Baby Jonas is here, and new dad Kevin is “so in love.”
On Sunday (February 2), just as everyone was gearing up for Super Bowl XLVIII, Kevin and Danielle Jonas welcomed their first child, a baby girl, Alena Rose Jonas.
Not long after her arrival, Kevin’s brothers and former bandmates Joe and Nick sent their well wishes to the new parents, whose baby’s birth comes just days after the passing of their grandfather.
Kevin shared his excitement of his daughter’s arrival by keeping fans up-to-date until the birth, sharing a photo of the hospital monitor and tweeting that Danielle had started pushing.
Following the birth, the “Married to Jonas” stars, who announced they were expecting in July, released a statement and a photo of Alena Rose, saying they were “overjoyed” with the birth of their daughter.
“She is precious! We could not be more excited to start building our family together,” the couple said. They’ve been married since 2009. “We want to thank our family and friends for their love and support, and our fans for all of their well wishes.”
