Shane and Liam may be a new breed of bro, but that doesn’t mean they’re immune to the typical perils of friendship.

On tonight’s “Faking It” episode, the seemingly inseparable pals had their first big argument. Things grew tense as Shane got the impression that Liam was ditching him for new kid Theo, and when the guys found themselves in the middle of a brawl at a local bar, resentments began to surface.

Liam, who was pissed off at Shane for starting the needless scuffle, dug deeper and admitted he was angry at his friend for keeping Karmy’s secret — that the girls weren’t really lesbians and had faked a relationship for popularity. Liam felt slighted and accused Shane of shifting his allegiance to Amy.

Shane, though, who was all too familiar with the terror of being in the closet, explained that he wasn’t siding with Amy, but that she needed an extra bit of sensitivity as she navigated the confusing path of her sexual identity. If he’d come clean about her master plan, he said, he’d have to out her, too, and he wasn’t ready to throw his fellow gay scout to the wolves.

It looks like Miley Cyrus’ big brother, Trace, was experiencing a bit of buyer’s remorse earlier. The Metro Station member took to Twitter on Tuesday (September 30) to express regret over his extensive — and I mean extensive — collection of body art.

“So sad I ruined my body with all these stupid tattoos,” Trace tweeted to his followers, before cautioning: “Don’t get tattoos.”

Here are some of the tattoos he’s talking about. And yes, I said “some.”

But before long, the “Wrecking Ball” singer swooped in to play the role of the super-positive little sister, comforting her big bro’s achy breaky soul the best way she knew how: by offering to get more ink with him.

“You’re the coolest lookin dude I know!” Miley tweeted, along with the tempting hashtag proposition, “#lezgettattedwhenimhome.”

And it worked like a charm. The pop-rocker quickly changed his tune, telling his kid sis, “U know I’m down for more tatts.” Ah, isn’t sibling-bonding beautiful?

Time is a-tickin’ until graduation day in Palos Hills, and Senior Class President Tamara, for one, isn’t going to waste a single second.

On tonight’s “Awkward” episode, to ring in the new year, T resolved to liven up the little bit of high school she had left. “We should make a ‘f*** it’ list!” she suggested as she, Jenna, Matty and Jake made their way to Aunt Ally’s New Year’s Eve bash. “Everything we thought we couldn’t do ’cause we were too sad or too scared, we should just carpe do-it!” And so she started with the first point on her agenda: tonguing a “dumb-yum” wrestler named Pete at the party (not to mention, she was first in line at the ice luge). Minx!

And Jake, who hooked up with a young mom, certainly partied hard, as well. Still, Matty and Jenna — like many of their peers — were mostly well-behaved, but should they take a ride on the F***-It Train too? In case they’re unsure of how to hop on board, here’s how we see it happening:

Want to drum up interest in the new season of a popular TV show? That’s easy; just get straight to the freakin’ point. That’ ladies and gentlemen, is the route “American Horror Story: Freak Show” is taking with the first batch of actual footage released from Season 4, which literally opens with the line: “Where are the freaks? I’m getting bored.”

Then, we meet the cast. “It was in the fall when I realized the world I had known was forever doomed,” intones actress Sarah Paulson, who plays the dual roles of conjoined twins Dot and Better Tattler, as she approaches a menacing tent with Jessica Lange’s Elsa Mars. “I knew I was about to enter the gates of hell, but, like the inescapable pull of gravity, there was nothing I could do about it.”

Losing a loved one can be a devastating ordeal in its own right. Losing three in a short span of time can be downright debilitating — and its an experience Fat Joe unfortunately knows firsthand.

“When [Big] Pun passed away, I went through depression,” the rapper said in an interview with Music Choice. “And I’m not just saying depression lightly — real depression. It was him, my sister and my grandfather at the same time, so I was going through so much and everybody doubted me.”

The Bronx native recalls overhearing some of his closest friends saying that his musical career was finished around that same time. That motivated him to breathe new life into his work, and he credits Pun with giving him the foundation to be able to do that.

“Even though I discovered Big Pun, the truth is, he taught me how to make hit records,” Joe said. “He literally sat me down and said, ‘Yo, right about here, you gotta talk to the girls, Joe. Right about here we gotta keep it gangsta.’ He literally showed me.”

“Once he passed, I got used to the money, I got used to the fame, so I was like, ‘We gotta hit some home runs.’ So, we did the ‘We Thuggin’’ with R. Kelly, ‘What’s Love,’ we had the ‘My Lifestyle,’ it was a serious run.”

Video has surfaced of Justin Bieber and Kendall Jenner dining together in Paris. Finally, the French capital has contributed something culturally significant to the world.

Although the Instagram user who recorded the encounter seemed to have left her high-quality, 70mm movie camera at home, the footage does seem to show JB and the Kardashian-Jenners’ second youngest. Plus, that certainly sounds like the “Confident” singer’s voice in the clip, and you know what they say: If it looks like a Bieber and talks like a Bieber, it’s probably a Bieber.

So, did Justin and Kendall meet up for a romantic dinner date after one of the budding runway model’s many Paris Fashion Week gigs? And if that’s the case, where’s Selena Gomez in all this? Aren’t she and JB supposed to be “on” again right now?

All the pieces are falling into place: there’s going to be a movie based on the video game “Tetris,” and it’s going to be “a very big, epic sci-fi movie,” according to Threshold Entertainment CEO Larry Kasanoff.

Kasanoff announced to the Wall Street Journal that his company would partner with the Tetris Company to bring the classic puzzle game to the big screen.

The classic game, first released in 1984, has potential not only fora film but for spin-off experiences, Kasanoff said. The brand has had strong presence in its decades of visibility, and Threshold has successful brought games to the big screen before. The production house is responsible for 1995′s “Mortal Kombat” and its 1997 sequel, “Mortal Kombat: Annihilation.”

“What you [will] see in ‘Tetris’ is the teeny tip of an iceberg that has intergalactic significance,” Kasanoff said of the “Tetris” movie.

And, no, it won’t be anthropomorphized Tetris shapes acting as main characters: “We’re not giving feet to the geometric shapes,” Kasanoff said.

Oooooh. Let’s just hope that Threshold can punch those buttons quickly enough to spin the pieces into place without getting blocked.

Justin Bieber just arrived in France today (mysteriously at the same time at Selena Gomez), and judging by his Rolls-Royce selfie in the streets of “Pari,” he’s very, very stoked about it. So stoked, in fact, that he’s already switched up his outfit three times since he landed in the City of Love.

His first ensemble was a no-nonsense, minimal all-black look, in which he layered a super long sleeveless button-up shirt over a black tank, his signature saggy jeans and slip-on sneakers. He accessorized with thick gold chains, dark sunnies, and his barely-there ’stache.

Later in the day, he swapped out his chambray top for a leopard print and leather varsity jacket complete with a popped collar.

For dinner, he met up with Kendall Jenner in a super casual camo jacket and a backwards snapback hat. There’s no word as to why he’s visiting France as of yet, but we’re hoping he’ll make an appearance at Louis Vuitton’s show tomorrow before Paris Fashion Week officially wraps up. Aside from how much money you make, our society gauges your success in life by two main criteria: 1) Whether a fellow human being loves you, and 2) are you a big deal on the internet?

You might think these factors are independent of each other. For example, most of the people who seem like big deals on the internet fail to actually make any money in the real world. But a new study from the University of Michigan, Aalto University and the Qatar Computing Research Institute has linked romantic failure to social media failure, because nobody wants to read a bunch of weepy, emo status messages about how you’re a piece of s–t destined to die alone.

Psychological researchers examined 661 unmarried couples’ Twitter usage, after whittling the sample set down from 40,000. While they were mostly looking for how partners communicate before and after a breakup, they noticed “a previously undocumented phenomenon…where users who break up experience sudden drops of 15-20 followers and friends.”

Yep, tweeting about your heartbreak will cost you 15-20 tweeps, based on an average following of about 300.
