Scooter Braun, Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande Offer Encouragement Following Bieber DUI Arrest

You are not alone. That was the message sent to Justin Bieber just hours after he was released from a Miami jail following his arrest
early Thursday morning on suspicion of DUI, resisting arrest nonviolently and driving on an expired license.

As you might imagine, manager Scooter Braun had a “long day” dealing with the fall-out from his most famous client’s latest brush with the law. “Bottom line is we are defined by how we handle adversity,” Braun wrote on Thursday night before turning in. “Be there when it counts.”

Through the trials and tribulations, Scooter said he will stand by his guy, because loyalty is job one. “@justinbieber love you and I will act in the manner of someone who truly cares,” Scooter said, adding that that is all he’s got to say on the matter. It remains to be seen what, if any, jail time
Bieber might do in the case.

Bieber has not yet commented on the incident, in which police said he appeared intoxicated and used profanity
while resisting their requests to comply with their orders after they stopped his rented Lamborghini for drag racing on a residential Miami Beach street.

Though she didn’t mention him by name, pal Ariana Grande also tweeted out a message of support. “Days like today remind us how much more compassion, understanding and tolerance we need to have for 1 another,” she wrote. “We’re all human and we all have great amounts of pressure on us. When someone’s hurting, be there.”

Lady Gaga knows all about people commenting on your personal business and making snap judgments on your character. Which is why she posted a message to Little Monsters (MonsterBeliebers, actually) asking them to cut JB some slack.

“I knew everyone today is talking about Justin’s arrest and all sorts of words and judgments are happening on the Internet,” she said. “Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and to stand up for themselves. But I think we should be supportive of Beliebers. They deserve, just like any other fan, to feel strong for each other and Justin so they can continue to share the bond they have through music. We may not understand everything celebrities do because there’s only so much we see, but Justin and Beliebers were ‘born this way’ too. Let’s spread love and compassion to Beliebers today. That is what we are all about.”

She also asked Monsters to help spread the hashtag #MonstersSupportBeliebers.

While music mogul Clive Davis
offered some sage advice and fans are still divided
over how they feel about Justin’s scrape with the police, one of Bieber’s inner circle, rapper Lil Za, was the first to offer his unequivocal take on his friend’s arrest.

“He’s fine,” wrote Za, who was arrested on drug charges recently following a raid on Bieber’s California home in search of evidence in an egging incident on the singer’s neighbor. “Nobody’s happy. Nobody thinks it’s a joke.”
