We all know how Miley Cyrus is spending her Valentine’s Day.
After weeks of teasing us with costumes, sets and merchandise, Cyrus is just a few hours away from kicking off her much anticipated Bangerz Tour on Friday (February 14) in Vancouver.
To make sure you are fully prepared, here are seven things you can expect from Miley’s Bangerz Tour.
1. It Might Make You Hungry
Last week Miley decided to give everyone a taste — literally — of what they can expect when she shared a photo of herself sucking her thumb and lying across a giant hotdog.
2. It Will Be Patriotic
Miley is definitely bringing the “Party in the U.S.A.” to her Bangerz tour. We know for certain that one of her many costumes — which were designed by Roberto Cavalli, Jeremy Scott, The Blonds and Marc Jacobs — will be a red, white and blue leotard complete with cowboy boots.
3. It’ll Be 4/20 Friendly
Miley has made it no secret that she which is why she’s bringing her love for the green leaf to the stage. In another picture released from rehearsal, the “We Can’t Stop” singer shows off her backside in a tight sequined ensemble as her back-up dancer dances on her dressed as a human-sized joint.
4. There Will Be Animals
Miley teamed up with “Ren & Stimpy” creator John Kricfalusi to help bring some of her visions to life. So what exactly is that vision? Oh, it’s just like a giant blue dog.
5. There Will Be Tons Of Swag
With Bangerz undies and “Marry Me Miley” T-shirts for sale, fans will definitely pick up some unique tour swag. However, the best part is, you might just get it for free. Just a word of advice, be on the lookout for falling objects.
“I’m a little bit of a hoarder, so I hope my fans become hoarders. I want to give them real things to collect. I’ll have things falling out of the sky that most people would sell at the merch table,” she told us of her tour. “This is my mom’s worst nightmare, because I always hoard things from when I go to concerts … all the kids always want to keep the confetti, but I want to give them real things to collect.” 6. It Will Be Educational
Sure, there will be twerking and tongue-wagging, but if you pay close attention, because you may actually learn something.
“I hope people open their minds and they look at my tour as something that I do feel is educational for kids,” Cyrus told MTV News. “Because I think a lot of people aren’t exposed to art enough and that’s something that I had to learn about. It wasn’t until I turned 21 that I wanted to learn because I’m from Nashville, that is not something that they care about they pretty much teach you everything in the world as black and white and I want my fans to walk away knowing more about the art that inspires me.”
7. Musical Change-Up
If Miley’s recent was any indication, then the “Adore You” singer will definitely be flipping the switch on her musical arrangements. In fact, she’s switching things up so much that even your dad is going to love it.
“Probably the most fun is getting to arrange these songs differently, because I don’t want it to be when you go to a pop girl show and it seems like someone pushed play on a record that’s no fun, for me,” Cyrus said. “My goal is to make dads look like they’re having a good time. If your dad has to go, like, make him not be miserable.”
6. It Will Be Educational
