Talk about hometown proud. Four days after he was released from the St. Louis Rams, Michael Sam was signed on Wednesday morning (September 3) to the Dallas Cowboys practice squad. And for Dallas native Demi Lovato the news could not have been any better.

Lovato was overjoyed that seventh-round pick Sam, 24, the first openly gay player selected in the NFL draft, was getting a second shot after his solid pre-season with a Rams team that, unfortunately for him, was stacked at his defensive line position.

Former NFL great and onetime Cowboy Deion Sanders also applauded the move.

“We just want to give him a chance to come in and help our football team,” coach Jason Garrett said in a press conference. “That’s where our attention is (football). What people say outside the organization is up to them.”

Any other team could pick Sam up off of the Cowboys’ practice squad if they agreed to sign him to their active 53-man roster for a minimum of four weeks. Sam is not expected to play in the Cowboys’ season opener on Sunday.

A family reunion is in order on “Teen Wolf,” but this one won’t include ice cream and cake.

On Monday night’s episode, Peter, whose agenda is about as clear as a slab of granite, told Malia that the identity of her mother — who Peter identified as “The Desert Wolf” — was as good as hers if she agreed to kill Kate Argent in exchange. Malia looked befuddled by the offer, but considering she’d only just learned that Peter was her father, and that her family tree had been totally uprooted in the process, she felt more desperate than ever to figure things out.

The problem is, Kate’s not going down quietly. Though her transformation into a werecoyote is recent, she’s already supremely powerful, and no one has been able to mess with her or her Beserkers and live to tell the tale. Still, going toe-to-toe with the former werewolf hunter might be Malia’s only shot, as she and amateur sleuth Stiles, who did successfully stop The Benefactor’s cash flow, haven’t had as much luck nailing down the identity of The D.W.

So, got any guesses? Considering all you’ve seen this season, who is The Desert Wolf, and who gave birth to Malia? Let us know what you think, and let’s hope Monday night’s “Teen Wolf” finale gives us the answer we’ve been looking for!

Two new Kendrick Lamar verses in one week? Uhh, yeah, sure. Sounds alright to me.

First, we got his bars on Flying Lotus’ “Never Catch Me,” and later on Wednesday (September 3), K. Dot showed up on the remix to Jeezy’s “Holy Ghost,” from the Atlanta rapper’s Seen It All album.

As usual, the TDE rapper is on a lyrical warpath, hopping on the Don Cannon and Frank Dukes-produced beat and doing what he does best.

These days, Eminem interviews are hard to come by, but when he talks, it’s always an event, like this “The Monster Tour Special,” which aired on his Sirius XM Shade 45 satellite station.

During the hour-long broadcast, which was recorded during Eminem and Riahnna’s August tour stop in New Jersey, Shade’s Reef the Streets interviewed Royce da 5’9″, Alchemist, Mr. Porter and Marshall Mathers himself.

This ain’t a scene, it’s a pregnancy announcement! Get excited; Fall Out Boy singer Patrick Stump is expecting his first child with wife Elisa Yao.

And the baby is coming soon, according to Stump’s interview with 102.7 KIIS FM on Wednesday (September 3). He’s been keeping the pregnancy secret and revealed Elisa’s due date is at the end of October. The couple was married in October 2012.

“The band is in a crazy place right now because there’s a lot of little kids running around,” Stump said. Bassist Pete Wentz is father to 5-year-old Bronx with ex-wife Ashlee Simpson, and just welcomed another baby boy with girlfriend Meagan Camper on August 20.

Jeezy’s new album, Seen It All, dropped Tuesday, but in the week leading up to its release, talk about the Atlanta rap star was more focused on his recent arrest and when he would post bail, instead of the music.

“They detained my bus drivers — two of my bus drivers; one was a 50-something year-old lady, [plus] my cameraman,” Jeezy told Power 105.1′s “The Breakfast Club,” speaking for the first time about the incident, which lead to a not guilty plea on weapons charges. In total, six people were arrested.

Not only is the “Me OK” rapper confident that he and his team weren’t in the wrong, but he was focused on everyone sticking together. Which is why he didn’t post bail — set at $1 million — for a few days.

“I’m such a real person and I know we was there in the right,” he said. “I just felt like I couldn’t leave them there. When I stepped in the door, I had bailsmen right there to get me out. And I just made it clear: ‘When I leave, we leaving together.’ Point blank period. You go through things in life, and that’s just what that was. It’s only money. But it was more so about the principle to me. I wasn’t leaving no man behind.”

Tyler Posey faces the arduous task of battling a series of villains who threaten his pack as well as his loved ones on “Teen Wolf.” But in the “Funny or Die” video below, T.Po ain’t in Beacon Hills anymore: He’s facing a Snackpocalypse and needs to assist Chloë Grace Moretz in her mission to save the world from turning into junk-food zombies.

In the (fake) end-of-the-world movie trailer below, Moretz — channeling Tris from the “Divergent” trilogies — is a girl who eats healthy food and is naturally set apart from the different factions at her high school (Pop Rockers, Chip Chubs and Pizza Pals, to name a few) who choose to chow down on junk food. She gets some encouragement from Posey, who magically swoops in and tells the reluctant heroine that she’s the only hope for everyone to stop eating unhealthy snacks.

After she explains that she likes eating fruits and vegetables every now and then, Posey interrupts and urges her to keep quiet. “Don’t let them hear you,” he says. “Do you want to see my back tattoos?” he asks, seemingly poking fun at the Dauntless leader Four. That’s our boy!
