Shia LaBeouf’s Broadway Arrest: Details Emerge

After Shia LaBeouf was arrested on Thursday night for being “disruptive” at the Broadway show “Cabaret,” more details are emerging on what exactly “disruptive” entailed.

The actor was released from jail early Friday morning after he posted $2,500 bail, pleading not guilty to five misdemeanor counts of trespassing, disorderly conduct and harassment. But eyewitness accounts have emerged suggesting that LaBeouf he was very intoxicated and disruptive during the show.

According to a criminal complaint obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, LaBeouf stood up in the middle of the show and yelled at the actors onstage. After being escorted out, the arresting officer claimed that LaBeouf spat at his feet and told him, “F— you. This is f—ing bullshit. Do you know my life? Do you know who the f— I am? Do you know who I am?”

Eyewitnesses told reporters that LaBeouf was indeed “quite a mess” during the show, saying, “He had a torn shirt, he had a cigarette, he was blending into the crowd, trying to and chasing bums and craziness.”

In a video obtained by Page Six from earlier in the day on Thursday, LaBeouf is seen chasing a homeless man in Times Square, and TMZ reported that he had been day drinking before the show, since at least 1 p.m.

The actor’s next court date is July 24.
