When you’re getting chased by paparazzi and getting blasted by the media, sometimes you just need to get away from it all — especially if you’re Justin Bieber.
And as much as Bieber loves getting smothered by his fans (see evidence in this Instagram), a bowling date with mom is a great way to escape the chaos.
It turns out that JBiebs is good at bowling too. His mom, Pattie Mallette? Well, she’s OK too, in my opinion.

Justin, who released two free songs on Monday, can be seen prepping his bowling stance at the top of the alley. Feet apart, back to the pins, and a quick toss to of the ball. If it works for him, it works for me.

Pattie goes with the more traditional stance, while Justin films the whole thing. As she wobbles and misses a few pins, Justin playfully jabs her in a mock post-game interview. “I still love you though,” he says.
