There are things we know about 5 Seconds of Summer: they love banana pranks, look good in fake superhero costumes, have a thing for Ewoks and they are massive Green Day fans.

Which is why we’re not surprised that for the new issue of Kerrang! magazine, they joined former My Chemical Romance guitarist Frank Iero, Falling in Reverse, You Me At Six, Bowling for Soup, Rise to Remain, New Politics, Escape the Fate, the Blackout and others for a track-by-track cover of Green Day’s American Idiot album.

And they crushed it.

And fans, of course, lost their damn minds about it.

Repeatedly throughout the past twenty years, Harry Dunne has visited Lloyd Christmas in a mental institution. Lloyd, now in a wheelchair and sporting hair that would make Jim Carrey circa the 1999 MTV Movie Awards jealous, still reels from the trauma of losing the love of his life, Mary Samsonite Swanson, so many years ago. There’s nothing that Harry can do to shake his oldest friend from his deepest depression.

Unless … it’s all a gag.

The “Dumb and Dumber To” trailer has landed with all of the force of a catheter ripped from your loins, bringing viewers their first look at Carrey as Lloyd and Jeff Daniels as Harry since the 1994 Farrelly Brothers comedy classic. Sadly, it’s not our first time seeing Harry and Lloyd since then, but it’s the first time we’re seeing the true versions — and it looks like they haven’t skipped a beat.

The new movie sees Harry and Lloyd reunited after years of living separate lives. When they return to each other’s arms, they learn that Harry has a secret daughter he never knew about — a secret daughter that just might get Lloyd to forget about his Mary Swanson problems after all.

“Dumb and Dumber To” hits theaters on December 16.

From puppets to strippers to Karaoke with Korean businessmen, Ed Sheeran’s “Sing” video was definitely a “really weird” night out.

But it turns out, it was actually based on a real-life experience Ed had with the “Hangover” man himself, Psy.

Immediately following the airing of his MTV documentary, “Nine Days and Nights,” Ed sat down for the “Live From MTV” after show, where he revealed that a night of debauchery with Psy inspired his video.

“Basically the “Sing” video is based on a night out I had with him, and loads of his Korean mates. I went out on this night out with Psy and everyone was wearing a Psy mask in a Korean restaurant and they were all Korean and all wearing a Psy mask and I didn’t know which one was Psy, I had no clue,” Ed said. “I eventually found out who Psy was and he’s just a monster when it comes to…there’s this Korean drink called Soju and so anyway I had this night out and that’s what inspired the ‘Sing’ video with all the dancing and karaoke and stuff.”

The two have been in touch since, in fact, Psy decided to put his own spin on Ed’s song.

“He just did a remix for ‘Sing,’ and it’s sick, and it’s the coolest thing I’ve ever heard,” Ed said before saying that he isn’t too sure when or if the world will hear it. “Just before he came in here he texted me being like ‘question ...

We didn’t think it was possible for Ed Sheeran to make us fall even deeper in love with him in a span of 30 minutes, but after the premiere of his “Nine Days and Nights of Ed Sheeran” documentary on Tuesday night (June 10), he did just that.

Our favorite ginger singer-songwriter joined Christina Garibaldi and dozens of screaming fans for “Live From MTV Presents: Ed Sheeran The After Show” for fan questions, games, and a couple performances. It was clear to see why Sheeran is so easy to love as he chatted up his fans about their favorite parts of the documentary and rhythmically beat his hands on his thighs before the cameras were rolling.

From talking about how often he cuts his hair – every four or five months, in case you were wondering – and crashing on couches to games fit for one of the biggest cat-loving singers today, here are the seven moments from the after show that everyone will be talking about.

Move over, Emma Stone, Ed Sheeran just took the crown for best DJ Khaled cover. When the cowboy hat filled with rap songs came out for a game of “Sheeran Shake-Up,” the “Lego House” singer proved he was up for a little hoedown. Summoning his best country twang, Sheeran turned hits such as Snoop Dogg’s “Drop It Like It’s Hot,” Jay-Z’s “99 Problems,” R. Kelly’s “Ignition,” and DJ Khaled’s “All I Do Is Win” into instant country classics.
