Did You Spot Every Hat In Pharrell’s New Music Video?

There may be a lot of girls in the video for Pharrell Williams' GIRL opener "Marilyn Monroe" — duh — but there are also more than a few hats. Yup, Skateboard P. has taken his already solid chapeau game to new heights with this one.

The video, which dropped Wednesday (April 23), features Williams dancing it up with an array of different ladies — including featured vocalist Kelly Osbourne going all Katniss with a bow and arrow.

Every type of woman is represented in the melange, from ballerinas to record store lurkers to a boxer to a bespectacled beauty chomping on an apple. "Girl, girl, girl" — Pharrell's surrounded.

And as if to complement the eclectic collection of female humanity in the vid, Pharrell makes sure to change up his headwear with every scene change: When he courts Marilyn Monroe 2.0, he sports a purple topper; while undulating around Osbourne, he boasts a brown hat with a hole in it (we're guessing from the aforementioned arrow); a red hat goes perfectly with an assemblage of sleek, modish dancers, etc.

Yup, Skateboard P's Grammy night headpiece — inspired by Malcolm McLaren and The World's Famous Supreme Team's music video for their 1982 hit "Buffalo Girls" — wasn't just an idle dalliance. It's apparently now a lifestyle.

Check out all of P's heady looks from "Marilyn Monroe" below:

Sorry Simba, ‘Frozen’ Soundtrack Is Now King Of The Charts

The soundtrack is now officially the all-time animated chart champ. After flirting with the record for most weeks at #1 by an animated movie album, Olaf, Elsa, Anna and Hans have done it, vanquishing Simba and the gang to the #2 spot in Billboard 200 history.

Biggest Week Ever
By notching its biggest sales week to date thanks to a 94 percent increase, "Frozen" easily took #1 for a record-setting 11th week
, besting the previous mark set by "The Lion King." With sales of nearly 259,000, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan, "Frozen" chugs past the 2.3 million mark, easily making it the year's best seller to date.

No One Else Is Even Close
Despite four new faces in the top five, nobody else even came close to pushing "Frozen" off its icy perch. Singer August Alsina's debut, Testimony, will come in at #2 (67,000), rockers NEEDTOBREATHE's Rivers in the Wasteland at #3 (49,000) and Jason DeRulo's career-high debut for Talk Dirty at #4 (44,000). Rounding out the top five is Ingrid Michaelson's latest, Lights Out, which moved almost 37,000 copies.

Eight months into its chart run, Lorde's Pure Heroine got another healthy bump, jumping up 62 percent and four spots to #8 on sales of 26,000, putting her on the cusp of 1.2 million in sales.

Nas Is Still Ill
The 20th anniversary re-issue of Nas' landmark Illmatic
album drops in at #14 on sales of 15,000, just behind the Disney karaoke album of "Frozen" songs (#17, 15,000).

"It was exciting and just a major, major compliment," she told the magazine. "And especially, I was happy for all the girls who would see me on [it] and feel a little more seen."

The cover went to Gwyneth Paltrow last year, and as she told the "Today" show in a pre-taped interview, the honor was something she never expected.

"What an incredible journey to go from that feeling to being on the cover of this magazine. I mean, you could have never told me that that would happen when I was 16 and insecure about my complexion," she said. "I hope it means something to more than just me, to people like me who feel unbeautiful in whatever skin they're in."

Nyong'o was born in Mexico and raised in Kenya and told People that she first associated beauty with what she saw on television, which was "light skin and long, flowing straight hair." Yet, it was her mother Dorothy that made Lupita realize her beauty saying that "I finally I believed her at some point."

5 Seconds Of Summer’s New York City Fans Are Like ‘A Good Version’ Of Tinder

NEW YORK CITY — "New York, make some noise! We're 5 Seconds of Summer," the Australian pop-punk band exclaimed as they took the stage Tuesday night, as if anyone in attendance needed the introduction. Their salutation, most likely a habit formed when opening for One Direction on the Take Me Home Tour, is now unnecessary seeing that fans began lining up outside the sold-out Best Buy Theater more than a day before doors even opened.

Amongst these 5SOS enthusiasts was 20-year-old Danielle Denigris who got to the venue at 10 p.m. the night prior.

"I love how energetic they are onstage, and how they have their own sort of sound," she told MTV News. "Waiting in line for 20 hours was definitely worth it because they're one of my favorite bands and I was within two feet of them."

The guys kicked off their set with "Eighteen" and performed a slew of fan-favorites, including all four songs from their new EP, She Looks So Perfect, plus a well-received rendition of Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream."

Following the KP cover, the group flirted with the ladies in the audience, comparing their New York fans to a long distance relationship or an online romance. The guys said that finally seeing everyone was "kind of like Tinder — a good version — or 'Catfish' — turned out good."

Fan Paige Baltzersen witnessed the show front and center. The 21-year-old managed to shimmy her way up to the third row.

"Being that close was insane, even seeing, like, their hair color and, like, their facial expressions it was crazy," she ...
