Apparently Kanye West is still holding grudges after the recent round of radio interviews he did in support of his Yeezus tour. During a concert at Penn State University on Thursday night he went nuts with his rant, directly calling out radio personalities Sway Calloway and Charlamagne Tha God.
He cut “Testify” for another one of his overly passionate outbursts, which began with him acknowledging the 10th anniversary The College Dropout, and going on to spew some pretty insulting words.
“10 years of this sh–,” he yelled into the crowd. “If I go to a radio interview shut the f— up. Shut the f— up. If you’re on your talk show at nighttime, showing a picture of me walking with my girlfriend and sh–, shut the f— up!”
This continued for a couple of minutes, with the crowd joining him to sing bits of “Can’t Tell Me Nothing,” before he continued to yell some more. He threw a shot that seemed to be directed at Jimmy Kimmel for mocking his Zane Lowe interview, screaming, “2013, spoofing and all that sh–, trying to make a joke out of what we do. Shut the f— up! What the f— you do?”
When he got to the radio interviews, it got personal. “Everybody who f—in’ writing all that sh–, just to diss me and talk sh–, what the f— did you do?” he yelled. “Charlamagne, Sway… F— you did? F– these n—as names is? I am Yeezus.”
In November Kanye paid a visit to Shade 45’s “Sway in the Morning” show, where he lost his temper during a discussion about failed fashion endeavors, inspiring the popular memes “You Ain’t Got The Answers Sway” and “It Ain’t Ralph Though!”
Charlamagne, on the other hand was ruthless when “Kanye Kardashian” paid a visit to Power 105.1’s Breakfast Club in October, telling him point blank that he thought Yeezus was “wack.”
Sway hasn’t responded to Kanye’s outburst, but Charlamagne found it pretty entertaining, if his tweets are any indication.
