Diplomatic Immunity 3 has become something of a musical urban legend. Cam’ron, Jim Jones and Juelz Santana all appear to be on the same page, doing shows and posing for Instagram pictures together, but when the topic of their long-awaited reunion album comes up, information gets sketchy.
The last time MTV News spoke to Cam in October, Killa wouldn’t commit to a time frame, saying that each member had his own personal business to attend to.
“The wait is not long, trust me, I’m tired of waiting, too. It’s coming,” Jim Jones told Hot 97 personality and big time blogger Miss Info, in a video interview which she posted to her site on Thursday (February 13).
Former Roc-A-Fella CEO crashed the interview adding that there are “always” conversations about the group album amongst the crew. “Actually I kinda f—ed up yesterday because Cam told me to come to his house to do some music yesterday, but I hit him like 4 in the morning on my Vampire sh–. I think he had to get some rest to get here,” Jim said, alluding to Mark McNairy’s New York fashion show that Killa appeared at earlier this week wearing a stunning cape.
Jones wouldn’t give us a date, but did confirm that the group’s principle members were working. They have settled all of their differences and announced their reunion in 2010. “I was in studio actually with Juelz before Cam hit me,” he said.
