They were supposed to teach English, but two public school instructors in Louisiana face jail time for a lesson on “ménage à trois.”

Earlier this week, police arrested 24-year-old Rachel Respess and 32-year-old Shelley Dufresne, both staff members at Destrehan High School, for group sex with a 16-year-old student (who has since turned 17), which allegedly took place after a football game last month. Dufresne is also accused of abusing the student on a separate occasion, though her lawyer insists that she is innocent.

After the alleged threesome, which may have been recorded, the student was “bragging to other students that he was having a sexual relationship with teachers,” police told the Times-Picayune. It didn’t take long for the story to reach administrators, who contacted authorities.

The teachers, now suspended without pay, have posted bond, though Dufresne is reportedly under house arrest. They’re scheduled to appear in court next month to face numerous charges, including carnal knowledge of a juvenile and contributing to a juvenile’s delinquency.

“No matter what sex the victim is, everyone should be outraged,” local police chief Michael Glaser said during a press conference. “You have an educator. Their responsibility is the safety and the education of children. … They should have known better.”

The arrest has made headlines all over the world. Dufresne is now the top Google result for “Shelley,” ahead of “Teen Wolf” actress Shelley ...

Hypothetically speaking, if you were going to find out that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was starring in a “Baywatch” movie, how would you most prefer to receive said information?

Would it be in the form of a photo, perhaps? Say, one featuring The Rock sitting jauntily astride a SeaDoo wearing naught but a pair of swim trunks, accompanied by evocative, titillating hashtags including #WhoNeedsMouthToMouth and #RedShortsBeHugginABrotha?

WELL.

Go on, it’s okay. You can weep at the utter perfection.

This pic went up overnight (October 2) on The Rock’s instagram account, accompanied by an announcement from the actor that “Rumors are true… we’re making #BAYWATCH the movie. Edgy, raunchy and hopefully, funny as all hell. Cue slo mo running on the beach…”

…and cue more weeping at the realization that all our dreams are coming true.

It’ll be another year before “X-Men: Apocalypse” kicks into high gear, but James Marsden already knows exactly who should play the younger incarnation of his “X-Men” character, Cyclops.

In an interview with our friends at MTV UK, the actor who originally brought the laser-eyed mutant to life onscreen nearly 15 years ago was quick to recommend none other than Luke Bracey — who, coincidentally, already has quite a lot of experience in the fine art of playing a younger James Marsden.

“I would campaign for my younger self from ‘The Best of Me’ to play Cyclops, and that’s Luke Bracey, a fantastic young Australian actor,” Marsden said. “He’s the first person who comes to mind, ’cause he just played me younger in this film.”

We believe this is an A+ idea and endorse it wholeheartedly; in fact, it would be totally cool with us if James Marsden and Luke Bracey spent the rest of their lives playing the same character at different times in their lives, which is a multigenerational feast for the eyeballs that anyone would enjoy.

What’s Remy Ma been doing since being released from prison after turning herself in for involvement with a shooting back in 2008? Well for one, she’s been putting out music. Oh, and she’s been shopping with Hood By Air’s founder and creative director, Shayne Oliver.

The two met up for Opening Ceremony’s series “Shop Talk,” where they perused the racks of the boutique to discuss the Bronx native’s own personal style, which Ma calls “couture hip hop.” Couture hip hop–according to Remy–is the melding of being a fashionable girl and being sexy while still maintaining an edge. Like us, the “Conceited” rapper likes to mix wearing feminine staples with masculine pieces, like a well-worn pair of Timbs or Nike Air Maxes with a prairie dress.

Remy brings up a number of valid points while browsing through some of OC’s high-end pieces: Sneakers don’t need to be regulated to days off; pony hair fitted caps can be worn by both men and women; and oversized “men’s shirts” don’t necessarily have to be catalogued in the men’s section. Remy indicates that she could easily turn a man’s shirt into dress, and that ideally, clothing would be unisex with an emphasis on being comfortable. Our new shopping mantra is officially “Why are these men’s?” because we are feeling that so hard.

So this looks promising. We know that both Jay Z and Jay Electronica are working on their solo projects, and it seems like one — or maybe both — projects will include some production from No I.D.

Jay Electronica shared an Instagram of Jay and No I.D. hard at work, without giving much detail, and it’s probably safe to assume that he snapped the photo.

Jay is keeping details about his projects tightly under wraps, of course, but so far, both DJ Mustard and Mike Will Made It confirmed that they’ve been trading beats with him for this album.

As for Jay Elect, he recently told MTV News that he has enough tracks banked to put out an album — but he’s not happy with the material yet.

“[Jay's] very involved and we’ve got a good relationship,” Jay Elect told MTV News. “The greatest thing that he’s done with me is that he’s been very patient with me — just letting me do me, and take my time. He’s got the music, but I’ve still gotta get to a point where I’m comfortable with it, because at the end of the day it’s me coming.”

And today, the movie arrives in theaters riding high on a veritable wave of anticipation. But will all that advance excitement translate to a roaring box-office success?

Just ask Jennifer Garner. The “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” star visited “LIVE with Kelly and Michael” on Thursday and bragged about just how ripped hubby Ben Affleck has been getting under the cowl for his role as Batman in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

Where do you think he gets it from? George Clooney is known for his charm, wit (and, of course, his endless delight in pranking his co-stars). So, when it came time to give a toast at Clooney’s Italian wedding to Amal Almuddin, it’s no surprise that George’s dad delivered with a funny, touching and emotional speech.

According to People, Clooney’s father, a journalist and beloved Cincinnati TV news anchor, gave a heartfelt toast during the Saturday nuptials at the lavish Aman Canal Grande in Venice. “The loveliest, most intriguing city on the planet. CHECK. A glittering assembly of accomplished people. CHECK. A beautiful bride. CHECK. A nervous groom. CHECK,” said the senior Clooney, one of four speakers during the ceremony.

“We are deep in the age of irony. … We cherish our guilty pleasure of skepticism,” he continued. “Then here comes George, the crown prince of irony, getting down on one basketball-battered knee and asking the savvy Amal to marry him. And if you think that’s crazy, Amal said ‘YES!’”
