Watch Ed Sheeran Play Lindsay Lohan In This ‘Mean Girls’ Reenactment

Who doesn’t love a good reenactment?

Amber Rose, for one, is obsessed with the cult-classic 2004 flick so much that she gathered Iggy Azalea, Waka Flocka Flame and Ed Sheeran to remix the unforgettable telephone scene for a new 60-minute series that pays homage to the 1990s and 2000s and officially kicks off on Saturday, February 1 at 2:30 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.

Every afternoon this week, through Saturday, MTV viewers can catch previews of some hilarious “Retromania” segments. They’ll air in between the network’s programming lineup, including the fan-favorite series “Run’s House.” The launch week will culminate with the one-hour special, “Retromania: Hip Hop.” Celebs from 2 Chainz to Mac Miller and the Backstreet Boys to One Direction are all getting in on the action.

Watch MGK Make Sweet Love To An ‘American Pie’

On Monday, we saw MGK make love to an apple pie in homage to the 1999 flick “American Pie.” And on Tuesday (January 28), it was Amber’s turn to take a crack at some throwback theater.

“I love ‘Mean Girls’,” she declares in a new “Retro” clip. “I was like the super nerd in high school. I got picked on a lot and after watching that movie, me and my friends, we kind of make a joke out of it.”

Rose took the remake super seriously and, we must say, casting redhead Ed Sheeran as Lindsay Lohan’s Cady Heron was an excellent choice. So what happens when Amber and company play the roles of Gretchen, Regina, Cady and Karen? You have to see it to believe it.
