If you live in a city with a subway system, then you’ve probably had your lazy moments when you ride for only one stop instead of walking the extra few blocks. But how much time do you really save by taking the train?

One guy really waned to find out. So he raced the Tube — London’s subway system — from one stop to the next. The results are super impressive. Watch the full video below:

In a recent interview with Comic Book Resources, Alex Kurtzman, the man set to direct a movie about the villain and occasional anti-hero Venom, said something that may have a surprising impact on the “Amazing Spider-Man” spin-off.

When asked how difficult it was picking a version of Venom to feature in the movie, Kurtzman said this:

“I would not say it’s an easy choice. I would say that there are quite a few things about Venom that are interesting. Venom had several different iterations, and there are several things that are very unique, interesting and specific. And so I think we all want to make sure that we’re making the right choices for a character that’s so beloved.”

Eddie Brock is by far the most well-known host for the symbiote, since he was the person who originally held the title “Venom” after Spidey ditched the living costume, but in a world where “Ant-Man” is about Scott Lang, his role as the main character in the movie is not a foregone conclusion.

So which Venom is most likely to show up in the movie? Let’s break it down.

50 Cent’s grandmother Beluah Jackson has died, MTV News learned on Wednesday (September 17).

Initially, popular blog site Hiphop-N-More picked up on the story after the rapper’s cousin posted a dedication on Instagram, and we were able to confirm the news through a source. The exact time and cause of death is unknown.

It is no secret that the G-Unit founder had a rough upbringing, but the star rapper has always cherished his relationship with his grandmother and consistently spoke lovingly of her. In June, Fif revealed to New York radio host Angie Martinez that his grandmother was recently sick on her former show on Hot 97.

“Her actually being sick, for me this is the only person who took care of me,” he said. “It’s really uncomfortable for me.

“If I had one person in the world that I could give everything that I have to and I’d be comfortable with it, it’ll be my grandmother,” he continued.

In 2012, Fif sat down with Oprah Winfrey and filmed the interview in his grandparents’ home. “I’ve always had to be two people. I’ve had to be my grandmother’s baby in the house and be more like what people perceive 50 Cent as outside. I’m not even allowed to curse around her.”

50 has also referenced Mrs. Jackson on song’s like Game’s “Hate It or Love It” and on “Talk About Me,” where he wrote an entire verse from his grandmother’s perspective.

Justin Bieber is promising “big things” are going down with Cody Simpson, and by the looks of it, he’s not kidding.

The pop stars teamed up for a photo shoot earlier this week “out on a ranch” in California — for what we assume is something tied to their upcoming acoustic collaboration album — and they gave us a little tease of what we can expect.

Justin uploaded a 0:30 teaser to his Fahlo account, and it shows JB wearing jeans and a flannel while Cody shows off his biceps in a white tank. Lounging in what appears to be a log cabin, the duo each play their guitars and sing along to a slow-tempo melody. Their voices blend perfectly together as they sing about a relationship that is “more than worth it.”

Photographer Nick Onken is behind the shoot; manager Scooter Braun is also on hand as the guys pose for pictures in the cabin and the great outdoors.

No word on what exactly the photo shoot was for, possibly an album cover? But it’s certainly getting us anxious for November, when the collection of “smack bang duets”, as Simpson described it, is projected to be released. Those eight weeks can’t come fast enough.

GoPro cameras are typically used to capture action-packed adventures, like mountain biking and skydiving (and tornado selfies and volcano dives). But this might be one of the most dramatic uses of a GoPro ever.

Tourist Alexander Hennessey was riding a bicycle in Buenos Aires, Argentina, when a motorcyclist pulled up next to him, demanded his backpack and flashed a gun.

The armed robber kept shouting “mochila,” which means “backpack” in Spanish. Hennessey (who isn’t fluent in the language, shouting, “I don’t know what you’re saying, man!”) tried to plead with him, calling him “amigo” repeatedly before ditching his bike and fleeing.

Fortunately, Hennessey caught up with some friends and rode with them to safety, saying, “I’ve got that entire thing on my GoPro right now. I was recording that whole thing.”

Hennessey is currently on a mission to visit all 195 countries to earn his “Global Degree.” According to Global Degree’s Facebook page, the footage was given to police, and the thief was arrested later that day.

Ever since we heard Lauren Conrad tied the knot on Saturday, we’ve been eagerly waiting to see what she looked like on the big day. These girls were equally desperate to check out her look. A ton of questions flew–like, did she go for flirty and full-skirted dress like we predicted last year? What did her always perfect hair look like? How did she wear her eyeliner?! Well, the day has finally come–we know what she looked like and it was, as expected, totally gorgeous.

US Weekly

US Weekly has the exclusive photos, so we, obviously, immediately ran to the nearest newsstand, picked up a copy, and inhaled all the wedding 411 we could, as fast as we could.

The dress was custom Badgley Mischka.
It described by Lauren as “Glamorous. Classic. Simple.” It was two different shades of white and was embroidered with “lace, crystals, pearls, and baby glass beads.”

Lauren almost took kitchen scissors to her dress.
While the original design had long, lace sleeves, Lauren decided she couldn’t pull them off and considered cutting them off herself.

The veil was a last-minute decision.
But once Lauren put it on, she knew she was ready to get married.

She designed her bridesmaids’ dresses.
They come from her Paper Crown line–while each of the 10 women (including Lo Bostworth–hai, girl!) chose the silhouette she wanted, they were all united by the blush color.
