A$AP Rocky has been arrested with an assault charge after reportedly hitting a female fan at the Made in America festival in Philadelphia on Saturday.
As Rocky walked through a crowd at this weekend’s concert, dancing fans tugged at his clothes. The rapper turned to swat them away and made contact with a woman’s face, TMZ reports.
The young mother said she suffered whiplash from the alleged hit, and after she filed a case with the District Attorney, Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, was charged with a misdemeanor. The DA office was not available when MTV News reached out.
A$AP Rocky’s camp has not responded to MTV News’s request for comment by press time.
