Digital Domain has released a visual effects breakdown video that demonstrates how they created some of the most amazing images in “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”

Of the many effects that the video takes a closer look at, two stand out. There is, of course, Magneto’s show-stopping display with the baseball stadium (which I will never get tired of).

But then there’s also a detailed look at how the filmmakers change Jennifer Lawrence to the blue-skinned version of J-Law and back again. It’s an incredible process that gives you an appreciation for all of the wizardry on display.

Um, something really weird is going on, guys. Kim Kardashian, #worldsmosttalkedabout reality TV star and mother to a Very Important Baby, and Cara Delevignne, supermodel and Eyebrow Game Champion Of The World, are doing something together. Something wet. Something involving black tank-tops. Something that has banned Cara and Kim from using a brush. WHAT IS THIS?!

Here’s what we know: Kim posted the snap in the midst of Paris Fashion Week, captioned “Secret project,” and it was regrammed from Love magazine’s editor-in-chief, Katie Eleanor Grand. Mz. Grand made her pic’s caption, “Fun day out with @caradelevingne @kimkardashian @thelovemagazine,” which makes us ask again, WHAT IS THIS?! What went down on this “fun day out?” Is it a forthcoming feature in Love? What’s it all about?? This ~secret project~ bizness is cool and all, but it needs to become not-so-secret ASAP because we’re dying over here.

Ridley Scott’s latest swords and sandals adventure obviously has more of a Biblical bent to it than his previous journeys to the past, but until the most recent trailer, “Exodus: Gods and Kings” was looking kind of like “Gladiator 2″ starring Christian Bale.

“Exodus: Gods and Kings” is a retelling (with more swords) of the story of Moses and mass evacuation of Egypt, but in this new trailer, we’re finally getting to see some of the Old Testament wrath in action. There are giant crocs eating people, locusts, and a bedroom full of frogs, which is more like a really awesome prank than a plague.

The movie also stars Joel Edgerton, Sigourney Weaver, Ben Kingsley and Aaron Paul.

“Exodus: Gods and Kings” opens in theaters on December 12.

There may only be three months left in 2014, but they’re gearing up to be huge for Taylor Swift. Her new album, 1989, is coming out on October 27 and she just landed her first British Vogue cover.

And what a cover it is. Her normally perfectly-coiffed bob is slicked back and—gasp—slightly undone. And then, acting as the G in “Vogue,” is her forehead—something we haven’t seen in many a moon. I wasn’t even sure if she still had a forehead, TBH. Below are quite a few freckles, which seem like they may be courtesy of a freckle pencil. Have you seen Taylor Swift with freckles before? Maybe all those beach trips with Lorde brought ‘em out? IDK. Either way, below her newfound freckles she wears a pale pink Miu Miu jacket and cable knit blue dress.

While the full spread isn’t out, Vogue UK shared another image from the shoot and—gasp x2—her hair is even more undone. Those bangs are going crazy, y’all. The color scheme remains the same, but here, Swift introduces a pair of purple paisley heels. The whole thing is very late ’80s, no? Pretty fitting considering the name of her new album, just sayin’.

Menahem Asher Silva Vargas has so many souvenirs from the wizarding world, he’s going to need a vault at Gringott‘s to hold it all — or at least an undetectable extension charm for his closet. The Mexico City native just snagged the Guinness World Record for the largest collection of Harry Potter memorabilia, having amassed 3,097 bits and bobs of Potter-related merchandise.

Vargas’s haul includes everything from posters and pillows, to Hogwarts house gear, to replica broomsticks and wands. And considering how hard he just grabbed that world record (the last record-holder had a mere 807 pieces of Potterstuff), he’s got to be feeling pretty darn good about every last piece of it.

Funnily enough, with his brown hair, Deathly Hallows sweater, and replica wire-rimmed glasses, Vargas also bears more than a passing resemblance to a grownup Harry Potter — which means that in addition to impressing us with his memorabilia-collecting skills, he also offers a somewhat eerie glimpse of what the Boy Who Lived might look like as an adult, if he’d never been able to move on after the Battle of Hogwarts, and instead became that guy who peaked in high school and spent the rest of his life hoarding the trinkets of his early success.

Congratulations, Mr. Vargas! You are truly a fan among fans, and we raise our butterbeer to you.

Last night (September 30), everything we’ve ever known to be true was shattered when Lionsgate announced that there would be more “Twilight” on the way, specifically in a series of mini-movies helmed by aspiring female directors, which will debut on Facebook in 2015.

The films will be made under the mentorship of a dynamite panel of female advisers, which includes Stephenie Meyer, Kate Winslet, Octavia Spencer, “Frozen” director Jennifer Lee, “Twilight” director Catherine Hardwicke, “Modern Family” actress Julie Bowen, Women In Film President Cathy Schulman, and, of course, Kristen Stewart.

This news is a lot to digest all at once, so here is our hopefully-helpful guide to understanding the nine stages of finding out there’s more “Twilight” on the way:

1. First, there’s denial. Denial that there might be more Denali.

2. Then, there’s curiosity. You start searching the Interwebs on “legitimate websites” for proof that it might actually be true.

3. … And guess what? It is true. It finally starts to sink in that it’s really, really true. For a second, you begin to panic.

4. So you grab the nearest human you can find, and hug them like there’s no tomorrow. There is simply too much joy to contain.
