Right after announcing the July 29 release of his sophomore album PARTYNEXTDOOR TWO, PARTYNEXTDOOR let loose the project’s pre-order bonus track, “Recognize,” featuring OVO Sound’s head owl Drake.
Party rides the trance-hop track with his signature raunchy falsetto, crooning quotable phrases like, “turn f–king you into a habit.”
“I want you, I want you to turn up on me every night when I see you/ Better recognize when I see you,” he sings on the hook.
Not surprisingly, Drizzy plays the homerun hitter for the song, spitting lines about buying his woman a Mercedes, who she has sex with when he’s not in town and, most notably, their sexual voyeurism.
