Watch Disclosure’s ‘F For You,’ And Prepare To Dance Like It’s 1987

As if the hypnotic vocals and kinetic instrumentation of Disclosure‘s “F for You” didn’t already get your feet tapping, the just-released video for their Mary J. Blige collaboration makes it impossible to stay still.

Apart from being laced with the dance-music duo’s signature face art, the five-minute video is really all about the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul. It’s a clip that looks like it came straight from 1987 — A-ha’s “Take on Me” comes to mind — from Blige’s leather jacket, the artwork that flashes behind her and the “When Doves Cry”-esque way Guy and Howard Lawrence play the keyboard.

The guys surprised everyone at New York City’s Terminal 5 this weekend when they brought Blige out onstage to perform the hit. And if it was anything like the video, then it sounds like we missed out on one hell of a party.

And while Mary is quite a get for such a new act, when MTV News caught up with the U.K. duo recently, they admitted they wanted a little more hip-hop on Settle.

“I’d say for the album, I’d love to have gotten a rapper on the album,” Howard said, “which is why we’ve got a song on there like ‘When A Fire Starts To Burn.’ We just couldn’t find a rapper in time, so we just did the best we could and downloaded a load of spoken-word stuff and cut it up to make it sound like rapping. But in the future, we’d definitely like to work with a rapper.”
