Justin Bieber Shares Instagram With Selena Gomez… Then Deletes It

by 06/11/14

It’s hard to keep track of the rollercoaster on-again, off-again relationship of Jelena, and on Wednesday (June 11), Justin Bieber threw us for another loop.

The “Boyfriend” singer posted a photo Wednesday (June 11) to Instagram with his ex, Selena Gomez, cuddling his head with the caption “Our love is unconditional,” according to reports. He then promptly deleted the pic after causing a fan frenzy, but JustJared was able to nab a screenshot.

SInstagram

So mysterious! The pop stars got cozy with each other at Coachella back in April, but they haven’t been seen together since, with Selena recently taking to Instagram to announce she was “taking my power back” on Instagram.

Five ‘Awkward’ Clues That Jatty Are Never Ever Getting Back Together

by 06/11/14

Jatty have traveled a long and winding road together, but is one half of the on-again off-again PHHS pair finally ready to change lanes — for good?

On Tuesday night’s episode of “Awkward,” Jenna made it crystal clear that she wouldn’t leave her fro-yo triple date with Tamara and Luke to send Matty his college essay. Side note: J-Town actually sent it earlier in the evening, but Eva stirred up some drama and deleted the message. THE NERVE.

But this got us thinking that, after all these years, the famed blogger might finally be over her first love. Let’s look at the clues:

mtv_com_images_HDAKW403A_606305.jpg_1408560_1920x1080

1. She gave him space — and plenty of it. After discovering he was adopted, Matty tried to numb himself with sex. A concerned Jenna pushed him to open up, but he resisted and then gave her an ultimatum: Either drop the subject, or stay away. She chose the latter.

2. She didn’t bail him out of the clink. When Matty and Jake wound up in jail, Jenna didn’t come a runnin’. In fact, she said it wasn’t her “responsibility to be his savior anymore” and told Eva to contact his brother instead. In the end, though, it was Sadie who came to the guys’ rescue.

3. She’s got a new man. And that’s a pretty big clue, right? Luke is in college and Jenna is in high school, but no matter: The duo seem smitten ...

5SOS Want To Be ‘Wrapped Around Your Finger’: Read The Lyrics Here

by 06/11/14

The days cannot pass fast enough while we sit waiting for 5 Seconds Of Summer‘s debut album to finally arrive. It’s only been, oh, three years or so…

To keep us calm — or absolutely crazy, depending on how you look at it – the boys are releasing their Don’t Stop EP in just a few days, and they cannot stop teasing it. We’re still reeling over watching the boys run around in tights while fighting crime in the title track’s music video.

Today (June 11) 5SOS gave us another sneak peek of the four-track EP with the summer-romance lyrics to “Wrapped Around Your Finger.” If you thought that Green Day cover was unbelievable, then you’re going to melt into oblivion when you read this:

Throwing rocks at your window at midnight
You met me in your backyard that night
In the moonlight you looked just like an angel in disguise
My whole life seemed like a postcard
You were mine for a night
I was out of my mind
You were mine for a night
I don’t know how to say goodbye
Making all our plans in the Santa Cruz sand that night
Thought I had you in the palm of my hand that night
Screaming at the top of my lungs til my chest felt tight
I told myself that I’m never gonna be alright
You had me wrapped around your finger
I’m wrapped around your finger (x7)
Throwing rocks at your window at midnight
You met me in your backyard that night
You were mine for a night
I was out of ...

Three Shows That Prove That You Shouldn’t Go To (TV) College

by 06/11/14

Here’s one thing we hope is an absolute truth from “Pretty Little Liars” showrunner Marlene King’s reddit AMA yesterday: We won’t have to see the liars lie through college.

“There will be a time jump,” she said. “It may be on the TV show, or the movies we are starting to talk about, but there will be a time jump. We will ‘jump’ college.”

While normally we’d urge you to stay in school, for our own selfish reasons, we’re jumping for joy that we won’t have to DVR the girls’ lives as co-eds. These three recent past examples have shown us that when it comes to soapy shows, it’s best to bypass the books and jump ahead to the good part. After all, high school is nothing compared to how juicy adulthood can be.

“The O.C.”
The ultimate teen soap opera graduated (and, in one case, killed off, oops) its main cast at the end of Season 3, and its characters went their separate ways for the fourth and final season of the show. And guess what? It wasn’t awesome. Summer went to Brown, then came back, Taylor went to France, except she didn’t, and, ugh, everything was just all wrong.

“Glee”
No, but really: Is anyone going to say that the weird limbo of following the college kids to NYADA in New York while still trying to stay connected with the still-in-school McKinley kids worked? Anyone? That’s why we never heard from that girl with the lunch lady mom again, and we assume that now, ...

‘The Flash’: Meet Barry Allen’s Sidekicks In This Sneak Peek Video

by 06/11/14

One of our favorite pilots for the 2014-2015 television season is, by far, The CW’s remake of “The Flash” — and since no superhero is complete without some sidekicks, it’s pretty imperative that you watch this sneak peek featuring Barry Allen’s (Grant Gustin) S.T.A.R. Labs team. The video introduces us to boss Dr. Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanaugh), brilliant bioengineering expert Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), and fun-loving (but also brilliant) mechanical engineer Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes) as they help Mr. Allen adjust to his new found abilities — and use him as a lab rat, of course.

“The team members at S.T.A.R. Labs are as different as they are talented,” Cavanaugh explains. “They are extremely competent, one a little more rigid and determined — [played by] Danielle Panabaker — and the other a little more exuberant and spontaneous, but both extremely good at their jobs. Together we form a good team and actually have to bond in solidarity, because a lot of what was working for us gets taken away from us drastically, tragically, and then we have to build up on that to make a better future.”

… And kick some bad-guy butt, of course.

A real go-getter. Follow Shaunna on Twitter @ShaunnaLMurphy.

Listen To ‘Emotions,’ Jennifer Lopez’s Appropriately Titled Album Teaser

by 06/11/14

Top-tier entertainer and noted tight-pants enthusiast Jennifer Lopez has released a teaser for her upcoming eighth studio album, A.K.A., featuring new song “Emotions.”

Where does the track fall on a scale of one to weeping? Well, let’s just say that if I were ashamed to cry in public, I would be very, very ashamed right now.

As the black and white video cuts between gloriously flaw-free close-ups and wider shots at a piano, J. Lo navigates the vulnerable lyrics: “You’re playing games, playing games/ Now I’m taking names, taking names now/ And I don’t play no more, baby, this is game over.” Paging “Mortal Kombat,” because flawless victory.

Look for “Emotions,” “First Love,” “I Luh Ya Papi” featuring French Montana, “Acting Like That” featuring Iggy Azalea, and general mass panic and emotional hysteria when Ms. Lopez’s A.K.A. drops on June 17.

Travie McCoy, Daughtry Want To ‘Make A Band Famous’

by 06/11/14

Ask any garage-rocking musician what they wish for the most and, besides riches/fame/money/cars and other material possessions, it’s probably a chance to talk to one of their musical heroes and get some tips on how to really make it in the music business.

Enter VH1′s “Make a Band Famous,” , which will kick off with a 24-hour livestream event at 8 p.m. tonight (June 11) hosted by All-American Rejects singer Tyson Ritter. One of the best parts of the 24-band competition show will be the panel of celebrity mentors on-hand to offer advice to the bands. The list includes: Gym Class Heroes frontman Travie McCoy, Daughtry singer Chris Daughtry and platinum-dipped singer/songwriter Bonnie McKee (“California Gurls,” “Teenage Dream”).

They’ll work alongside the group of big-name judges: international pop star and Grammy nominee Natasha Bedingfield, Justin Timberlake/Maroon 5 musical director Adam Blackstone, YouTube singing sensation Kurt Hugo Schneider and Rooney singer/composer/producer Robert Schwartzman. Fall Out Boy’s Patrick Stump and Pete Wentz (who will appear on the show alongside Benji and Joel Madden, Ed Sheeran and Colbie Caillat) have already warned the acts that this competition will not be easy.

“We’re going to randomly dissassemble the bands and put them together like a crazy collage, we’re going to make 12 bands and make six bands,” Stump said. “We’ll call them ‘superbands.’” Viewers will be able to watch it all, including performances, interviews, live views of the green room, the judges’ opinions and the groups’ anxiety as they compete ...

A Devoted Ed Sheeran Fan Perfectly Sums Up His ‘Nine Days And Nights’ Documentary: ‘You’ll Fall In Love’

by 06/11/14

Last week, a small group of press and Ed Sheeran fans were invited to MTV in New York for an advanced screening of Ed Sheeran’s “Nine Days And Nights Of Ed Sheeran” documentary. We thought who better to review the hour-long look at the singer-songwriter than one of his very own Sheerios. So we asked Alexis Perez of NYCSHEERAN.tumblr.com. Here’s what she had to say:

alexisMy name is Alexis Perez.
I am 24 and live in in Manhattan. I’m a blogger, and I run an Ed Sheeran fan account NYCSHEERAN.tumblr.com. I update daily with news, pictures, videos, tour info about Ed Sheeran. I also keep in touch with many people who also have an interest in Ed Sheeran. I currently work with individuals with disabilities, teaching them about the magic and beauty of music.

One of my priorities in life is to promote and raise awareness about the essentials of music. Music has played an important role in my life and is the reason why I fell in love with Ed Sheeran. So, I was extremely excited when I found out there was going to be an Ed Sheeran documentary called “Nine Days And Nights of Ed Sheeran” on MTV. (Being a fan has its advantages!)

Get the story behind all of Ed Sheeran’s tattoos in our tat map!

I had so many expectations and can happily say that I was completely satisfied with the documentary. I’m so glad that MTV decided to ...

Don’t Rule Out A Karmy Coupling On Season 2 Of ‘Faking It’

by 06/11/14

Considering Karma somberly rejected Amy on the “Faking Itseason finale, it’s safe to say a romantic relationship isn’t in the cards for the lifelong BFFs…right?

Don’t be so sure, reveals the MTV comedy’s showrunner. In an interview with BuzzFeed, Carter Covington explained that nothing is out of the question for Hester High School’s most famous (fake) couple.

“Later down the road, when we’ve played out the circumstances we’re in now, [Karma] may come to realize, ‘Wow, I love Amy,’” he said. “‘She’s the person I’m closest to, and when we kissed, I was turned on. Should I have given it a shot?’ And maybe [Karma will] go on her own journey of discovery.”

But even if Karma does undergo a sexual renaissance and comes out ready for lady love, will she ever be able to get over the fact that her BFF and her would-be boyfriend Liam hooked up behind her back? “My intent is never to have the series end with Karma and Amy not best friends,” Covington assured fans. “It’s a journey of, ‘How do they hold onto that, and how do they keep going, because they love each other.’”

Phew — consider us talked off the ledge!

InterviewLauren

Let’s not forget that Shane and Lauren have some knots that need untying, as well. The former is coming to terms with the fact that he may not be the upstanding guy he thinks he is (spreading rumors about pill-popping certainly ...
