Ever wondered what an NFL fantasy football draft with Jay Z is like? Well, ESPN’s Senior Fantasy Analyst (add that to jobs you wish you’d thought of), Matthew Berry, is lucky enough to participate in Hov’s league, so he has some insight.

Berry explained to Keith Olbermann, that he was called into the 40/40 club in New York City to assist Jay with picks for his GUTS Fantasy Football League recently, and… it was intense.

The best part though, is that Berry bailed out on the draft party with his childhood friends to meet up with Jay (just like you would, I’m sure), only to realize that the rapper couldn’t actually attend the draft. Apparently a “business thing” came up, so he was forced to talk to Jay on the phone during the draft party to solidify his picks.

We learned that the Roc Nation CEO is “literally the greatest trash talker in fantasy football history.” Not too surprising.

During a tough news week (month? Year?) it’s always a welcome relief to see kind people doing kind things. That’s why, when we saw that reddit user Signal-7_10-4 — who suffers from Von-Hippel Lindau syndrome, a rare genetic condition that predisposes individuals to tumors — recently had “the best day of his life” via a set visit to “Parks and Recreation” and the Make-A-Wish foundation, we cried like Leslie Knope would cry if she spent a year on a desert island then returned to Pawnee and saw a stack of JJ’s Diner waffles for the first time.

Below, enjoy some heartwarming behind-the-scenes photos and anecdotes from his visit (which apparently happened during last year’s finale flash-forward, unless that’s where they pick up in the premiere…), but be warned — Larry was there.

We already know Lorde‘s been spending time in the studio working on the follow-up to her smash debut, Pure Heroine.

We also know she’s curating the soundtrack for “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1″ and working on a new track for the movie, so… we feel like it’s safe to assume that a post on Thursday could be a peek at her “Hunger” track.

With the cryptic message, “first line,” Lorde gave us a tantalizing taste at what’s next for her.

On her breakout single, “All About That Bass,” Meghan Trainor empowered girls to love their bodies. Now, on her new song “Title” — premiered exclusively Friday (September 5) on MTV — the sassy newcomer is teaching the ladies not to settle for being friends-with-benefits.

The 20-year-old sings about being fed up with a guy who won’t stop referring to her as just a friend before giving him one serious ultimatum: Either give me the girlfriend title or kiss my ass. You tell him, girl.

“Baby don’t call me a friend/ If I hear that word again/ You might never get a chance to see me naked in your bed/ And I know girls ain’t hard to find/ If you think you want to try/ Then consider this an invitation to kiss my ass goodbye,” she sings.

The song takes an infectious beat and gives it a throwback vibe, with Meghan even showing off some impressive rapping skills. The new track follows “All About That Bass,” which is currently holding the #2 spot on Billboard‘s Hot 100.

We’ve already seen the lady with three legs, the dude with a split tongue, and the claw, and now FX and “American Horror Story: Freak Show” are back with the most terrifying circus act of all — the clown.

To be honest with you I was actually completely obsessed with clowns as a child — my bedroom featured a circus motif — but the Joker-like face on this first guy is enough to erase years of happy childhood memories and replace them with nightmares of big shoes, fart sounds, and worst of all, smiles.

Damn you, Ryan Murphy:

Sweet dreams, kids.

Willow Smith is whipping her hair no more — and it’s not just because she has a shorter ‘do now. The 13-year-old Smith progeny released her cover of King Krule’s “Easy Easy” on Thursday night.

Willow replaced Krule’s slack-jawed vocals with her own soulful ones over the sparse bass line, and I have to admit: it works!

Compare it to King Krule’s cool original:

The teen singer has been going in a different direction since her break-out song two years ago, sampling Radiohead in “Sugar and Spice” and joining SZA onstage in Brooklyn to sing their unreleased collaboration “Domino.”

Ever since Jesse Eisenberg was cast as Lex Luthor in “Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice,” there’s been no shortage of questions about what he’ll be like in the role — and for many fans, no question has been more pressing than whether or not he’d shave his head to play the canonically bald villain.

Up until now, we’ve just had to wonder. Eisenberg himself has kept very quiet about his involvement in the film, refusing to divulge a single detail about whether a date with a razor might be in his future. But while he hasn’t spoken a word about it, a fan who snagged a picture with the actor this week might just have solved the mystery.

That is not Jesse Eisenberg’s hair — or at least, it’s certainly not the naturally curly mop he’s sported literally every other time we’ve seen him. Which leaves us with two possible explanations: either Jesse has suddenly and inexplicably decided to experiment with a flat iron, or he’s naked as a cue ball underneath a silly little hairpiece.

Nobody knows for sure, of course, but the smart money is on the new Luthor being an old-school bald baddie. And with filming set to continue for awhile yet, we kind of hope that Eisenberg will eventually embrace his brief freedom from follicles and ditch the wig. Those things are itchy.

Knowing how Joan Rivers felt about the inevitability of her own death, it was no surprise that the late comedienne’s near, dear friend Sarah Silverman paid tribute to her with a trio of zingers on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Thursday.

Silverman, who fondly remembered Rivers as a woman who loved and hated with her whole heart, joined the chorus of voices memorializing the Hollywood grande dame the best way she knew how: by throwing shade at the origins of Kimmel’s necktie, shirt and hair.

Jimmy, not one to fall down on the job of giving Joan Rivers a proper send-off, responded with a back hair joke that Rivers is probably still cackling about in the afterlife.
