Even though Ashton Irwin is on the mend from appendicitis and the rest of the guys of 5SOS are enjoying some well-deserved time off, they still found time to give us new music and, for that, we’re so grateful.

Five Seconds of Summer released a teaser for their brand-new song “Just Saying” on Instagram on Tuesday (October 21), and we’re already gushing — even if it’s only 15 seconds.

“Just Saying” will featured on the Good Girls EP, which drops next month (November 17). The an uptempo, guitar-driven pop/rock track features 5SOS trying to convince a girl to leave her guy.

“You should leave him because it really makes me sick/ Just saying, just saying/ You don’t need him,” they sing.

The 5SOS Fam of course immediately freaked out over the snippet; some even experienced trouble breathing.

While other fans are having a hard time coping with the fact that they have to wait another month for the full release.

And some have already declared it their new favorite song.

The Good Girls EP features four songs, including the title track and a live performance of “Just Saying” and an acoustic version of “Long Way Home,” a song off their debut album.

Fashion has lost one of its greats. Last night, Oscar de la Renta passed away at the age of 82, reportedly due to complications from cancer. The 2014 MTV EMA will air on MTV channels worldwide, and the U.S. telecast will kick off live from Miami’s Klipsch Amphitheater at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT with co-hosts Jake Miller, Nick Cannon and Molly Tarlov, plus performances from Fifth Harmony and Nick Jonas.

Across the pond, Nicki Minaj will host of the 2014 EMA from the SSE Hydro arena in Glasgow, Scotland, as well as perform. Other previously announced performers include Calvin Harris, Charli XCX, Kiesza, Royal Blood, Ariana Grande and Ed Sheeran, and metal legend Ozzy Osbourne will be honored with the Global Icon Award.

On the “Real World: Las Vegas” season finale, Mike Ross and Naomi Defensor mock-wed in typical little chapel fashion, but after this weekend, the groom might have a biiiit of explaining to do.

Mike, who’s been engaged to Taylor Roberts since last September, officially tied the knot with his one-and-only over the weekend in Laguna Beach, California (Mike’s former housemate Adam Royer caught a bit of the ceremony in the Instagram video below). And the wedding proved to be a bit of a “Real World” reunion, save for Naomi, who clearly couldn’t stand to watch her beloved carry through with his nuptials.

(Kidding, of course — Naomi apologized for missing the party on Twitter and wished the new couple well.)

“The most beautiful wedding ever,” Nany Gonzalez, another one of Mike’s former fellow cast members, tweeted from the reception with the photo below, which finds Leroy Garrett, Heather Cooke and even Mike’s former “Challenge” pal Laurel Stucky joining in on the fun.

And though Laurel’s fellow “Free Agents” champ Johnny Bananas couldn’t celebrate with Mike, he made sure to wish the betrothed well with a strikingly sincere note. “Congrats to my boy @MikeRossMTV and his lovely bride to be! She’d better treat you right Mike Mike, you’re a Gem!” he tweeted.

Martin’s source material with each passing step.

As with Tyrion’s adventures in the books, it appears that the Imp is very much in Essos, as far away from the Wild Wild Westeros as humanly possible. And just like the books, Tyrion has eventually made his way to Meereen.

Unlike the books, however, Tyrion has gotten as far up the food chain as the Mother of Dragons herself — Daenerys Targaryen.

Hollywood, California — By now, we know Kanye West isn’t scared to turn up.

Sure, Yeezy delivered a pretty calm speech about Teyana Taylor’s success at the start of the Harlem, New York singer’s VII album listening session, which was held Monday (October 20) in Hollywood. The Yeezus MC even joked that he wouldn’t show his usual passion because he’s been “controlled by the media.”

But just a few songs into the listening session, Kanye couldn’t help himself and grabbed the mic again to turn things up a notch.

“Sometimes, I be a little bit less expressive because mother——ers wanna Michael Jackson me to death and sh– and act like I don’t do nothing positive and attack me,” Kanye said to a crowd that featured Chris Brown, Karrueche Tran, Nelly, YG and Big Sean, among others.

“So, I be scared to turn up< " he continued. "If you remember with Pusha T, I turned up and everybody thought I was crazy. Then he came out and did that buck-twenty and n—-s were like, ‘Aw, man. Maybe the sh– was good.’ But what I’m saying is Teyana provides something that’s so R&B, so black, so ‘hood, so missing and so necessary in the marketplace.”

At this point, Kanye, who was at the event with wife and birthday girl Kim Kardashian, was ready to let it all out when speaking about G.O.O.D. Music’s First Lady.

Jacquie Lee knows a thing or two about baring down until reaching greatness. The 17-year-old started off as a normal girl but slowly made her way through TV singing competition “The Voice.” And although she finished as runner-up, she now has a record deal with Atlantic — and an inspirational video for “Broken Ones” to help others realize their talents.

“We all’ve been broken once/ so let’s love the broken ones,” the singer belts on the chorus of “Broken Ones,” a track off her EP of the same name, out today on Atlantic.

“I would describe it as real, raw music,” Jacquie told MTV News when we asked her about her EP last week. “It’s very honest, in my opinion. It’s totally real ‘cause that’s my biggest concern. I wanted people to listen to real music and real lyrics so that they could relate to it. Everything came from the heart.”

The video follows various down-on-their-luck teenage girls as they struggle to find their creative identity in an abandoned building. But out of the depression, a ballerina sprouts up, a painter transforms old walls, a writer finds her words and a pianist gets the courage to play. If you’re looking for motivation, this is it.

Some celebs feel like they need to go big for their birthday: a blow-out party at the hottest club, a $300,000 new car, maybe a trip for all of their friends to Turks & Caicos.

Not Katy Perry. She’s a simple girl. For her 29th birthday Katy Kat had a small request: her name on the sign outside of a Shakey’s Pizza. Of course pizza.

“All I want for my birthday is my name on the Shakey’s Pizza marquee on Santa Monica Blvd. Please,” she wrote on Twitter.

And, because she’s KP, someone made it happen. “KICKING OFF BIRTHDAY WEEK RIGHT! This signage is a bucket list dream come true!!!” she wrote on Monday night.
