‘Man Of Steel’ Exclusive Clip Coming To MTV!

Just before lands in theaters this Friday, MTV is giving fans an early look with an exclusive clip this Thursday.

It all starts at 7:56 p.m. ET, when the clip premieres on air and online. Directly afterward, MTV News' Josh Horowitz will sit down with actors Henry Cavill, Amy Adams and Michael Shannon, as well as director Zack Snyder for an in-depth, extended interview available exclusively at MTV.com.

The cast and director will then reveal behind-the-scenes information about the iconic hero's latest film adventure and answer fans' questions. You can get in on the action by submitting your own questions on Twitter to @MTVNews, using the hashtag #MTVFirst and #AskSuperman.

is on track to see its box-office totals soar, as the film's trailers hint that this could be the Superman film his loyal fans have waited decades to see. 2006's Bryan Singer-helmed "Superman Returns" failed to meet expectations, and the Kryptonian's previous two films, "Superman III" and "Superman IV: The Quest for Peace," have not aged well since their late '80s releases.

The new film reboots Superman back to his roots, last explored onscreen in 1978's "Superman." MTV News spoke to Dylan Sprayberry, the actor who brought teenage Clark Kent to life in the new film, and found out what it was like to portray an icon.

"I think a lot of the percentage of young boys when they are growing up want to be a superhero. I know I did. I would put a towel on my back, run around, and across my couch and try to practice flying ...

Emblem3 Were ‘On Cloud Nine’ Making ‘Chloe’ Video

It looks like Emblem3 might just have what it takes to be the next big pop stars.

On Friday, the former "X Factor" contestants performed their brand-new single, on "Good Morning America," and in less than a week, the music video for the single (the band's first clip) received more than a million views on YouTube. Pretty impressive for guys who were relative unknowns this time last year.

The video for "Chloe" shows off the trio's SoCal vibe but delivers a strong message. When they recently stopped by MTV News, they admitted that the clip brings the song to a whole new level.

"I loved the video — it made the song really cool," Wesley Stromberg said. "That whole day we were on cloud nine."

The group, composed of Wesley, his brother Keaton Stromberg, and Drew Chadwick, shot the video, which was directed by Ray Kelly, last month in Los Angeles. The clip focuses on a series of shy girls, outsiders to the popular crowd, who pass along buttons that say "I'm a Chloe."

The buttons encourage them to realize that inner beauty is what counts. The video ends with all the Chloes coming together for an Emblem3 show.

"When we were onstage with the whole crowd scene, that was cool because everyone was bumping and jumping and rocking out to the song," Wes said.

But as much fun as that was, the guys most enjoyed the scene in which they were able to let their inner rock stars out.

"My favorite scene is when we were trashing the dressing room," Wes said. ...

Rick Ross Set To Give Mastermind A Soulful Vibe

Like any true boss, Rick Ross is cunning and calculated, so when he announced his upcoming sixth studio album Mastermind with a cinematic trailer at the top of the year, every detail was deliberate.

The two-minute, 45-second clip is set to the soulful melody of Curtis Mayfield's 1972 classic "Give Me Your Love (Love Song)," giving fans a hint of the new album's sonic direction.

"That's most definitely the feel and that's why I made sure I wanted to open at the top of the new year," Rozay told MTV News on June 3, when he and his MMG team sat with us to discuss the release of their upcoming Self Made, Vol. 3 compilation. "I wanted to make that clear for the ones that paid attention that that's most definitely my vibe."

It's a sound that Ross began tinkering with on "Pots and Pans," a deep album cut from his first album, but one that he really began to become known for on his 2009 Deeper Than Rap LP with songs like "Magnificent" and "Valley of Death." With last year's God Forgives, I Don't, Rozay seemed to perfect his sound on "Amsterdam," with producer Cardiak delivering a rich and soulful 1970s-inspired beat to rhyme over.

Ross says we can expect that sound to make up at least some of his album, but he never knows where his creative bounds may lie. "I love making those kind of records, those 'Cigar Music' records, those 'Amsterdam' records, and that was most definitely the energy, but I record so much material — we ...

Kelly Clarkson Gets Ready For Married Life On ‘Tie It Up’

Kelly Clarkson is not only ready to walk down the aisle in her real life, but on her new single as well. On Saturday the singer took the stage at the CMA Music Festival in Nashville, where she debuted her brand-new country-tinged track, "Tie It Up."

On the feisty tune, Clarkson proposes that she and her man, well, tie it up and marry one another. She sings, "Let's set the date/ Let's hire a band/ Let's cut the cake/ Tie up the cans ... Every wall needs a frame/ Every ball needs a chain/ I'm talkin' about tying the knot/ Tie it up."

While Clarkson has experimented in the world of country music before, this single veers more in that lane than her previous releases. During her set, the singer reportedly told the crowd that she was nervous to preview her new, twangier sound.

"This is my first official set at a country ... thing. I've been nervous all day because I wanted to be good for you!" she said during her set at the LP Field. "I'm secretly freaking out right now about where my ring is. I know Brandon is having a heart attack. Sorry baby, I love you! I got nervous about tonight so I probably took it off while doing something."

She also posted the art for the track on her Instagram. It features Clarkson in wedding attire, her left arm tied with rope to her significant other.

Clarkson announced her engagement to talent manager Brandon Blackstock last December.

‘The Purge’ Shocks Box Office With $36.4 Million Debut

Sometimes in Hollywood, smart concepts and high profit margins will trump big budgets and big stars.

June kicked off with Will Smith flaming out in the critically reviled vanity project, (which paired him with his son, Jaden) in an effects-heavy sci-fi story under the direction of big name director M. Night Shyamalan. This past weekend, the box office was dominated by a micro-budget movie, which clobbered another pair of A-list actors.

from the same producer as the "Paranormal Activity" series and "Insidious," was made for just $3 million but managed to debut at #1 with $36.4 million, beating even some of the highest industry expectations. The story about a future where people are allowed to break the law for one day a year became the largest opening ever for Ethan Hawke, as Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson saw their poorly reviewed "The Internship" open at #4 with $18.1 million.

The opening was significantly higher than Hawke and producer Jason Blum's previous collaboration, "Sinister," which was released in October of last year. "The Purge" usurped last year's similarly micro-budgeted as record holder for largest opening of an R-rated horror movie that wasn't a remake, a sequel or an adaptation.

Vaughn and Wilson were a blockbuster team in the well-reviewed R-rated comedy "Wedding Crashers." Going into the weekend, The Onion joked that "The Internship" was "poised to be the biggest comedy of 2005." With its bad reviews, bad buzz and lackluster opening, the Google-centric PG-13 comedy won't make anywhere near the $209.2 million made by "Wedding Crashers" back ...

The Wanted Welcome Nathan Sykes Back Onstage After Vocal Surgery

The Wanted had a huge surprise for fans during their set at the Summertime Ball Festival in London on Sunday: the return of Nathan Sykes.

The 20-year-old singer has been missing-in-action since undergoing vocal cord surgery in April, and the rest of the boys made it sound like it was unclear when he would return during a late May appearance
on the E! talk show "Chelsea Lately," when they said they hadn't spoken to him in several months.

But, taking the stage in front of 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium, Sykes appeared back in form, though he told British reporters afterwards that he's yet to finish his vocal parts for the group's next album after suffering what was reported to be a hemorrhaged vocal cord. According to reports, after the Wanted ran through a set packed with hits, Sykes came out to sing his solo on the single "I Found You," to the delight of the sold-out crowd.

Manager Scooter Braun was psyched to see the boys back together, tweeting, "That was incredible!!! @NathanTheWanted I'm very proud of u. U worked hard and that was an amazing surprise and ridiculous solo!! Well done!"

It was an emotional moment for Sykes as well, who wrote, "Thanks for all the love today. Really put a smile on my face."

The
singers have been giving fans a sneak peek at their private lives on the E! reality show
including how they've been faring while waiting to see how Sykes recovers from his surgery.

Kings Of Leon To Unleash ‘Mechanical Bull’ In September

It sounds like Kings of Leon are getting a bit playful on the follow-up to 2010's Come Around Sundown. The group's sixth studio album, Mechanical Bull, is due out on September 24, according to Billboard magazine.

In fact, KOL were all set to announce the details of the release during their headlining set at the Governors Ball Music Festival on New York's Randall's Island on Friday, but their headlining gig was washed out
due to the soggy aftereffects of Hurricane Andrea. Their set was rescheduled and slipped into Saturday's line-up, just before headliners Guns N' Roses. They will spend most of the summer on the road in Europe playing a succession of major festival dates.

Appropriately, the lead single from the album is reportedly titled "Super Soaker," and is due out mid-July. The album was recorded with longtime producer Angelo Petraglia. Earlier this year, bassist Jared Followill told England's NME that he was surprised by the sound of the new music. "I thought we were going to make a really mature album but I'm amazed how youthful it sounds. It's like a mix of Youth & Young Manhood and Because of the Times." The band debuted the surging new rock song
at a California festival date in May.

The new effort is the first from the group since an onstage meltdown
by singer Caleb Followill in July 2011 forced them to cancel the rest of their U.S. tour due to what was described at the time as "vocal issues and exhaustion." Jared Followill ...
