Does Johnny Depp Need A Career Face Lift?

Mondays are no fun for anybody, and this week is the rare one where that sentiment also applies to Johnny Depp.

That's because the box office returns on the star's latest effort, the Wally Pfister-directed "

"Transcendence" is now the latest in a recent string of box office disappointments for Depp, whose name is usually associated with billion-dollar hits thanks to the "Pirates of the Caribbean" series.

Success away from Captain Jack Sparrow has been harder and harder to find for Depp, however. When "The Lone Ranger" flopped last summer, it made headlines, and by then it was the second failure in a row. "Dark Shadows" made even less than "The Lone Ranger," albeit on a smaller budget.

And "Transcendence" makes underperforming Depp vehicles a trend, so what gives? How did one of the most bankable stars in the world get beaten by a movie called "Heaven Is For Real"? To understand Depp's recent failures, it helps to look back at what made him a star in the first place, and what it would take to turn him around.

First, let's get one thing straight. Depp has not had his last hit. With "Through the Looking Glass" and "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" getting ready to head into production, he has two sure-fire hits in the chamber, and there's still "Into the Woods" set for Christmas this year. But making money isn't enough to fully fresh Depp's star persona.

It was always his oddness that separated him from the rest of the A-list crowd. Outlandish and other-worldly roles ...

Blue Ivy’s Adorable Pic With The Easter Bunny Is Better Than Stale Peeps

What's better than finding a hidden stash of jelly beans in your Easter basket? This picture of Blue Ivy meeting the Easter bunny.

Well, maybe not better secret jelly beans... but definitely better than stale Peeps.

Mommy Beyoncé posted some family photos of 2-year-old Blue on her Tumblr Monday afternoon — one of them including a giant, human-sized rabbit. And of course Lil' Carter had a rabbit-ear headband on to make the photo even cuter.

At first I was like... Wait, Bey put up new Tumblr pics?

Ummm, does anyone see this right now?

And then I was like... OMG guys, maybe we should keep this a secret.

Shield my eyes. I can't handle the cuteness.

Nooooooo. Why couldn't I be there?

I think I just died.

I'm just gonna eat all my feelings.

Byeee.

‘X-Men’ Producer: More Marvel Crossover Is ‘The Dream’

Well, Spider-Man is kind of a mutant, right? So maybe a cross-pollination with the "X-Men" franchise makes sense.

That's what Simon Kinberg, a producer on both "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and the upcoming "Fantastic Four" seems to think. In interviews from this weekend's WonderCon, Kinberg mentioned that he'd be more than open to the possibility of a crossover. We already know that the upcoming "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" will feature a post-credits scene starring our favorite band of (time traveling!) mutants when it hits theaters May 2, but Kinberg is gunning for even more. In an interview with ComingSoon, he responded enthusiastically when asked about a larger crossover.

"I would love it. The dream to me — I almost feel like Martin Luther King or somebody — I see a world where everyone is joined together," he said. "The dream is, obviously, one day to do a Marvel movie that is with all the Marvel characters or at least a universe where they can dive in and out of one another's films. Because that's the way the comics were created, I think that's the way the movies should actually be. For a series of business reasons, they aren't. That's not for narrative or creative reasons...

"We're not in competition with each other. We actually can be helping the cause for all these different movies. It's been shown that audiences have enough of a palate for them."

Meanwhile, Avi Arad, a producer on "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," is considerably cooler on the idea. In an interview with

‘Game Of Thrones’: Inside This Week’s Second Most Shocking Scene

On this week's "Game of Thrones," there was one moment so insane, so polarizing that the whole fandom was freaking out the next morning.

It was a moment not from the books, one that took a familiar character we had started to like and moved them to a point where we were once again utterly disgusted by their actions. Once this character did what they did, we didn't know if we could ever look at them the same way again.

We're talking of course about what went on in the totally gross scene where The Hound (Rory McCann) shot something green out of his nose while talking to Arya Stark (Maisie Williams).

"Oh my god, did you see that?" McCann said, laughing, when we asked the actor about the moment on the "Game of Thrones" red carpet in New York.

Williams also recalled the great snot incident, though not as fondly as McCann.

"It was disgusting, and I was dry-heaving throughout the whole day," Williams recalled. "It was awful."

Bu the question — the most important question — in the history of HBO's hit show remains: just what was in McCann's nose?

"I think the first one was real, and I can't believe I had to do that," McCann continued. "I don't know what it was, it was this green stuff that kept squirting out my nose. And the director kept going, 'More snot, more snot.' "

Williams, for her part, stayed consistent in being grossed out.

"And he was so loving it, too!" Williams said. "Like every take, really going for it. And I was like [retching ...

Kris Jenner Professes Her Love For Bruce Jenner On Their Anniversary

Despite their separation, Kris and Bruce Jenner apparently still have something to celebrate: their anniversary.

That's right — Kris, who has been separated from Bruce for six months, took to Instagram on Monday (April 21) to wish her estranged husband a happy anniversary.

"Happy Anniversary to one of the most amazing men I know!!!! I love you, Wow 23 years!!!!! #love#weareofficiallyvintage," she wrote in a caption of an older image of the two.

Kris wasn't the only one sending out well-wishes. Khloé, who is sparking her own dating rumors after being spotted out with rapper French Montana, also posted a vintage image of her mom and Bruce, along with the Kardashian and Jenner siblings.

"Happy anniversary to my mommy and my 2nd daddy!! I love you guys! 23 years and 10 kids later," Khloé said.

Kim was also quick to share "#vintage" pics of the couple.

During a recent health scare, Kris had Bruce by her side at the hospital with "internal pains." She and the former Olympic athlete were spotted together attending Easter Sunday church services.

The two have been spending quite a bit of time together in the past month. Following a family trip to Thailand, Kris and Bruce looked very much back together as they were photographed holding hands and smiling at Los Angeles International Airport.

After months of speculation that the couple were calling it quits, they announced their separation back in October 2013, claiming that they were "happier" being apart but were not ending their friendship.

‘Captain America’ Owns Easter Weekend Box Office

Captain America will have his hands full against both Batman and Superman in 2016.

But until then, the box office belongs to Marvel anytime one of its heroes hits the multiplex. "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" held on to the top spot over the Easter holiday, fending off "Rio 2" (for a second time), the faith-based "Heaven Is for Real" and "Transcendence," a big-budget flop from Johnny Depp.

Game-changing Marvel Cinematic Universe hit crossed $200 million at the domestic box office on Sunday, with a worldwide tally of $586 million. The Cap stand-alone sequel is just $5 million away from passing "Thor: The Dark World" at home, bolstered no doubt by the inclusion of Black Widow, Falcon, the popular villain name-checked in the title and a beefed-up role for Nick Fury. (The whole jaw-dropping Hydra plot certainly doesn't hurt either.)

Speaking of superheroes, grabbed $47 million overseas, a week ahead of its domestic debut. The second entry in Sony's reboot of the beloved webslinger series sets up a mini-Marvel Universe of its own, populated by characters controlled by the studio's old-school deal with the comic creators. Fox controls the mutants of the "X-Men" corner of the Marvel Universe, but the studio lent a scene from "Days of Future Past" to Spidey's end credits.

Disney may not control the Spidey franchise, but Marvel's corporate parent had plenty to be happy about over the weekend. "Frozen" climbed past "The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" and "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" on the all-time worldwide box-office chart, where it ...
