Watch Shirtless Tom Hiddleston Thrust In His ‘Thor’ Audition

Your Tuesday just got a whole lot better, or at least a whole lot more shirtless Tom Hiddleston. Which, in my book, yeah, better.

Hiddleston, who has won hearts (and MTV News’ Real Sexiest Man Alive award) with his portrayal of the villainous Loki in “Marvel’s The Avengers” and most recently “Thor: The Dark World” actually first auditioned for the hero role in those films.

As he told MTV way back in 2011, the contract he signed before his final audition said that he could be cast as either Loki or Thor.

“Hmm, even though my wig is blonde, I’m not sure it’s going to end up that way,” Hiddleston said he remembered thinking during the screen test.

Well, behold: aforementioned blonde wig. Oh, and Hiddleston’s shirtless body. And some major hammer thrusting, if you know what I mean. (It means he’s thrusting a Thor hammer, duh.) Suffice to say, you will wig out.

So far, all fans have of this screen test are the above GIFs, via Superheromovienews, but the great news is that the full screen test will be included on the home release version of “Thor: The Dark World,” due out February 25. Enduring the next 29 days without the full version of this will be a struggle, but while we’re counting down, at least we have this everlasting loop of Hiddleston’s pectorals (Hiddlepecs) to tide us over.
