Big Sean Dubs Himself The ‘Black Brad Pitt’ On ‘Sanctified’ Remix: Listen Now

One of the standout tracks on Rick Ross' Mastermind album is the exquisitely produced "Sanctified," which includes a hook from Big Sean and a verse from Kanye West. And while Big Sean was happy to be featured on the song, he still wanted to drop an official remix to the track with Rozay's blessing.

The G.O.O.D. Music rapper Skyped into on Wednesday to chat with Rick Ross and Sway, revealing how the original track came together, and explaining why he needed to add some verses of his own.

"Me and 'Ye was in the studio working on a whole bunch of ideas and Rozay came in the conversation," Sean said. "And everybody know Rick Ross albums is events. So ['Ye] pulled a track up, and I was telling him I think it's a banger, it's a smash, and he thought we should give it to Rozay."

"Me and him wrote our verses on the spot and we sent it to Mastermind and he did what he did to it," he added.

During his Skype session Big Sean also announced that he was getting ready to roll out his own remix of "Sanctified," with a few new verses, and Rick Ross was all about it.

"I respect the OGs. The OG version and the album version — it's Rick Ross and Kanye, and I appreciate that look, that they let me bless the hook for 'em," he said. "But my foot on these dudes necks this year so I'm not letting up. I just had to make sure it came out. ...

Why Batkid’s Big Oscars Moment Didn’t Happen

Despite all the big wins and magic moments at Sunday's Academy Awards, Oscar night was a big disappointment for one small superhero.

Batkid, a.k.a. Miles Scott, the five year-old cancer survivor whose Make-a-Wish Foundation moment saw San Francisco transformed into Gotham City for one magical day last October, was meant to appear on the Oscars stage as part of a special segment in keeping with the show's "heroes" theme.

But his appearance was sadly cancelled the day of the awards, when presenter Andrew Garfield — who was set to introduce the tiny defender of justice — pulled out at the last minute. The mashup of movie clips meant to precede Scott's cameo was instead presented by "Captain America" actor Chris Evans, who apparently hadn't planned to attend the ceremony but was able to fill in on the fly.

As if this weren't heart-wrenching enough on its own, the Mashable report on the Batkid snub has a photo from the Saturday rehearsal for the awards shows Miles standing onstage amid a set designed to look like nighttime Gotham, with the word "BATKID" prominently featured.

To Garfield's credit, the actor would not have pulled out of the event for spurious reasons. Additionally, it's unclear why, given Evans was filling in for Garfield anyway that the erstwhile Captain America couldn't induct Batkid. As of this time, there has been no comment from the Academy.

By way of apology for the snafu, the Academy reportedly sent Batkid and his family to Disneyland instead.

Kim And Kanye Finally Pick A Date

Ah, springtime in Paris. After getting engaged in a major league ballpark, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are ditching baseball and hot dog for the Eiffel Tower and pain au chocolat. According to Us Weekly, the pair have set a May 24 wedding date in Paris for what sounds like a much more low-key affair than Kim's last trip down the televised aisle.

Few details were available at press time, but Kardashian, 33 recently told boss Ryan Seacrest that things will be different this time. "We're having a super, super small, intimate wedding," she said. "As we go along, we're realizing we want it to be smaller and more intimate than people are imagining and thinking."

Though spokespeople for the couple could not be reached for confirmation on the date at press time, People magazine also reported the May date, quoting an unnamed source saying it "won't be a huge wedding ... around 150 people."

As you might recall, West, 36, proposed to Kim on her 33rd birthday in October at San Francisco's AT&T Park
in a low-key event that was filmed for her family's reality show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." It's unclear if they will be filming the May wedding for a special similar to the one Kardashian made for her short-lived marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries.

The couple consider Paris their second home and back in January Kim told Jimmy Kimmel that they were definitely eyeing a summer date in the City of Lights
. Their daughter, North, will turn one less than a ...

#TBT: Drake Invites Us To His Velvet Bed In 2010

All this time, it was assumed that ladies loved Drake for his double-threat talent as a rapper/singer or his intensely passionate onstage performances with Jhené Aiko and Rihanna, but could it be that they really adore the Canadian superstar for his... velvet?

Back in 2010, MTV learned that Drizzy was indeed "Fancy" during the promotional run for his debut LP, Thank Me Later, when the "Started From The Bottom" MC showed off his rather grand and luxurious bed with its plush burgundy velvet bedding, which, according to him, was made from a very large flightless bird.

"Burgundy velvet on the bed you understand, 100 Moolah!" Drake said in a vintage interview with Sway Calloway. "Burgundy velvet...that's made out of a...that's burgundy! That's a velvet ostrich right there, only exist in Cambodia. Velvet ostriches, they burgundy in color. I made some bedsheets out of them right there, 100 Moolah!"

Moolah, of course, was a nod to his beloved record label Young Money and its CEO, Lil Wayne. The explanation for his bed, however, was just another case of Drake being Drake. Even then, when an unseen man threatened to interrupt the rapper's on-camera interview, it was evident how funny the man who calls himself the "light-skinned Keith Sweat" could be.

"This man just tried to walk across in the middle of a MTV interview," Drake said, giving the man off camera a faux disgusted look. "Man, you should be ashamed of yourself baldhead guy, you should be ashamed of yourself."

Now riding high on the success of his third studio album, Nothing Was ...
