Millennium Falcon Spotted On ‘Star Wars: Episode VII’ Set

It can make the Kessel run in 12 parsecs, but the Millennium Falcon apparently can’t evade the lenses of some lucky pilot photographers.

According to TheForce.net, Matthew Myatt, a flight instructor and pilot in Britain, was just taking some routine photographs (or, you know, as routine as photographs taken while flying a plane can be) when he stumbled on a slightly different type of vehicle:

That’s right. He was able to snap a pic of both the Millennium Falcon and an X-Wing from the set of “Star Wars: Episode VII,” which which was filming at the RAF Greenham Common. A different aerial photographer, Justin Reeves, confirmed when he tweeted a pic at a different angle, where you get a better look at the X-Wing in its hangar, and can see the half-completed Falcon at the extreme right:

I don’t know how they were able to keep everything in frame; I would’ve been shaking from the excitement of the discovery. But Reeves did one better, actually taking video of the set, which he posted on Youtube.

What better way to get pics of our favorite flying rustbucket than from the sky?

What do you think of the Falcon and the rest of the set? Let us know!
