Who’s The ‘F—ing Beautiful’ Girl Behind Nick Jonas’ Upcoming Single?

by 7 mins ago

Both Beyoncé and Chromeo released songs in the last calendar year entitled “Jealous” and now Nick Jonas is joining the trend with his second solo single by the same name.

When MTV News caught up with the former JoBro earlier this summer he explained why the track, which drops Sunday (September 7), was the perfect follow up to “Chains,” the first release off his upcoming LP.

Everything You Need To Know About Nick Jonas And Demi Lovato’s New Song ‘Avalanche’

“‘Jealous’ is a really great representation of the range of [my debut] record and it is an up-tempo song, basically the whole concept is about jealousy,” the singer told MTV News. “It’s basically saying this girl is so f—ing beautiful that you just get jealous and you can’t help it and I think it’s something a lot of guys can relate to but are afraid to say.”

Nick is far from shy when expressing his feelings on the subject, penning the lyrics after an upsetting night out with his sweetheart Olivia Culpo.

“I’m with my girl and [some other guys are] looking at her and I was like, I’ve just been training for three months how to be a real fighter for a TV show and I could hurt ...

This Little Girl Perfectly Captures The Spirit Of Taylor Swift’s ‘Shake It Off’

by 24 mins ago

Taylor Swift‘s brand new single—and second-ever No. 1 song—”Shake It Off” has the singer bumbling her way through a variety of different dance routines, but the gist of the song is to just be yourself no matter what.

Which is something that this little girl seems to have down pat. In fact, in the Instagram video that her mother shot of her, she’s got moves that rival Swift’s own!

Tay Tay herself took to Twitter to point out just how free and joyful her dancing was:

Yes, this is definitely a deeper level than the rest of us. Sometimes it takes a child to really reveal the beauty in life.

Watch the moves yourself to experience the full-on perfection of her carefree dancing. Ahhh, to be young! Never change girly, never change.

She’d probably do a great job choreographing the 1989 tour to be honest! Considering Taylor’s history with fan responses, something just might come of this after all.

GOP Spokesman Comes Out In Emotional Letter: ‘Let Me Get Married’

by 1 min ago

Today (September 4), in an essay written for the Washington Post James Richardson came out as gay.

Coming out can be a difficult transition for anyone, but in Richardson’s case it has even more weight: he’s a senior spokesman for the Republican party. Richardson, who is currently the Vice President of Public Affairs at Hynes Communications has worked in the past as a spokesman for the Republican National Committee, an adviser for prominent Republican figures like Govs. Haley Barbour and Jon Huntsman, and has even helped elect those who continue to argue against gay marriage.

Richardson has been open about his support of gay rights before but had never openly admitted that he was gay. As a member of the Republican political faction, admitting this fact will likely turn some of his colleagues and supporters against him, something that the Georgia native reflected on this fact in the essay:

“For my admission here, I will alienate friends whose faiths regard my sexuality as culturally corrosive. I’ll suffer the snickering of those across the aisle whose politics regard my own as personally injurious. And conservative clients may regard me as a liability.”

Related: Elton John Believes Jesus Would Be Pro-Gay Marriage

Yet, he is determined to let his voice be heard in order to come against Georgia’s explicit same-sex marriage ban. He goes on to argue that most people who now vote in favor of gay marriage were once against it, and of those who have been won ...

Fabolous Thinks People Are Doing The Ice Bucket Challenge And Mourning Joan Rivers ‘To Look Cool’

by 44 mins ago

Fabolous took to Twitter to rant about his disdain for followers who took the ALS ice bucket challenge or tweeted about Joan Rivers’ death to be “cool.”

“Such a follow, do what everybody else think is cool so that’s what ima do generation,” the rapper wrote Thursday (September 4). “Sh-t is sick.”

Does he have a point? Maybe. Was it super ironic that he chose to use a social media platform built on the very idea of following to call people out for, well, following trends? We’ll take “Yes” for $500, Alex!

The “Cuffin’ Season” MC went on to doubt whether or not ice bucket challengers actually made donations to ALS and criticized them for wasting water.

“Awareness was part of the goal. But donation is a goal. Cures, research, & treatment can’t be paid for with being aware,” he added. “I thought we was tryna get water for Africa & other third world countries. But this year the cool thing was dumping buckets for awareness.”

Apparently, all of the groupthink has made the Brooklyn spitter “sick of this generation.”

While it’s true that Fab has every right to post multiple rant tweets, we’re pretty sure the ALS ice bucket challenge was very effective in raising awareness and money and that everyone is tweeting about Joan Rivers because she was downright iconic.

Britney Spears Is Back In The Studio And We’re Crying Tears Of Joy

by 57 mins ago

The Queen is back in the studio!

Britney Spears shared a photo Thursday night (September 4) of herself sidled up to a recording mic, tossing out a signature peace sign and sporting an ear-to-ear grin. “Studio today! Yay!” the pop star wrote.

“Yay!” is probably the understatement of the year. It’s more like “OMFG YASSS BISH YASSS!” With the underperformance and lackluster reviews of Britney Jean, the “Work Bitch” singer is due for a musical resurgence.

As for the theme of the album? Well, a dirty-dog cheating boyfriend sounds like the perfect material for a fierce new anthem. Britney’s back to single and ready to mingle, addressing the infidelity at her Las Vegas show on Sunday (September 1).

“Well, by now everyone knows my boyfriend cheated on me. But the best part of breaking up,” the singer continued as she leaped forward toward the front of the stage, “is going on first dates. OMG, OMG, I need a hot guy. Where are the hot guys here tonight?”

Spears’ studio session comes perfectly timed for an end-of-residency celebration next year, when the Vegas performer will wrap up her stay at Planet Hollywood in February 2015. It’ll be a happy New Year after all!

Joan Rivers’ Funeral Wish List: Beyonce Hair, A Valentino Gown And Sobbing Meryl Streep

by 1 hour ago

Comedic legend Joan Rivers passed away today (September 4) after suffering from cardiac arrest and being placed into a medically induced coma.

As Hollywood sheds tears in remembrance of her fabulous presence and pioneering efforts in comedy, Rivers continues to be the quickest to the punchline with an over-the-top self-planned funeral service outlined in her 2013 book I Hate Everyone…Starting with Me.

As always, she had plenty of unforgettable quips—even when it came to the subject of death. How did Joan feel about funerals? She absolutely “loves” them, calling the mournful event a “red carpet show for dead people.”

“It’s a chance for mourners from all walks of life to accessorize basic black,” Rivers joked. “And to make a fashion statement that is bold enough to draw attention away from the bereaved, but subtle enough so that no one knows that it’s happening. And, it’s a great way to have quiet fun.”

The fashionista also laid out exactly how she wished to be celebrated in death, from the dining options all the way to the entertainment. Here’s the rundown:

“When I die (and yes, Melissa, that day will come; and yes, Melissa, everything’s in your name), I want my funeral to be a huge showbiz affair with lights, cameras, action…”

“I want Craft services…”

“I want paparazzi…”

“And I want publicists making a scene!”

“I want it to be Hollywood all the way. I don’t want some rabbi rambling on; I want Meryl Streep crying, in ...

Chris Brown Tells Billboard Magazine: ‘Maybe I Was Out Of Control’

by 19 mins ago

“Maybe I was out of control.”

That simple admission by embattled singer Chris Brown appears on the cover of the newest issue of Billboard magazine as the lead for what looks to be his most honest and personal interview since he was released from jail back in June.

Or maybe ever.

The “Loyal” crooner spoke to the magazine about his life behind bars, his relationship with Rihanna, his loyal fanbase and his upcoming sixth LP, X.

“I realize that what I do for a living opens my life to public scrutiny and that I have a responsibility to everyone because of that exposure,” Brown told Billboard. “I can say that I am only human and I have made mistakes. I can say that I try to live my life in the most true, honest way that I can. I am not perfect, no one is. No one is harder on me than me. No one can please everyone. No one can live in the past and expect to grow. I have been moving forward and hope that I am not defined by just a few moments in my life but all of the moments that will make up my life.”

While Brown’s comments seem to be poignant and introspective, just two weeks after his sit down with the publication, he was back in the negative news cycle after Suge Knight was shot multiple times at Brown’s pre-VMA party on August 24. However, besides the fact that the ...

A Carrie Underwood Song Is Getting Its Own TV Show

by 42 mins ago

Carrie Underwood has always had the flair for the dramatic, so why not make the most of that skill?

Her previous hits, “Before He Cheats” and “Jesus, Take The Wheel,” emphasized the car as a vehicle for emotionally-fraught moments. But when 2012′s “Two Black Cadillacs” went platinum, one thing became clear: we needed more details, we needed action!

We needed… a TV show.

And just like that, Underwood’s tale of intrigue, betrayal and murder is on its way to Fox. E! News reports that Carrie herself will serve as the executive producer for the “six hour event series” with super-producer Jerry Bruckheimer. In TV-speak, event series usually means the series is only scheduled to run for one, limited season.

The Warner Bros. Television show will undoubtedly explore the love triangle that the song references—a mistress and a wife who discover their mutual lover and decide to take matters into their own hands. “One is for his wife / the other for the woman who loved him at night,” go the lyrics, explaining the significance of the two cars.

Underwood is already pretty familiar with TV, considering she started her career as the winner of American Idol’s Season 5, and recently starred in a live musical version of “The Sound Of Music” for NBC.

Now, who is going to star in the show? Can we nominate Lucy Hale for her “Pretty Little Liars” relationships drama as Aria and

The Joan Rivers You Didn’t Know: Stories From Everyday People Who Met Her

by 7 mins ago

As you’ve probably heard by now, the world lost a comedy legend on Thursday (September 4) when Joan Rivers, she of the sharp tongue, amazing work ethic, and fashion know-how, died at the age of 81.

We’re sad. A lot of people are sad. But people who might not know a lot about her outside of her scathing red carpet jokes might not know why we’re sad. All they saw is the Queen of Mean, ripping on Anna Kendrick‘s Oscar dress or Amber Rose’s VMA… non-dress. And they’re right — Rivers’ humor was mean, brilliantly so. She created a brand out of it, she never stopped working on it, and generations to come will thank her for making red carpet dress coverage a thing.

But for those who interacted with her in real life, Rivers was anything but. Even before she died, friends in New York and Los Angeles would tell me about how they ran into her at X, Y, or Z, and how smart, kind, funny, and generous she was. She’s officiated last-minute gay weddings for her fans. She flirted with flight attendants and brought them gifts. She even gave my friend from high school ten bucks, and my new Twitter friend a really kickass story to tell.

Read these stories — the real stories, from the real people she wasn’t blasting on “Fashion Police” — below:

Rob Rodriguez, Server At Sarabeth Restaurant, NYC
“Most of us called her Joanie. Sunday nights, 7pm, table 35. That was her spot. ...
