pleased ...

T.I. Shares ‘New National Anthem,’ About ‘Being A Black Man In America’

by 28 mins ago

One day after speaking out on the “monster” America has created in his online treatise about Ferguson, Missouri in the wake of the fatal police shooting of Michael Brown, T.I. delivers the revolutionary new song, “New National Anthem.”

On the Skylar Grey-assisted track, the “No Mediocre” MC dives headfirst into socially conscious lyrics centered on racism and injustice.

“I know radio prolly aint gonna play this….but chopper going off in the hood man like Afghanistan or the Gaza strip somewhere man/Yeah, we here it so much we probably numb to it by now/After all, it’s the American way right?” he raps on the song’s intro.

The uptempo beat keeps military time while the Atlanta rapper waxes poetic about prison, crooked cops and other maladies affecting the black community.

“What the f–k you know about being a black man in America?” he asks.

What stands out, though, is the “Coming Home” chanteuse’s chorus, which is punctuated by Tip’s timely proclamations.

Home of the brave and free (It’s America)
Free just to murder me (land of the handgun)
Land of the beautiful (home of the shotgun)
Cursed by the hate we throw (You’re dead if you ain’t got one)
Is this the new national anthem (It was like this before I got here baby, I ain’t do it)
Is this the new national anthem (I ain’t start it, I’m just a part of it)

9 Times A Comedian Made Everyone LOL At The VMAs

by 11 mins ago

The VMAs are about music. We get it. The problem is that wall-to-wall music, with musicians thanking their producers in between, gets repetitive. Even if it’s really great music. That’s why comedians have been necessary to the show since it started in 1984. Let’s be honest, musicians aren’t always the best talkers, so comics poking fun at everything (and everyone) are great to keep the show moving. Check out our favorite funny moments are below, and no doubt this Sunday’s VMAs will have plenty of similarly entertaining moments.
