Miley Cyrus’ Bangerz Tour Has Everything: Cornstalk Dancers, Twerking And… Education?

Miley Cyrus' Bangerz Tour is one of the most anticipated treks of 2014, promising a wardrobe by Marc Jacobs and Jeremy Scott and, hopefully, backup dancers dressed as cornstalks.

Yet, here's something you probably wouldn't expect: It will also be educational. That's right Smilers, the "Adore" you singer wants you to pay close attention when you see her in action starting February 14 in Vancouver, because you may actually learn something.

"I hope people open their minds and they look at my tour as something that I do feel is educational for kids," Cyrus told MTV News on Thursday. "Because I think a lot of people aren't exposed to art enough and that's something that I had to learn about. It wasn't until I turned 21 that I wanted to learn because I'm from Nashville, that is not something that they care about they pretty much teach you everything in the world as black and white and I want my fans to walk away knowing more about the art that inspires me."

And with the help of "Ren & Stimpy" creator John Kricfalusi, Miley will bring that art to life as she perfectly calculates every detail of this tour to "really tell a story."

"It's a lot how a play would be and we've got kind of these intermissions to keep people really involved and what I wanted is for people to see a show that they would least expect," Cyrus explained. "It is fun for people to walk out and be like 'Oh my god did she just do ...

Bald Or Bold? We Rank Jesse Eisenberg Against Other Lex Luthors

Are you guys ok? Cause I still can't believe Jeremy Irons is Alfred #michaelcaineforever.

Just kidding. We're still shocked over the announcement that Jesse Eisenberg will play Lex Luthor, a.k.a. Superman's greatest nemesis, in

As the Internet explodes (and Ben Affleck breathes a sigh of relief), try to lower your ever-rising pulse rate as we guide you through a history of actors who have played Luthor to see how Eisenberg stacks up. You might be surprised at the results.

Gene Hackman, "Superman: The Movie"

Trademarks: Big Hair, Toothy Smile, Wry Wit, Fast-Talker, Middle-Aged

It's hard to top Hackman, who holds the honor of being not just the first live-action Luthor, but also probably the best.

Hackman's Luthor has lots of hair (at least until it's revealed to be a toupee) but the biggest similarity between the two is their acerbic wit. Hackman's Luthor has a superiority complex but is also self-deprecating. Sounds like Eisenberg to us.

Kevin Spacey, "Superman Returns"

Trademarks: Bald, Heavy, Threatening, Cunning, Deep-voiced, Middle-Aged

If we had to pick a polar opposite to Jesse Eisenberg, it would probably be Kevin Spacey. I got nothing, but fun fact: Kevin Spacey was a producer on "The Social Network." #themoreyouknow

John Shea, "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman"

Trademarks: Thin, Hair, Businessman, Charming, Well-Groomed, Middle-Aged

Shea's Luthor is a rich, charming businessman in well-tailored suits. Eisenberg has experience playing a millionaire businessman, but we'd imagine Superman wouldn't be that threatened by a kid in shorts and a hoodie.

Michael Rosenbaum, "Smallville"

Trademarks: Thin, Bald, ...

Big Sean Is Forced To Dig His Own Grave In New ‘Ashley’ Video

Love hurts, and it's a lesson that Big Sean has to learn in his new video for "Ashley," the latest single from his Hall of Fame LP.

In the cinematic vid, which Sean released to the Internet on Friday (January 31), the G.O.O.D. Music rapper is kidnapped, beaten and forced to dig his own grave at the behest of a psycho couple.

Directed by Ellis Bahl, "Ashley" opens with Sean in a bed with a woman. He soon leaves to head to an underground parking lot where he's attacked and then abducted. The song is about Sean's real-life ex-girlfriend, Ashley, though the video isn't autobiographical é I hope.

The track features Miguel on the hook, but the crooner doesn't appear in the video. In fact, there are no performance scenes at all, just the Detroit rapper in full character.

While in captivity, Sean is forced to watch his male and female kidnappers have sex as he's tied to a chair and repeatedly beaten. It's all pretty sick. The bloodied rap star is eventually able to escape the motel room where he's being held, only to be shot, recaptured and forced to dig his own grave in the desert.

As the four-minute-plus video fades to black and the music dies down, a single gunshot rings out signifying Sean's death ... though I'm pretty sure he'll be back.

Redman Upgraded His MTV ‘Crib’ And ‘Beyonce’d The Bathroom’

Who could forget Redman's classic 2001 episode of "MTV Cribs," when Funk Doctor Spock invited us into his De La Casa? Well, the ferocious lyricist invited MTV's to revisit his Staten Island, New York, residence ... now that he's made some home improvements.

Typically, "MTV Cribs" would showcase only the most lavish celebrity abodes, but Red's home was anything but. To ring the doorbell, visitors had to rub two wires together and step over his cousin, who was sleeping on the floor. But more than a decade later, Reggie has turned his De La Casa into what he calls his "De La Castle."

The special tour is all part of "Retromania," a new 60-minute special that pays homage to the 1990s and 2000s and officially kicks off on Saturday, February 1 at 2:30 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.

All week, MTV viewers have been treated to previews of some hilarious "Retromania" segments, airing in between fan-favorite series like "Run's House." The Saturday launch week will culminate with the one-hour special "Retromania: Hip Hop." Celebs from 2 Chainz to Mac Miller and the Backstreet Boys to One Direction are all getting in on the action.

Red redid his kitchen and traded his infamous 'dollar box' for a dollar sock. He also bought a bigger television for his bedroom and changed the tiles in his bathroom.

"The tiles, look at them right here. Me and my boy Bush, we went in, we put in work, we Beyoncé'd the bathroom; upgraded it," he said before noticing his shower curtains.

"I don't know if this is the same ...

A Rap Battle With Black Hippy? Slaughterhouse Sounds Off

Hypothetical battles between the game's best MCs have been conversation-starters for rap fans for years. For many, the latest wishful scenario is the Black Hippy quartet of Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ab-Soul and Jay Rock facing off against Slaughterhouse's four-headed monster.

"I just think that it would be eight MCs going for theirs," Crooked I — one quarter of the Slaughter — said of the idea on "RapFix Live" Wednesday. "And it's kind of dope that people would want to see that."

When asked if anyone — Black Hippy, or otherwise — would stand a chance against him and his crew, the Cali native didn't mince words.

"No," Crooked I said matter-of-factly. "But let me tell you something: That's not a shot, because I really appreciate what they do. But as a rapper, I feel like I'm supposed to believe that, when I get on the court, nobody could see me. That's just what I'm supposed to do. But that doesn't stop me from being a fan of other great lyricists."

Though he expressed confidence in his squad, Royce da 5'9" suggested that it wouldn't be the kind of battle fans might imagine.

"I don't think we pair up as easy," Royce said. "I don't think that we're in the same lane. I think that we get compared to them because we're crews. But I'm not so sure that me and Schoolboy [Q] could really go at each other, with what he does, versus what I do. It's not really the same thing."

Neither Joe Budden nor Joell Ortiz spoke on ...

TLC Bring The House Down At Super Bowl Concert: Watch Now

NEW YORK — On day four of their Super Bowl Blitz concert series, VH1 treated fans to a live performance from legendary girl group TLC at Beacon Theater.

The show kicked off on Thursday night with a drum line through the aisle-ways that lead to the stage. There, TLC's two surviving members, Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas opened up with 1991's "Ain't 2 Proud 2 Beg."

The duo sported orange coveralls (of course, Chilli added some sex appeal to hers by unzipping it down to the navel), and their backup dancers rocked similarly paint-splattered 'fits.

"We ain't playin' with you all tonight," Chilli shouted before launching into "What About Your Friends," the third single from their debut album "Oooooooohhh ... On the TLC Tip.

Because the event was to be televised, the pair were forced to stop briefly during commercial breaks, but they kept the show going for the in-house audience with medleys of "Kick Your Game," "Hat 2 Da Back" and more.

Rap veteran Doug E. Fresh served as the evening's hype man, keeping the audience on their feet — he even Dougie'd at one point! — when the ladies weren't center-stage.

Mid-performance, TLC traded in their jumpsuits for all-black ensembles, slowing things down with a sexy chair performance of "Red Light Special."

Although the audience predictably went nuts for fan favorites "Creep" and "No Scrubs," it was the group's dramatic presentation of "Waterfalls" that really brought ...
