Tyga And Lil Durk’s Rap Beef Really Escalated Quickly

Tyga isn’t really known for his rap beefs, but the YMCMB spitter isn’t going to let Lil Durk‘s latest dis go unanswered either.

On Saturday, Meek Mill, Shy Glizzy and Durk released a new track, using Nicki Minaj and Lil Herb’s dark and bassy “Chiraq” beat. Over the murderous instrumental, Durk aimed a few bars at the Young Money rapper spitting: “Heard Tyga sneak dissin’ on me, tell them thot bitches I’m not right/ Tyga only got one name, but that n—a ain’t got one stripe.”

The very next day, T-Raww hopped on Instagram and dropped a 15-second snippet of his response. “Who the f–k is Lil Durk?/ I dust you like ashin’ purp,” he rhymes over the same “Chiraq” beat.

It didn’t take long for Durk to respond, sending shots on Twitter shortly after Tyga’s audio surfaced. “Everytime a n—a rap beef he get clapped up in a couple weeks ig comments and a couple tweets Location on we can go and meet #chiraq,” he messaged on the social networking site.

According to Durk, the whole beef started after Tyga previewed a song that Durk recorded with Chris Brown and French Montana titled “Get That Money.”

On the track, Durk spit a line about Tyga’s lady Blac Chyna, a line that Tyga took some offense to and asked Durk to change. The Chicago rapper says he agreed to make the change only if Tyga did a collaboration with him, a condition Tyga accepted. Durk, however, began to get annoyed after the “Rack City” rapper stopped returning his text messages about their promised collaboration.

“I think he just told me that so I could just change it and I caught on to what he was doing, so I turned up on him,” Durk told XXLMag.com. “He thought I was going to change the song before he sent [his] verses. Everything was everything until he started to try and spin me.”
