From ’21 Questions’ To T.I.’s ’24’s’: Miley Cyrus And Mike Will Fit Right In With ’23’

Whether she’s twerking, licking things or straddling wrecking balls, Miley Cyrus is always primed to break the mold and step out of the music world-spun ordinary. Her appearance in Mike Will Made It’s newest video for however, renders her just one of the pack — the pack of videos featuring numerals, that is.

If you’re ready to call Miley out for lying about her age in the track, which also features Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J, you better bite your protruding tongue. The “23” in the song refers not to anyone’s age, but to Michael Jordan’s retired #23 Chicago Bulls jersey. The video features all kinds of high school-themed shenanigans, including an epic prank, pep rally and some serious rapping in Miley’s part. The number “23” also makes an appearance in the video — both on Miley’s modified jersey and in a lipstick scrawl on the girl’s room mirror.

To celebrate the addition of “23” to the numerically themed music video canon, we’ve assembled a list of our favorite number videos from 20-25. Check it out below:

“20 Years,” The Civil Wars
This Grammy-winning duo held a contest for the accompanying video to their numerically monikered jam. The winning video was created by South African production company, Innerview Productions, and tells the tangled story of a couple during the apartheid regime in South Africa.

“21 Questions,” 50 Cent ft. Nate Dogg
Fiddy gets all “cellblock tango” in this video for his query-laden jam about whether his lady still loves him. How many ways can she prove she loves him? We’ll give you one guess.

“22,” Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift parties like she’s, well, 22 in “22.”

“23,” Mike Will Made It ft. Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J
Twerking and Michael Jordan — they go together like… nothing we’ve ever seen before. Miley gets down in Jordan’s jersey in this Mike Will Made It video.

“24’s,” T.I.
In this T.I. video, the numerical value refers to particularly epic rims.

“25/8,” Mary J. Blige
We know, we know this jam’s title is technically a fraction, but Blige’s way of expressing her unending love (25 hours per day, 8 days per week) is just too good to pass up.
