In an ideal world, Amy and Karma‘s couple charade could have fizzled out slowly and quietly before leaving anyone badly burned. But on tonight’s “Faking It” season finale, the wrong strings were pulled, and in a few quick minutes, everything came undone.

Karma, who finally got her wish of sleeping with Liam at the end of last week’s episode, seemed to awaken genuine feelings in the high school lothario. The problem: Liam wanted to go public as an exclusive pair, but Karma hadn’t yet revealed to Amy that she and Liam were together. And, of course, Karma couldn’t risk upsetting Amy, who was especially sensitive to any mention of the heartthrob.

Unfortunately, Shane spilled the beans before Karma could come clean. Already privy to Karmy’s deceit, he felt obligated to set the truth bomb off when he sensed his best bro was in too deep. The result: Liam almost immediately swore Karma off. And he wasn’t the only one…

Amy gave a touching speech at the wedding reception for her mother and Lauren‘s dad, speaking to the value of falling in love with one’s best friend. That’s when Karma finally realized Amy’s feelings for her were real — and she was suddenly forced to explain that they weren’t reciprocated. Get the chandeliers ready: Sia is getting ready to walk down the aisle.

The singer, whose full name is Sia Fuler, is reportedly engaged to filmmaker Erik Anders Lang.

At last week’s Wayuu Taya Gala, the “Chandelier” singer walked the red carpet wearing a ring on that finger and Lang — who works primarily in documentaries — later took to Instagram to confirm that it was indeed an engagement ring.

This will be the first marriage for Sia. Before dating Lang, Sia was in a long-term relationship with girlfriend JD Samson of Le Tigre. She has long been open about her bisexuality, telling the Australian gay and lesbian site SameSame that she sees past gender when it comes to love.

“Before I was actually successful I’d always said I’ve always dated boys and girls and anything in between. I don’t care what gender you are, it’s about people,” she said. “I didn’t just recently open up, I just recently got famous! I’ve always been… well, flexible is the word I would use.”

It’s no wonder Jake Rosati has adopted a scorned singer/songwriter vibe this season on “Awkward” — when you think about it, he’s got a pretty unfortunate track record with the ladies.

Since sophomore year, he’s broken up with Lissa to get close to Jenna, then got his heart trampled on by J-Town (who decided to pick things up with Matty, instead). Finally, he broke up with recent ex-girlfriend Tamara not once, but twice.

On tonight’s episode, though, Jake got a couple of reminders why — in spite of their differences — he and Lissa once got along so well. One reason: Lissa is truly goodwilled, as evidenced by the fact that she pacified Sadie after her food truck shift freakout. In spite of a few exceptions (let’s not forget that she cold-cocked Jenna in the courtyard), Palos Hills’ newest head cheerleader was always eager to keep the peace. More importantly, Jake was proud of how she’d become so confident.

“You’ve changed, too, Jake,” Lissa replied. “Tamara used to yank you around, but now you’re just more you.”

Every love story ebbs and flows, so should Jake and Lissa, who genuinely reconnected on tonight’s episode, give their relationship another chance? Take the poll!

Wilkinsburg rapper Hardo is finally back home after he was found not guilty Monday morning (June 9) of drug charges after appearing before a Common Pleas judge for a nonjury trial.

Hardo, who is affiliated with rap stalwarts Mac Miller and T.I., was arrested August 30, 2013 and charged with possession with intent to deliver after officers pulled him over for running a stop sign and discovered 250 individual stamp bags of heroin in a closed bag under the driver’s seat.

News of Hardo’s acquittal spread like wildfire, causing a litany of Pittsburgh’s biggest rappers to show their support via Twitter and Instagram.

T.I., who acknowledged Hardo’s talent while appearing on MTV News last year, took to IG to post a picture of his rap “potna” with a caption welcoming him back home.

“@trapnhardo found #NOTGuilty yest. “IM doin dis for black & yellow FREE HARDO!!!!” Guess God was listening. Come home & let’s get back to da GRIND my guy!!!!!! #lifeisgood #godisgreat #hustlegangovererrrrthang,” he wrote.

Others in Hardo’s inner circle like Chevy Woods followed suit.

As for Wiz Khalifa, he was just holding down Steel City until Hardo came home.

Not one to waste time, the rapper born Joseph Barnett hit the studio immediately after his release and dropped a taste of things to come with the new single, “Thug Motivation.”

Was that worth the wait, or what? “Pretty Little Liars” returned for its fifth season premiere on June 10, delivering a whopper of an episode that included a brand new murder, the resolution of an old one, and Broadway, baby! Let’s dig in to the night’s biggest reveals:

Baby’s First Murder
Well, that was quite the shock!

Our main gal Aria Montgomery — she of the hair streaks and forbidden love — became a murderer (in self defense!) at the end of the night, after it was revealed that Shana was A… well, one of the A’s, anyway. She was A-ish.

How did this all go down? Simple. After the ambulance came to collect Ezra, the Liars split up to coax A out of the hospital. Spencer, Hanna, and Emily went first and scouted him or her out in the lobby, then Aria and Alison arrived and somehow had the front desk call Alison over the loudspeaker. A perked up at this and followed Ali out of the hospital, with the non-Aria girls running behind to keep an eye on their friend/hopefully ambush A.

But of course, A was ten steps ahead of them, and when the ladies surrounded him in an abandoned playground, everything went straight to hell. “Are you sure that’s A?” a male voiced hissed. “Maybe I’m A… or maybe it’s one of them!”

At this, approximately 30 jerks dressed in black and donning “V For Vendetta”-ish masks closed in on the Liars, but thankfully they weren’t violent — they pretty much just danced ...

Honestly, we really don’t know what it means. But Eminem posted this image below on Instagram on Tuesday evening (June 10), with the caption, “More Thursday. #Equalizer.”

Maybe he contributed to the soundtrack for “The Equalizer”? Or possible has a role? A producer credit? Maybe he just wants to support Denzel Washington?

There were two celebrities missing from Kim and Kanye’s blowout wedding in Italy: Jay Z and Beyoncé.

On the big day, Bey sent her blessings via Instagram, then she and Mr. Carter camped out in the Hamptons, instead of making the trip overseas. Of course there were lots of questions about why Kanye’s “Big Brother” didn’t attend, and Kris Jenner has the answers — sort of.

On Tuesday (June 10), the Kardashian matriarch addressed the issue in an interview with Australian radio station KIIS 106.5 FM. And by “addressed,” we mean that she wormed her way out of giving a straight answer, pretty skillfully.

“There was so much commotion and excitement, I never really gave that a second thought,” Jenner claimed, via US Weekly. “If you had been there, you would have thought that was the last thing on anyone’s mind.”

“[I] just assumed they were working,” she added. Sure.

There was plenty of speculation that Jay and Bey were simply trying to keep a low profile after that elevator fight on the night of the MET Gala. Rachel Roy was rumored to be at the center of the drama, and the designer was definitely a guest at KimYe’s wedding.

“Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love. God bless your beautiful family,” Bey wrote to KimYe on Instagram, ahead of the wedding.

On Tuesday (June 10), a gunman opened fire at Reynolds High School, nearly Portland, Oregon, killing one student and himself. Just five days earlier, on June 5, a man killed one student and injured three others at Seattle Pacific University.

These two incidents are only the most recent in a string of school shootings over the past couple years. In fact, in the year and a half since Sandy Hook, there have been at least 74, according to Everytown, a group aiming to end gun violence in America. That number includes assaults, homicides, suicides, and accidental shootings.

To put that in perspective, that’s right around four shootings per month, and more than one a week. This map shows those 74 shootings, with those in red representing shootings at K-12 schools.
