I totally get it. I mean, who doesn’t love the number 1? It’s NUMBER ONE! Its inherent greatness is built right into the number line. And the letter D? Well, the letter D happens to be a part of my last name. Also, D is for Dog, and dogs are the best creatures on earth. Win, and win.

Harry, Niall, Liam, Zayne and Louis taped with “Sesame Street” way at the beginning of 2014, but we’ve been enjoying their visit ever since — first they declared what really makes “U” beautiful and then they made the ABCs adorable with Bert.

Zedd was very polite on Tuesday (September 2) when he released his remix of MAGIC!’s “Rude” — because, since it’s the producer’s birthday, he didn’t have to do anything. We should be the ones giving him stuff.

Nevertheless, Zedd amped up the reggae hit with a steady beat and power chords, giving the ditty more of a stadium vibe instead of a garage one.

Life’s not so good for Cee Lo Green, after all.

Just one day after the singer’s attempt to define the nature of rape on Twitter failed miserably, TBS announced Tuesday (September 2) that it won’t be bringing back his reality show, “The Good Life.”

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the cable network based its decision to cancel the unscripted series based solely on its underperforming ratings.

While the series, which also featured Green’s Goodie Mob pals, averaged a paltry 677,000 viewers a night during its six-episode first season, the timing of the show’s cancelation will likely fuel the notion that Turner Networks may have bowed to the women’s rights group UltraViolet’s petition to terminate it.

The former “The Voice” coach pled no contest Friday to a felony count of furnishing a controlled substance of MDMA/ecstasy to a woman without her awareness and was sentenced to 360 hours of community service and three years of probation.

The 39-year-old singer tried to defend his legal troubles in 140 characters or less, but was hit with a tidal wave of backlash.

“If someone is passed out they’re not even WITH you consciously,” he tweeted, adding, “People who have really been raped REMEMBER!!!”

Cee Lo later apologized for his remarks, but apparently, his mea culpa wasn’t enough to keep living and broadcasting “The Good Life.”

Jhene Aiko and Childish Gambino have collaborated a few times in the past, sharing tracks like “Bed Peace” and “Pink Toes.” And on Tuesday (September 2), they were at it again, with Donald Glover directing the visuals to the singer’s “The Pressure.”

Falling in line with the title and the song’s lyrics, the video reflects some of the pressures that Jhene feels in both her personal and professional life, with shots of her both at home with her daughter and all dressed up at a red carpet event.

The track is off her upcoming album Souled Out, which hits stores next Tuesday, September 9.

Last night, for her first (official!) date with Scott, Kira paired a lip print tank, plaid skirt, and fishnets. In theory, it is a lot to have going on in one outfit, but Kira manages to pull it all together, thanks in large part to that leather jacket.

We were so preoccupied by Kira’ shirt, that we barely realized she ended up surrounded by human skulls on her first date. Once we found the shirt for sale, though, we could direct our attention back to Kira being trapped in Mexico, Scott being turned into a berserker, etc.

We know it’s only two days into September, but that’s not stopping Demi Lovato from gettin’ into the fall spirit. Today, she posted a pic of herself already (!!!) testing out some Halloween-themed makeup for the Demi World Tour, which kicks off this weekend in Baltimore.

Alena played with her new dough to the tune of Jay Z’s “100$ Bills” from “The Great Gatsby” soundtrack. “My niece Alena has expensive taste,” Joe wrote in another Instagram post, which showed the baby with an innocent, gleeful look on her face. Something tells me she knows exactly what she’s doing.

When Wiz Khalifa recorded “Ass Drop” for his new album Blacc Hollywood, he says he was inspired by Vine and the viral nature of all of the twerk videos that emerge on the social networking site. Oh yeah, he was also inspired by his wife Amber Rose.

“My wife has a great ass and I get to see that all the time, so that’s inspiration in itself,” Khalifa told MTV News just one week before his album dropped in August.

Rose continued to inspire on Friday, when she dropped a twerk vid on Instagram to celebrate hubby’s first #1 album on the Billboard 200 charts.

Amber earned almost 300,000 likes on IG from that video alone, and that attention would make some men jealous, but not Wiz. “She loves the sh– out of me, bro; I love her, too. So I’m not worried.” he said confidently. “It just brings positive to our situation; it’s nothing negative.”

Instead, Khalifa is quite proud of he and Amber’s very public relationship. “Everybody’s like, ‘Oh, Wiz you’re the f–kin’ man, you’re so lucky,’” he said. “I’m like, ‘Yeah.’”

Usher is ready to launch his UR Experience, and on Tuesday (September 2), the singer announced his tour dates featuring August Alsina and DJ Cassidy.

In a super dramatic trailer for the upcoming tour, which starts first thing in November, Usher is seen training in Brooklyn Bridge Park. As he boxes in the street and busts his moves in the studio, we’re taken through the lead-up to when he takes the stage. It’s all very cinematic — slow motion, black and white — you get it.

Two weeks from today, Joell Ortiz’s solo album, House Slippers, will hit stores. But on Tuesday (September 2), he reunited with his Slaughterhouse cohorts for “Brothers Keeper,” off the upcoming release.

With The Heatmakerz on the beat, Joell, Crooked I, Royce da 5’9″ and Joe Budden prove that Slaughterhouse is more than a group; it’s a brotherhood. Sure, that sounds like the corny slogan of some high school football team, but if you listen to the way these dudes are rapping, it’s the truth.

“It’s much deeper than the art of rap/ It’s realer than me signing a few autographs, rocking my new Slaughter tats,” Crooked I raps, expressing feelings echoed by his groupmates in their respective verses.
