We’re always confused about whether or not Andre 3000 will be putting out another album, or if he seriously plans to retire from rap — but the latest update sounds encouraging for a project.

During an interview with Life + Times, in support of his upcoming Jimmy Hendrix biopic, Three Sacks also fielded some questions about music. He confirmed that there’s no OutKast album on the horizon, but added that he’s ready to buckle down and record his own project.

“After this tour I’ve been thinking about recording this album that I always wanted to record,” he said. “We’re both working on solo albums. Big Boi is damn near through with his next album. I think after we finish this last show on October 31 in New Orleans, I’d love to get in the studio and see if I can conjure something up.”

That’s the best news we’ve heard about an Andre album in a long time.

He also addressed the comparisons between himself and ATL newcomer, Raury.

“There’s a fair comparison with Raury. I think Raury is stepping out and pushing it though,” he said. “That’s fair considering he’s not a straight and narrow kind of artist and going for his own thing. I just saw him the other day when he opened up for us in Atlanta and I think he’s a dreaming artist with good ideas and I hope he’ll grow and we give him his room to grow.”

Over the past two years, 5 Seconds Of Summer have ascended to the chart-topping heights of pop music, and One Direction have played a vital role in that journey since the beginning. But according to a new report, the lads have more than just a personal stake in 5SOS’ success.

On Friday (October 3), Billboard confirmed that the five members of 1D — Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson — collectively hold a 50-percent stake in the London-based company known as 5SOS LLP.

Based on those shares, each of the “Steal My Girl” singers has earned approximately $25,000 based on the Australian pop-punk outfit’s music sales alone, Billboard estimates.

This means that 5 Seconds Of Summer — made up of Ashton Irwin, Calum Hood, Luke Hemmings and Michael Clifford — weren’t the only ones benefiting from the exposure and sales boost they received by touring with the British-Irish boy band. (The “Good Girls” singers served as one of the opening acts on 1D’s Take Me Home Tour in 2013 and Where We Are Tour in 2014.)

One Direction’s investment in 5SOS’ future was an investment in their own, or as one anonymous insider told Billboard: “They’re going to put someone on as the opening act on the tour anyway, why not put somebody that they have a financial interest in?”

Hip-hop has been bridging cultural gaps since the early 1980s, when the music and art form spread from New York City to the world. Now, people from all walks of life participate in hip-hop, and since we’re in the middle of National Hispanic Heritage Month, we’d like to look at the contributions and influence from the game’s best Latino and Hispanic MCs.

In no particular order (because we just couldn’t pick our favorites — except Pun, he’ll will always be #1), here are 18 of the most influential Latino rappers in hip-hop.

1. Big Pun

There were a number of Latino rappers who came before Pun, but the Puerto Rican spitter was the first solo Latin MC to go platinum. He made hits and never sacrificed his lyrical ability. Not only was he the greatest Latino spitter of all-time, he holds his place among all the greats.

2. B-Real

The Cypress Hill frontman has been at it for nearly 25 years. Not only has B-Real influenced a whole slew of rappers (and stoners), the Mexican and Cuban MC is one of hip-hop’s best performers ever.

3. Pitbull

To earn his first major look on the “Fast and Furious” soundtrack, Pitbull had to battle Ruff Ryders rapper Drag-On, and he’s been repping for Latinos ever since. You can’t have a list of Latino rappers without Mr. 305.

4. Fat Joe

You have to salute the Don Cartagena. Not only does he have a number of hits under his name (“We Thuggin,” ...

Most of the so-called “Freaks” from “American Horror Story: Freak Show” will be covered in make-up and prosthetics to achieve their two-headed or three-breasted look, but not Mat Fraser — because the actor behind “Paul the Illustrated Seal” was born with phocomelia, which is the cause of the malformed limbs that lend to the “seal” look.

“Freak means a radically different person onstage, entertaining with their radical difference,” Fraser says in this behind-the-scenes video, which “AHS” creator Ryan Murphy shared on Twitter with the hashtag, #WeAreAllFreaks. “I cannot help but exploit my physique when I’m performing. I think what’s interesting about me is my personality.”

The rest of the video, which includes footage from the new season and more interviews with Fraser, is both fascinating and inspiring, which is pretty amazing coming from a show that famously featured Ian McShane dressing up like Santa Claus and murdering people.

“For me, when you’re disabled, the two things people think you can’t do are fight and have sex,” Fraser continues. “So I’ve got a black belt, and I’m really good at shagging.”

In case you haven’t heard by now, we here at MTV News love The CW’s pilot for “The Flash.” A lot.

So imagine our surprise and delight when the network offered up this trailer of the extended — yep, extended — premiere, with footage of Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) dodging bullets “Matrix”-style, showing you up on the treadmill, and even conferring with crossover guest star Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell).

Yep, next Tuesday (October 7) is going to be pretty awesome.

Philadelphia is known for a lot of things — the Liberty Bell, the cheesesteak, the hilarious TV show that (for the most part) isn’t actually filmed there — and, of course, its sports fans, who have a reputation for getting a little…um…passionate.

Even if you’re not from Philly, you have to admit this is pretty f—king funny. And it’s not the first time Phillies fans have brought a (grudging) smile to the faces of their sworn enemies.

Amber and Ethan from “Are You the One?” are officially each other’s one and only. The truly perfect match — who became engaged during the show’s reunion and recently celebrated their upcoming bundle of joy — are now husband and wife.
