Lil Boosie’s First Post-Prison Album Is Coming Soon

In his earliest post-prison interview following his release in March, Lil Boosie said that he had more than 1,000 songs written. And now we know when we'll be hearing some of them.

"July 15, I'm hitting 'em with my album," the Louisiana-bred rapper told Complex. "It's a classic, man. I'm just ready to drop it. You know, I ain't wanna come home and play with the mixtape game and all of that. I wanted to come home and hit 'em hard, get that machine behind it, be successful and show the world."

The project, which is slated to drop on Atlantic Records, will be the first album Bad Azz releases since coming home. And he's bringing some friends ‒ who happen to be a few of rap's biggest names, too ‒ along for the comeback.

"I got Jeezy on a record; I got 2 Chainz on a record; I got T.I. on a record," he said with a combination of nonchalance and confidence. "I'm working on getting some more people. The album almost finished. We just gotta get the features, and the samples cleared."

He also said he's returned the favor by knocking out features for all three. Plus, plenty more have reached out, from rappers like Rick Ross, Meek Mill and Game to comedians like Katt Williams and Mike Epps.

Back in March, Boosie made it clear that he had high hopes for both his album and the trajectory of his career. "My music always been based off telling stories and now I really got a lot of stories to ...

All The Times Justin Bieber Has Been A Bumbling Tourist

Being a tourist can be rough. There's the jetlag, the question of whether to fanny pack or not, the danger of making a buffoon out of oneself because one fails to honor local customs. Yup, it's a minefield, one made even more minefield-esque when you travel as much as Justin Bieber.

The Biebs has managed to stick his foot in it in more than a few places over the years — although most of the time with the best of intentions. His most recent folly? He took a photo of himself in Tokyo in front of a very infamous landmark: the Yasukuni Shrine, which honors former military leaders from Japan's imperial army who committed war atrocities in China and other regions in Asia during the Pacific War.

"I was mislead to think the Shrines were only a place of prayer," Bieber said of the incident, deleting the photo, which had racked up 660,000 likes in the meantime.

"Oops" is a word that could be used in this case — times a thousand.

Check out four more times Bieber was slapped on the wrist by the almighty museum guard we call life.

1. The Anne Frank House

If you've been to the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam in the last year, you have likely seen gaggles of teenage girls flipping through the guestbook. Why? Because the Biebs once etched onto its pages the now immortal words: "Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber," referring to the teenage Holocaust victim.

Bieber's comment drew ire from ...

‘Love And Other Foreign Words’ Author Wants One Direction For Movie

If you're the type of literature-loving pop culturalist who likes to read a story before you see it on the big screen, you should clear some space ASAP in your schedule for "Love and Other Foreign Words."

Hollywood has been drooling over this smart new YA romance since way back in 2012, with movie rights snapped up nearly two years before it was set to release. And with the book finally hitting shelves next week, MTV News checked in with author Erin McCahan to get some inside dirt on what to expect from the novel, why contemporary teen love stories are such a hot ticket right now, and which celebs she wants to see bringing her characters to life on the big screen.

"Love and Other Foreign Words" centers on Josie, a linguistically inclined teenager who thinks of every social group as though it's a foreign country: one with its own customs, culture, and most importantly, language.

But where Josie has learned to be fluent in a host of social languages, she still doesn't understand love — which is a problem, because her older sister, Kate, is about to get married to a guy so atrocious that Josie just knows she's making a terrible mistake.

Needless to say, Josie is a fresh kind of character in an oeuvre that's been dominated lately by tough-girl actionistas — and she's not out to compete with them, either.

"I love the action-hero girls we're seeing now in a lot of YA, especially the characters who employ their wits along with specific physical skill sets," ...

Spoiler Alert: Fan Favorite Character Comes To ‘Batman Eternal #3’

Every week, DC Comics is releasing a new issue of the epic mega-series "Batman Eternal." And spoiler alert with the release of issue #3, the publisher has reintroduced an eagerly demanded, fan favorite character: Stephanie Brown, also known as The Spoiler.

To find out more about her reintroduction, and break down the other epic moments in the issue, we talked to writer Scott Snyder:

MTV News: Let's talk about Stephanie Brown's intro. Why was it important to bring her back this way?

Scott Snyder: The key was bringing her back in a way that would honor her in a way, what she was before the New 52 relaunch, while still keeping her something that has a new purpose, a new status, and a new definition.

It really began with her old title of Spoiler. Back in the day she was referred to as Spoiler because she spoils all the plans of her father and bad guys, and so on. Here, the new definition, the popular definition has so much to do with revealing secrets before you're supposed to.

We thought it would be great if we could reinvent her with a similar origin, but make her one of the key figures in all of "Eternal" because she knows things before anyone else does.

So as the series continues she becomes one of the most wanted women in Gotham. Not just because of the stuff she learns with Cluemaster here, but the stuff she learns as the series goes on. She becomes an incredibly powerful figure, and a really important character to the entire ...

Jodie Foster Got Married This Weekend

Jodie Foster is no longer — as she said in her quasi-coming-out 2013 Golden Globes speech — single.

The actress married photographer Alexandra Hedison over the weekend, a rep confirmed to E! News on Wednesday (April 23). The couple have been together for about a year. They first got together last summer.

In July 2013, Foster spoke about coming out while accepting the Cecil B. Demille Award for a lifetime of achievement at the Golden Globes, first faking out the crowd: "I'm just going to put it out there, loud and proud, right? So I'm going to need your support on this. I am... single."

The rest of her acceptance was an anti-coming out speech.

"There won't be a big coming-out speech tonight," she said. "Because I already did my coming out about a thousand years ago in the Stone Age, in those very quaint days, when a fragile young girl would open up to trusted friends and family and co-workers and then gradually, proudly to everyone who knew her to everyone she actually met," she said.

"But now apparently, I'm told that every celebrity is expected to honor the details of their life with a press conference, a fragrance, and a prime time reality show. You guys might be surprised, but I am not Honey Boo Boo Child. I'm sorry. That's just not me, it never was, and it never will be, but please don't cry because my reality show would be so boring."

MTV News' request for comment was not returned by press time.

Sam Claflin Is Scared Of Literally Everything: Watch

Sam Claflin went from YA hero in the "Hunger Games" to horror movie star with his new film So clearly, he's a pretty brave guy.

And our own Josh Horowitz took that assessment to heart when Claflin stopped by the MTV newsroom recently for an episode of

"I guess I'm just going to start calling you Sam Claflin, Master of Fear," Josh said.

"Well, if the shoe fits," Sam responded.

But when Josh began taking the young star around the office, he noticed some strange behavior. Sam seemed a little, well, on edge, especially when Josh took out the scariest of all office supplies: the stapler.

Sam broke out in a cold sweat, though he denied it was because of the stapler. "I'm English," he said by way of an excuse.

Ok, that's not a bad excuse. But things didn't get any better after the stapler, as Sam grew increasingly frightened about everything from a cardboard cutout of Chris Hemsworth to a plush E.T. doll. It all led to a final confrontation involving Sam, Josh ... and a baseball bat.

Watch all of Sam's fears come to life in this terrifyingly hilarious video. We guarantee it's scarier than anything you'll see in theaters. Well, except for "The Quiet Ones," out everywhere April 25.
