Want ‘Game Of Thrones’ Premiere Sooner? You Might Want To Head To Brooklyn

King Joffrey is coming to Brooklyn.

No, the
teen despot isn’t looking for the hoppiest IPAs and artisanal hot dogs. He’s schlepping the Iron Throne to the borough to give 7,000 fans a sneak preview of season four of the HBO juggernaut.

The kick-off of the highly anticipated fourth go-round of the hit fantasy series will be revealed on March 20 at the arena on a stadium-sized screen, two weeks before it hits screens on April 6. Tickets for the special screening go on sale on Thursday for $15, with proceeds going to charity.

In addition to finally finding out what’s going on in Westeros, the “Epic Fan Experience” screening at Barclays will include props, costumes and photos from the show as well as photo ops on the Iron Throne. No spoilers, though, so if you score a ticket, be prepared to check your smart phones or other devices at the door until after the preview.

After a too-long wait, the upcoming season will take on the second half of the third book in author George R. R. Martin’s “A Song of Fire and Ice” series, “A Storm of Swords.” The recently released 15-minute trailer
previewed the addition of the new character Oberyn Martell, the Red Viper of Dome, and we also found out the titles of the first four episodes.

The season will begin with
which is expected to see the destruction of the great sword Ice, which was previously broken down and turned into two swords, with one going to King Joffrey and the other to Jaime Lannister.
