Snoop Calls Miley Cyrus ‘One Of The Greatest Musicians Of All Time’

Miley Cyrus' evolution is a work in progress, and she can add another ally to her star-studded support team. Snoop Dogg, who Reincarnated himself as reggae artist Snoop Lion after 21 years in the game, called Miley one of the "greatest musicians and personalities of all time."

On the red carpet for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, Snoop shared that his new track featuring Cyrus, was such a good fit because both artists are turning over a new leaf, as it were.

"It's basically what we are both going through right now," he said, before introducing Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' performance at the main show (in a cloud of smoke, of course). "We're both going through transformation, we both love making music and doing what we do and speaking from our hearts, and it's just a great collaboration."

With lyrics such as "Now my buzz is gone and I need to re-up on reality/ Can't let them see me weak/ I need to pause on it/ Is there any possibility that everyone feels like me?" it seems like Miley is certainly going through some growing pains. The new song will be on Snoop's forthcoming album, though Miley has been in the studio working with everyone from Tyler, the Creator to Pharrell Williams on her next project as well.

Tha Doggfather had some fatherly love for Miley, who has taken a lot of heat recently. The press won't cut the girl a break over her allegedly rocky romance with fiancé Liam Hemsworth, but Snoop called himself a fan of ...

Macklemore ‘Grateful’ For Movie Awards, But C’Mon, ‘No Lifetime Achievement’?

Given the success of "Thrift Shop," Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are destined for the kind of stardom that eliminates the need to, well, be thrifty. But even after a showstopping performance of "Can't Hold Us" at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards, the rapper told MTV's Josh Horowitz that the newfound fame he and partner Ryan Lewis have earned is still a little overwhelming.

When asked about his experience at the awards ceremony, Macklemore (whose real name is Ben Haggerty) seemed disappointed he didn't come away with a statuette. "No lifetime achievement award? It wasn't my year," he glumly joked. "But for the first time on a red carpet tonight and performing here, it was very surreal, man. I'm extremely grateful."

"It was a lot of fun," Macklemore confessed. "You know, it's one of those moments."

Horowitz' conversation with Macklemore was interrupted briefly when Movie Awards host Rebel Wilson walked by, still clad in her . Wilson offered her congratulations to the performer as she raced to her dressing room to get out of costume. "There's a river of sweat running down my legs," she disclosed. "This Iron Mangina suit is ridiculous. But great performance — it was really cool."

Seth Rogen Made Zac Efron’s ‘Dream Come True’ On ‘Townies’ Set

We've seen sing-songy Zac Efron, serious Zac Efron and romantic Zac Efron. But funny Zac Efron — is that really a thing? Comedic authority Seth Rogen, co-star in the new film "The Townies," says Efron's latest turn will leave audiences impressed.

In the movie that Seth calls a "really dirty comedy," Zac plays a rowdy frat boy whose behavior interferes with Seth's life as a regular family man. MTV News stopped by the set during Sneak Peek Week and discovered that an impromptu shirtless scene seemed to provide quite the bonding experience for the two fellas. If Zac's getting a head start on campaigning for next year's Best Shirtless Performance Award, he clearly has Seth's vote.

"I had to stand shirtless next to Zac Efron all morning," Seth said. "He literally has the best body I've ever seen on a human being ever in my life. We literally had to write in to the scene that I couldn't keep eye contact with him 'cause I kept just like reaching out and touching his body like I was seeing some magical mirage or something like that."

See the happiest celebs at the MTV Movie Awards.

Oh yeah, Seth also mentioned that Zac was "hilarious" and "really funny" in the film. And Efron had high praise for Seth as well, but oddly enough, didn't seem quite as excited about shirtless Seth. After Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, where he may or may not have been assaulted by host Rebel Wilson, Zac said it was a "dream come true" to work with Seth ...

Karlie Kloss’ MTV Movie Awards Red-Carpet Gig, In Her Own Words

Karlie Kloss is an international supermodel and Victoria's Secret Angel, and on Sunday, the 20-year-old added another bullet point to her résumé when she served as red carpet host for the 2013 MTV Movie Awards pre-show. Karlie has walked plenty of red carpets, but the hosting role was a whole new world.

The pressure was on for the live show, but thankfully, she had veteran correspondent Josh Horowitz to help her through. MTV News caught up with Karlie after the show to learn all about her first time.

Josh was a big help. Josh Horowitz was my co-host, and he really carried me through, and so I was really lucky to have such talented people around me that I just had to stand there and try not to say anything controversial. And hopefully I did OK.

The biggest thing for prepping was just having fun with it and feeling confident, and we did enough rehearsing that it was a piece of cake by the time we finally got out there.

It didn't really hit me that it was going to be live for 30 minutes until I flew in to LA and got here and saw the red carpet and was like, "OK, what am I doing again and why did I sign up for this?" But it was a piece of cake, and when it comes down to it, that 30 minutes turns into such a small segment that you really have to be quick and efficient with your time, and that's something I learned too.

Can Paramore Top The Charts? Hayley Williams Calls On ‘A Little Luck’

Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards ceremony focused, appropriately enough, on celebrating the cinematic arts, but that doesn't mean that music wasn't properly represented. Among the show's attendees was rock band Paramore, who were still stoked about releasing their self-titled third album.

Lead vocalist Hayley Williams demurred when asked about the possibility of the band earning its first #1 album on the Billboard chart, but told MTV News that she and fellow bandmates Jeremy Davis and Taylor York were ecstatic about the release's success thus far.

"We're a little afraid of jinxing it," Williams said about the chance of hitting the top spot. "But at the end of the day, no matter what happens, we kind of feel like this week's already been insane for us. The album came true. It's been like a dream, but I don't know — we're ready to get back out there!"

Hayley William's Movie Awards Outfit Is Double Fast Fashion.

What about Paramore has listeners feeling connected? Williams admitted she wasn't sure but confessed that their third full-length was a particularly personal effort. "It's like a little luck, a little bit of everything," she mused. "But we know, we keep saying no matter what, we're just so proud of this album. We didn't even expect this much already.

Chinx Drugz Stages Another Cocaine Riot With Third Mixtape

Headliner: Chinx Drugz and DJ Drama

Representing: Queens, New York

Mixtape: Cocaine Riot 3

Real Spit: There are some who recognize Chinx Drugz simply as French Montana's right-hand man, but those who are truly in the know understand that the Queens, New York, MC's rhyme potential makes him a star in his own right.

For years, Chinx has been honing his skills on the mixtape circuit, and on Monday (April 15), the Coke Boys spitter returns with Cocaine Riot 3. "When I was making this mixtape, I was just trying to give the people something a little different from my normal," he told MTV News' Mixtape Daily. "I basically started messing with a couple of different beats, but I kept it real New York. But I just really wanted to give 'em the other side of Chinx that they ain't been hearing in a while."

The last installment of Chinx's Cocaine Riot series featured the underground boom-bap, Harry Fraud-produced tracks "I'm a Coke Boy" and "Road 2 Riches." This time out Drugz is broadening his musical palette, collaborating with southern artists like Juicy J on "Right There" and Roscoe Dash on "One Night." It isn't completely a departure from Chinx, but rather than being boxed in to one sound, he uses Cocaine Riot 3 to prove that he is a complete artist. "It's a lot of politics, but this time I just let loose and I gave them everything," he said.

Rebel Wilson’s Jokes At MTV Movie Awards Make It Her ‘Breakthrough’ Night

The lady of the night at the MTV Movie Awards was the show's multi-talented mistress of ceremonies Rebel Wilson, who proved she could crack jokes, sing, levitate, puppeteer and manage embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions like a pro.

Following in the formidable footsteps of Movie Awards host predecessors like Russell Brand, Jason Sudeikis, Aziz Ansari and Andy Samberg, the ceremony's fearless leader — known for — brought the funny (specifically, a plethora of pubic-related puns) with raunchy comedy gags and elaborate costume changes during the show. Here are some of our favorite Rebelicious moments from last night's Golden Popcorn statuette-laden festivities:

A Very Aussie Open
Wilson can officially call herself the first MTV Movie Awards host hand-picked by James Franco, who traveled all the way to the Australian outback to coax her into helming the ceremony. After interrupting a hot pink, koala-printed sweatsuit-clad Wilson from her "sitabout," which she described as "a walkabout with no cardio," Franco challenged Wilson with being "the greatest Australian female host in MTV history," before presenting her travel accommodations: a pink-embellished Iron Man suit dubbed "Iron Mangina." After exclaiming, "Check out my iron wedgie!" Wilson levitated — and then crash landed — at the Movie Awards venue, promptly entering into a medley involving various 'Pitch Perfect' co-stars, synchronized dancing to Eminem's "Lose Yourself" and a well-timed "Les Miz" joke. She unveiled a racy black leather outfit from beneath her sweatsuit, wielded nunchucks and capped it all off with a bleeped-out proclamation from Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' "Thrift Shop" hook.

Rebel Wilson’s Chlamydia Koala, ‘Catching Fire’ And MTV Movie Awards’ Biggest Social Trends

While we all know who went home with the Golden Popcorn Sunday night, the 2013 MTV Movie Awards winners weren't just onstage. Behold our top five social-media stars!

Rebel Wilson
By far, our Movie Awards host won the night. From the moment the comedian kicked off the show in her pink koala onesie and Mila Kunis' custom Iron Man suit, fans went crazy for her online. Whether it was Wilson's , her koala named Chlamydia or the double nipple-exposure, fans couldn't get enough of this Golden Popcorn-winning Aussie!

Emma Watson
Her Trailblazer Award was clearly justified as fans began tweeted their love for Watson as soon as a video montage of her career began rolling. We can't blame them: Though the star admitted to feeling pressure after a stirring speech from last year's honoree, Emma Stone, this year's Emma delivered, too, and with the best British accent.

Check Out The Best And Worst Moments From The 2013 MTV Movie Awards!

Will Ferrell
Yes, the actor's name initially trended with the wrong spelling but fans got it together, corrected the mistake. The strangest part of Ferrell's acceptance speech for the first-ever Comedic Genius Award wasn't his money-print suit or even the introduction of his "wife" Pam and their three children (a big sigh to everyone who thought they were real). No, the craziest moment was Aubrey Plaza's unscripted interruption. Still, Ferrell handed the moment like the Comedic Genius he is ... and the show by producers. (Eek!)
