Coachella’s Warrior Goddesses: Mary J. Blige, Lana Del Rey, Little Dragon And Blondie Herself!

INDIO, California — Under a full moon, Sunday night at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was dominated by the powerful female, with heart-wrenching performances from Lana Del Rey and Little Dragon's Yukimi Nagano and surprise appearances from none other than Mary. J. Blige and Blondie herself, Debbie Harry.

The fellas, even Justin Bieber — taking the stage in the middle of the afternoon in support of Chance the Rapper with "Confident" — got in on the action, with Jhené Aiko presenting the festival's first appearance from Drake.

U.K. brothers Disclosure brought out Mary J. Blige for "F for You," and also featured Aluna Francis (of AlunaGeorge, who performed earlier in the night) on "White Noise," followed up by their smash "Latch," with an appearance by Sam Shepard.

Elsewhere, the dance scene was handled by Duck Sauce, Calvin Harris, Big Gigantic and Laurent Garnier, who killed it in the beautiful Yuma building.

Beck brought it down at over at the main stage, and Arcade Fire's theatrical Win Butler (always phenomenally backed by his wife, Régine Chassagne) wouldn't let the festival's official midnight curfew keep him from jumping into the audience after their perfect weekend-ending dance-up "Here Comes the Night Time" and "Wake Up" singalong.

Hard-rock fans would tell you if you didn't see legendary metal pioneers MotÖrhead, you missed the festival. Slash was onboard for "Ace of Spades" and more, and drummer Mikkey Dee pummeled the crowd.

Coachella kicked off Friday with the reunion of OutKast. Saturday's show included Lorde, alongside Pharrell, Nas, Skrillex, MGMT, Kid Cudi and Muse.

Chris Pratt Marvels At ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Future

In a few months, Chris Pratt flies into the Marvel Cinematic Universe's cosmos as Star-Lord, the hero of

As Star-Lord, Pratt plays a human wandering the stars, stealing high-value artifacts and sleeping with as many alien women as he can. In other words, he's a bit of a jerk — a jerk that Pratt hopes to inhabit for years and years to come.

"I hope people really like it, and I hope I get to play that character for a very long time," Pratt told MTV's Josh Horowitz at the Movie Awards. "I think Marvel's been very smart about projecting into the future and what they're putting on their slate. It's based on what people like, so we'll put this movie out there and see how people react to it. Who knows?"

For now, the hard part's over. Pratt and the rest of his cast have completed production on "Guardians of the Galaxy," with director James Gunn and the Marvel team now working on polishing the finished product.

"They're cutting it together and loving everything that they see," said Pratt. "They're being very careful about what they release and very smart about getting people excited without giving away what the movie's about and not giving away the best jokes or story. I think people are very fired up to see it, and don't know what to expect."

"That's the best way to see a movie," he continued. "If I'm really excited to see something, and I have no idea what I'm about to see, I love that. I think that can be ...

‘Game Of Thrones’: 7 Burning Questions About Joffrey’s Big Night

Warning: Major "Game of Thrones" spoilers are ahead. Turn away now unless you're all caught up.

"Ding, dong, the witch is dead..."

If that "Wizard of Oz" tune is playing on an endless loop in your head right now, and has been since last night, then you know what we know: At long last, pulled the trigger and killed off the most wicked individual in the universe this side of Adele Dazeem.

That's right: Joffrey Baratheon is dead, dead, dead. Did we mention dead? He's totally dead, and it's totally wonderful.

As much as we want to rejoice, there are too many questions surrounding Joff's death to enter party mode now. Here are a few of our burning questions stemming from the Purple Wedding:

Seriously, That Happened, Right?
Oh, it happened. But you could be forgiven for thinking otherwise. "Game of Thrones" rarely pulls its punches, but usually, it's beloved characters like Ned and Robb Stark on the receiving end of the twist. It's rare that the axe falls on one of the show's main villains, let alone a Lannister — let alone the most loathsome Lannister by far.

But it happened. It really, really happened, and it was ah-mazing.

Who Killed Joffrey?
Ah, that's the million-copper question, isn't it? The list of suspects is long. Ser Dontos looks like he's involved somehow, based on how quickly he got to the scene and came to Sansa's side. Was Sansa the one who gave the kill order? It doesn't feel likely; if Sansa was involved, we would have seen her put the wheels in motion, ...

MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet: The Hottest Fashion Moments

Talk about a breath of fashion fresh air! Not to toot our own horns, but the MTV Movie Awards are sort of the crown jewel of the spring awards show season. Sure, the winter red carpets like the Golden Globes and Oscars are steeped in unrivaled glamour, but let's be honest: It's really nice to finally see a little leg.

The 2014 Movie Awards certainly didn't let us down in the skin department (and we're not just talking about shirtless Zac Efron). First of all, did you see Rihanna? The little more than lingerie — a satin, corseted bodysuit and a billowing sheer robe, both Ulyana Sergeenko. #phreshouttheboudoir.

Check Out Our Gallery Of All The Hottest Red Carpet Moments

Of course, Miss Fenty is a bit of a fashion unicorn (in that she can and will pull off anything). But there were plenty of other examples of spring skin, from the overt to the peekaboo. Pre-show co-host Zendaya served a ton of leg in a long-sleeve neon Ungaro dress with a very high, right-justified slit, while presenter Rita Ora went for a somewhat opposite approach, keeping her hem floor-length and modest but her neckline very, very revealing.

Above all else, subtle skin was the MVP of the night's red carpet. Shailene Woodley let her olive-hued, all-leather-everything Balmain ensemble breathe with a little crop top action, while Ellie Goulding flashed some flesh via waist cutouts on either side of her white Armani gown. Even more stealth were the sheer moments along the sides of Nicki Minaj's Alexander McQueen and ...

Harrison Ford Doesn’t Know, Doesn’t Care If Han Shot First

Not long from now, in our very galaxy, a new "Star Wars" movie will arrive.

J.J. Abrams' is scheduled to land on December 18, 2015, and while we continue to wait for an official cast announcement, it's widely believed that many of the original trilogy's players, including Harrison Ford, will reprise their roles.

If Ford returns as Han Solo, it'll be something of a miracle. The actor has been famously rough around the edges when it comes to "Star Wars," and talking about his time playing the Millennium Falcon pilot and smuggler. Ford did little to change that perception during a Reddit appearance over the weekend, promoting his new Showtime documentary series, "Years of Living Dangerously."

For example, Ford was asked to weigh in on one of the hottest topics of debate among "Star Wars" fans: Who shot first in that famous "Episode IV" cantina scene, Han Solo or Greedo?

"I don't know," he answered, "and I don't care."

Insert the sounds of Figrin D'an's sad Kloo horn here:

Ford's cold "Star Wars" responses didn't end there. When asked if he was still mad at Lando, Han's old buddy from Cloud City, Ford replied with: "Lando who?" He also gave a matter-of-fact answer about how he became involved with the "Star Wars" films to begin with:

"I was approached with the offer of a job, which at that point, was all I wanted to hear. I had helped George Lucas audition other actors for the principle parts, and with no expectation or indication that I might be considered for the ...

James Cameron To Film Next Three ‘Avatar’ Sequels Simultaneously

Nearly five years have passed since we last set foot on Pandora, the world that houses the Na'vi of But when we return to Jake Sully's new home, we'll be there for a while.

It's no secret that James Cameron has been working on sequels to "Avatar," his record-breaking action-adventure epic starring Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana. The first sequel has been earmarked for release in 2016 — and now, we can expect the subsequent sequels to arrive shortly thereafter, as Cameron has confirmed that he will shoot three new "Avatar" films at the same time — much like the "Matrix," "Lord of the Rings" and "Hobbit" trilogies.

"The second, third and fourth films all go into production simultaneously," the writer-director revealed during his Reddit Ask Me Anything over the weekend. "They're essentially all in pre-production now because we are designing creatures, settings and characters that span all three films. And we should be finished with all three scripts within the next, I would say, six weeks."

Cameron added that he's feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed about where the "Avatar" sequels are headed — though right now, his top priority is getting the work done.

"There's always pressure, whether it's a new film or whether it's a sequel, to entertain and amaze an audience," he said. "I've felt that pressure my entire career, so there's nothing new there. The biggest pressure I feel right now is cutting out things I love to get the film down to a length that is affordable. There hasn't been a problem finding new ...
