Over here at MTV News, we’re against bullying 100% — and we’re flaunting that POV proudly via our snazzy new purple logo in honor of Spirit Day (October 16).

Since 2010, October 16, for many people, has been a day to stand up against the bullying of LGBTQ youth. According to GLAAD, purple is the color of choice because the hue symbolizes “spirit” on the rainbow associated with the LGBTQ community.

With all the insight of a grownup and none of the responsibility, uncles have it pretty great. Whether they’re leading by example or lack thereof, they can teach kids a lot…even when they’re just actors appearing on sitcoms. Here’s useful and important advice we learned about the real world from our favorite TV uncles.

Uncle Fester (“The Addams Family”)
The lesson: It’s what’s on the inside that counts

Given his creepy appearance, his gross name and his generally bizarre vibe, Uncle Fester might make people feel uncomfortable at first — but he was always kind, avoided conflict, treated his niece Wednesday and nephew Pugsley with great affection, and had many other less obvious charms, such as doubling as a lamp. Just because someone looks a little strange, it’s their personality we should really be noticing.

Uncle Leo (“Seinfeld”)
The lesson: Accept your family for who they are, because they’re never changing

Oh, Uncle Leo. Whenever he made semi-senile appearance on the show, it reminded us that — like Jerry — we can choose our friends, but we can’t choose our family. No matter how annoying they can be, you’ve gotta love them anyways…and should, in Leo’s words, “Always say hello.”

It may be months yet until “Magic Mike XXL” hits theaters on July 3 of next summer, but we’re already excited to see some dudes get their bromance and their dance moves on once again in the Channing Tatum-led sequel. For the cinema of it all, you know? Oh, and the abs too. Abs-olutely.

When MTV News caught up with him ahead of the opening of his latest movie, the animated “The Book of Life,” Tatum confirmed that he and his crew were hard at work filming the sequel to the summer stripping hit, and that by being in control of the script (Tatum wrote “Magic Mike XXL”), he got to change things up. Namely: it needed more bromance.

“I’m getting to right the one regret that I had with the first one, that we didn’t get to spend enough time with the guys,” he said. “I’m just excited. When I say this is the Super Bowl of the first movie, this is the mutant brother of the first movie.”

For those worried that the second installment in the series won’t be quite as revealing as the first, don’t fret: there’s no chance of this being a kid-friendly pic.

“Oh, yeah, yeah, it’s R,” Tatum laughingly confirmed. “There’s no shot of this being PG-13.”

“Magic Mike XXL” will hit theaters July 3, 2015.

What is it like to dress Kimye? As if British GQ read our minds, the magazine posed that very question to Riccardo Tisci, head of Givenchy and BFF of the Wests. Surprisingly, it wasn’t all that glamorous prior to the #WORLDSMOSTTALKEDABOUTCOUPLE’s Vogue cover.

Tisci, who outfitted the then-expecting pair in an iconic ensemble for the 2013 Met Gala (remember Kim’s rose print dress with built-in gloves? JK, how could you not?), recalls for the magazine the backlash he received when he first started dressing them—and how Kim is not at all what you’d expect.

“When they started dating Kanye came up to me and said we should all get dinner, so they came to Paris to visit me. I like the girl. She’s cool, she’s also different from what people think. She’s very special. Very beautiful. Then I found out from fashion people that people didn’t like her, people didn’t want anything to do with her. I’m a Leo and Italian and very proud, so I didn’t change my way about them. I invited them to the show, started doing special projects with them, dressing them and I got killed so much. But that’s what you do to be a friend, to be real—you don’t care about what people are saying.”

Ever wonder what Daisy Buchanan or Myrtle Wilson would look like as a guidette (think pearls, but with animal accents!)? Look no further than Snooki‘s bridal party.

Nicole Polizzi, who will soon tie the knot with longtime love Jionni LaValle, has a “Great Gatsby”-themed wedding in her sights. And according to Deena Cortese, who recently sat down for a TooFab interview, each of Nicole’s former female “Jersey Shore” housemates (save for Angelina Pivarnick…) will stand beside her as she exchanges those timeless vows.

“Me and Sam [Giancola] are in the bridal party along with Jenni [Farley],” Deena told the site, adding she expects the celebration will be “huge and beautiful and magnificent, just like Nicole. It’s gonna be a really fun wedding.”

Let’s just hope the former queens of Seaside Heights don’t shake things up too much!

We can officially put Snoop Dogg vs. Iggy Azalea battle behind us and one day look back on it as one of hip-hop’s great beefs.

OK. Maybe that second part isn’t true. But it is true that the online war of words between the two is now a thing of the past.

On Wednesday, following Snoop’s apology to Iggy for taking virtual shots at her all week, the “Fancy” rapper said she accepted the olive branch and was ready to move on.

Earlier in the day on Wednesday, T.I., the CEO of Hustle Gang, where Iggy is signed, gave the West Coast legend a call and played peacemaker.

“Boys and girls, I just got off the phone with my homeboy Tip, the King of Atlanta, and it’s officially over,” he said in an Instagram video. “No more bad talk. I apologize. Yeah, I apologize. I’m sorry; I won’t do it again.”

One of the more peculiar feuds in recent memory, Snoop vs. Iggy started when Tha Doggfather posted a meme that made fun of the Australian MC’s looks.

She didn’t appreciate the joke, and called out Snoop for acting one way to her face but then clowning her online. Her response only put a battery in the 42-year-old’s back, as he posted more memes and videos aimed in her direction in the coming days.

It’s been 29 years since the Kansas City Royals played in the World Series. To put that in perspective, Paul Rudd was 16 (and living in the K.C. suburbs) the last time his team made it to the Big Show. So of course the “Ant-Man” star was on hand at Kauffman Stadium on Wednesday night to see his team complete their thrilling sweep of the Baltimore Orioles to advance to the Series for the first time since 1985.

And, of course he planned to celebrate by throwing a massive rager at his mom’s house! “This is amazing, the entire town feels it,” Rudd told local station KMBC 9 News from the stadium field after the win. So, how was Rudd going to honor the team for their amazing 11-0 run through the playoffs? “I’m going to be partying at my mom’s house,” he joked.”Party at my mom’s house, man! Disney stars Corbin Bleu and Sasha Clements just got engaged at Disney World!

According to People, the “High School Musical” actor proposed to his girlfriend of three years in front of Cinderella’s Castle with the ring in a glass slipper.

“I’m very excited to begin this next chapter of my life with the woman who stole my heart,” Bleu, 25, told the mag.

Clements, 24, who starred in Disney Channel’s “How to Build a Better Boy,” met Bleu in a Toronto grocery store in 2011. The couple had been living long distance for a little bit, but Sasha met Corbin at the airport with a big hug.

While we’re waiting on pics of the joyous proposal or ring, Sasha posted this adorable video of their time at Universal, which is also in Florida.
