Demi Lovato is in love. Like, over-the-moon, can’t get enough of it love.
How do we know? She told us on Instagram when she posted a series of selfies with on-and-off boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama in which she praised him for helping her get through the “darkest moments” in her life.
“To the funniest, most inspiring, incredible man I know,” Demi wrote to Wilmer on his 34th birthday. “You truly are a light to this world and to my life.”
The lovefest, of course, set off some speculation that the pair were possibly making it official, which wasn’t helped by another shot Demi posted on Wednesday, in which she appeared to be wearing an engagement ring.
A spokesperson for Lovato told E! News that the ring was just some casual bling, though, not a sign of a pending big day.
Regardless of how official they’re making it, Wilmer returned the love, telling Demi, “@ddlovato who needs presents when the gift is real to us all.”
Not only does Lovato have the love and support of Wilmer, but the new issue of Seventeen magazine named her and pal Selena Gomez two of Hollywood’s “Most Powerful Girls Under 21.” While dubbing Gomez “The Mogul” for her acting/singing career and sidelines in clothing design, a movie production company and gig as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador, Seventeen called Lovato “The Cool Chick” for her continued support of girls suffering from self-harm and addiction.
