Mack Wilds Will Help You Dump Your Cold-Weather Boo

You won't find "cuffing season" on any calendar, but it's drawing to a close.

The logic is shallow, but simple: stay single through the summer and then figuratively handcuff a mate through the long and cold winter months. So what happens when the days get longer and you have to find a way to get back to being single?

The practice has become so popular that rapper Fabolous even wrote a song titled "Cuffin Season" on his The Soul Tape 3.

"There's no easy way to get out of cuffing season," Mack Wilds advised when he sat with MTV News on Thursday.

On his Grammy-nominated debut LP New York: A Love Story, Mack sings of finding and letting go of love. On "My Crib" Wilds finds love in the club and then eventually lets his fling down easy on "Keepin it Real."

"Can't be cuffed, no need copping a plea," he sings, after letting a young lady know: "We both know you'll never get a ring."

Mack doesn't have any fool-proof methods, but suggests that if you're going to let someone go, just let it be a clean break.

"Yeah you just gotta find a way, you have to find a way and hopefully you didn't do anything that makes those cuffs have to be permanent—if you know what I mean," he said. "Make sure that you're able to take those cuffs off."

Iggy Azalea’s The New Classic: 4 Songs You Have To Hear

It's been a long time coming, but Iggy Azalea has finally dropped her debut album The New Classic. The LP was led by the catchy singles "Work" and "Fancy," but there are still a few additional gems to be found throughout the course of 15 tracks.

"Change Your Life" feat. T.I.

Iggy gets some assistance from her Grand Hustle CEO, T.I., on this one, and who better for this feature than the man who also taught you how important it is to "Live Your Life." On the upbeat track, Iggy urges a guy to really upgrade his life, more specifically telling him to, "Hop out your past life/ And I'll renovate your future." Cause honestly, there's really no reason to even bother "dealing with basic bitches."

"F--k Love"

Ever have one of those days when you're really feeling yourself? So much so, that somebody should probably put a couple more mirrors in the room so you can stare at yourself? Iggy Azalea definitely has those days. That's apparent from the lyrics on "F--k Love," an ass-shaking number that's all but oozing with confidence. Sick of your boyfriend right now? Just send him this quick memo, "f--k love, give me diamonds."

"Black Widow" feat. Rita Ora

Iggy landed a feature from Roc Nation singer, Rita Ora, on "Black Widow" — but Katy Perry also worked her magic on the track, which captures the fallout when love turns sour. Perry was responsible for penning part of the hook (which is slightly reminiscent of her hit "Dark Horse), making it clear to a recent flame that, "I'm ...

Eminem, Outkast To Headline Austin City Limits Music Festival: See The Lineup

It turns out Eminem's big announcement Tuesday (April 22) wasn't that's got a line of cowboy hats coming out, like we hoped. But the alternative isn't so bad, either.

"DO-SI-DO now.. I'm at both weekends of @aclfestival -- Oct. 3-5 & Oct. 10-12! Get your tickets today at http://aclfestival.com/tickets ," the rapper tweeted, confirming (another one of our guesses) that he's headlining this year's Austin City Limits Music Festival.

As if the Rap God wasn't a big enough draw alone, the 13th annual ACL has plenty of other heavyweights on the bill that are sure to make it a top draw this fall. Outkast, who kicked off their unofficial reunion tour at Coachella ‒ which seems to hit just about every major festival for the rest of the year ‒ are also on board.

The festival features a diverse lineup beyond just hip-hop, too. Pearl Jam, Skrillex, Calvin Harris, Beck, Lana Del Rey and Lorde are among the other big names who will headline to the two-weekend event in early October.

Just a few months before heading to Texas for ACL, Em will be embarking on his Monster Tour alongside Rihanna, which begins August 7.

Tickets and more information about the Austin City Limits Music Festival available now at the official site.

Jason Derulo Takes The Celebrity Booty Challenge: Watch Now

If you liked Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty," well then get ready, because you're now going to be all about his next single "Wiggle."

The R&B star's track off his recently released album Talk Dirty, is once again an upbeat club-ready song that's all about a woman's "big fat butt."

"Hot damn it/ Your booty lights two planets/Go 'head, and go ham sandwich/ Woah, I can't stand it/ 'Cause you know what to do with that big fat butt," Derulo sings on the song.

It's clear that Derulo appreciates a good butt, which is why when he recently visited MTV News, we had him "Guess the Celebrity Booty." Make sure you watch the video to see if he could name some famous stars' behinds!

The main instrument on "Wiggle" may sound a little familiar to everyone, since the majority of you probably played it in middle school: the recorder. If you're wondering, Jason didn't actually play the recorder on the track — he told MTV News he "failed that class" — but promises the unique sound of the song will "make you twitch your ears."

However, the recorder isn't the only thing to make a cameo on the song; Snoop Dogg lends a hand and commands everyone to "shake what your mamma gave you."

"I actually saw Snoop at the [NBA] All-Star game... I was like 'Man I would love to do some stuff with you' and he was like 'Well, let's make it happen ASAP,' " Derulo explained of how the collaboration came together. "I was like 'I got this song called 'Wiggle' ...

T.I., Jeezy And Rocko Have Something Special On The Way

If there's strength in numbers, then a new project coming out of Atlanta should be awfully strong.

"I don't know when it's coming out, but you heard it here first: T.I., you got Jeezy, and you got told HipHopSince1987. "It's gonna be an album. It's gonna be those three guys. Stay tuned."

Whenever the project does drop, it won't be the first time that these ATL vets have made music together. Tip joined Rocko earlier this year on "P.I.M.P.," from Rocko's Lingo 4 Dummies mixtape, which followed up 2010's "I Can't Help It," from T.I.'s No Mercy.

Jeezy also linked with Rocko a few months back, with "Which 1 U Workin." He's worked with T.I. several times, spanning from his 2005 debut, Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101, to his most recent album, 2011's TM: 103 Hustlerz Ambition.

Though MLK didn't reveal much more than the mere fact that the wheels for an album are in motion, T.I. did hint at a possible joint project in an interview with MTV News in 2012. "I got a few albums that I'm workin' on: the Man and the Martian project with B.o.B; me and Jeezy been talkin' about doin' this project for a minute," the Grand Hustle founder said on "RapFix Live."

"It wouldn't take us long to do," he said. "We got records already in the can and it don't take us no time to put it together. It's just a matter of when they would be released. We got maybe 30 or 40 [percent done]. Between the two of us, ...

Ryan Lewis And Mom Team Up To Fight HIV

Ryan Lewis may not talk about it much in the public sphere, but his mother was diagnosed with HIV back in the '80s — a state of affairs that greatly impacted his life. Now, it seems, it's time for Lewis and his mother to take that experience and make an impact of their own — a positive one.

Lewis' mother, Julie, is launching a new campaign this week to commemorate her 30-year victory over HIV as well as the 30th anniversary of the discovery that HIV leads to AIDS: the 30/30 Project.

The campaign, which both Ryan Lewis and Macklemore promote in the below video, aims to bring healthcare facilities to areas that need them the most. The goal is to create a network of HIV/AIDS treatment centers that will be around for at least 30 years. The first center is set to be built — along with Construction for Change — in Malawi.

Staff will be provided by Partners In Health and funds will be procured via IndieGoGo and donations from fans and followers.

"A huge part of what's made me who I am is something I haven't talked about in interviews," Lewis said in the video of his mother, for whom he has an AIDS ribbon tattooed on his arm.

Julie contracted HIV after getting a blood transfusion following the birth of Ryan's sister, Teresa. Luckily, neither Ryan nor his other sister Laura — born before Julie was diagnosed — were born with HIV.

Despite Julie Lewis' diagnosis, though, she persisted. "You know what's amazing? My mom never died. She ...

Take Jennifer Lawrence Home With These ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past’ Toys

There's no doubt in anyone's mind that "X-Men Days of Future Past" will be one of the biggest movies of the year. But for a blockbuster movie that's part of a massive superhero franchise, things have been relatively quiet on the toy and collectible front — usually one of the busiest parts of the marketing push for a movie like this one.

Enter Diamond Select's latest entry in their Marvel Minimates line (Series 58), which MTV News is pleased to exclusively reveal today:

The Minimates are two inches tall, with 14 points of articulation and feature all the major characters from the time-traveling flick. Each comes in a two-pack (priced at $9.99), paired with another character:

» Future Professor X with Past Magneto » Future Magneto with Past Mystique » Future Wolverine with Future Storm » Past Logan with Past Charles Xavier

In the movie, two eras of X-Men unite to prevent a global disaster that threatens not just super-powered mutants, but all of humanity. The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy and pretty much every other major actor from previous entries in the franchise.

And the mini-figures Diamond Select has created in support of the movie aren't just adorable; they also feature movie accurate accessories like each Professor X's respective wheelchair — or rocket-chair, in the case of Future Professor X. The figures are designed and sculpted by Art Asylum, and will be available in stores soon.

"X-Men: Days of Future Past" hits theaters on ...
